Sounds like they are not in a hurry with the Switch which there is no reason to be. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if they just keep building and just leave the upgrade to the successor.

When they announced this the Switch was very much still an unknown so it was important for Nintendo to set the tone after the abysmal WiiU. Yes I would like to see more but there’s been plenty shown and released so it’s not like I’m dying for this.

I was a little bummed out especially since LRG is starting to collect sales tax which makes up for the shipping mostly. I'm not going to get up in arms about it though since I really enjoyed the game.

Trying to resist ordering from LRG but time is running out.

It would be useful but what would be better would be coming up with tools that do not break after X amount of hours. The article mentions realism and that's not something I associate with Animal Crossing so I'm not sure what the point was as the game is not realistic at all.

I have this digitally and don't remember having issues with the running of the game so I'm not sure if it was just I hadn't been to the area with issues but regardless I'm interested in this. Sadly there are too many LRG and SRG coming out right now so I'm not sure which ones I'm going to choose.

I'll keep an eye on it but as of now discretionary spending is put on hold.

That's a really cool fact that I would have never considered. It's not as big of an issue with later consoles as technology improved and figured out solutions to things like this.

Well I was going to skip this but I ended up having enough in my wallet so all 3 of them are mine yet again.

Reaffirms what I've been hearing about this. Sure it's not revolutionary but it's a solid game that does have a uniqueness with the Co-op.

I haven't been able to pull the trigger as $50 is a little much for Drifter. Loved the game but not that much.

I've gotten 5 or so releases from SRG and so far I've been fairly happy with them. I would say in general their lineup has lacked the quality of LRG but it's still pretty solid.

Another sale is diluting the impact that sales have IMO.

I have this on PC but would like to get a physical copy for the Switch but they keep releasing DLC and different phyiscal editions so I'll have to wait.

Sounds like he is still bitter about losing his legal battle. I do take his comments though as a truth to a degree however these mediums to increase the overall power of the franchise and a ton of people will now pick up the books because of the games or show. I have Witcher 3 but have yet to play it but I am watching the show right now. It's probably going to lead me to buying the books as I've already looked at a couple local places for them but haven't found them (I'm not looking that hard).

I like the music aspect of it but the vocals I'm not a fan of as I can barely understand what they are saying.

The prestigious is what piques my curiosity.

Like most of the WiiU ports I'll be skipping this one since I have the CE edition on the WiiU. It's still in my backlog though so now might be a good time to play through it. As far as the censorship, it doesn't bother me since it did not affect the major story points or gameplay.

I think I own most of the games that were released in the west but I would always be interested in a more convenient way to play them rather than digging out an older console.

I have yet to the play the games or read any of the books so I won't have anything to compare it to directly. With that said I'm looking forward to it.

Probably one of the coolest things I've seen and that's some super talent right there.

Not really that interested unless they have some major games which I think will be hard for them as the market is getting crowded. I have bought several games from LRG and SRG without too much of a problem but I haven't tried keeping up since these games get very expensive quickly and many of them have digital versions $10 or less. So far I've been double dipping on a few titles that I feel like I would want to play again down the road. Special Reserve is another one I've used and they have been good too.

I wish I had the patience to create something like that, looks really good.

As many have pointed out, I take the term AAA as meaning large budgets and huge development teams more than anything. I do think there should still be distinction to a degree.

I've purchased some of the super cheap games but I hardly play them with the backlog I have so I end up not buying the developers newest game at full price so I don't know it's really doing much other than filling up my SD card. I'm also of the mind that these are pushing units but not really profit. 20,000 units @ .09 cents is only $1800 where as $1.00 on a game only needs 1,800 units to achieve the same sales. You probably will get similar exposure too.

The bigger issue is there are too many games and there's not a store front that really can sort through everything adequately. That's where getting the word out to me is very critical.

It's on my PS3 backlog so I'll probably skip out on this one since it's not an upgrade other than being able to be played on the go.

Unlike Sony and Microsoft, I do not see Nintendo dragging their console out 7 years as they tend to stick to the 5 year plan. If that's the case I'm expecting the next Switch to be quite the step up in power and be backwards compatible with the current one.

@leo13 yeah I eneded up buying it a week after my initial post. Great game though I didn't quite get through the entire game before I moved on. For a $1 it's probably the greatest game that the Switch has for the price.

Now this is a slip case that is really cool. Perhaps Nintendo can partner with them for a future title.

No idea if I'm going to play anything this weekend as I didn't play a game last month though I have plenty to play. I probably should start Fire Emblem or Marvel since there is a gluten of games coming out the rest of the year and I'm already buried.

@KarateLuigi , The mana collection will be SNES graphics for Secret of Mana and Trials. The trailer I think you are getting confused by is that they are also remaking Trails in 3D graphics like the remake they did for Secret of Mana on the PS4.

For me I have Astral Chain and Collection of Mana on pre-order right now. There are some other games I'm interested in but I still haven't touched Ultimate Alliance 3 and Fire Emblem so I see no need to pick anything else up atm since I no longer have GCU.

I suppose that's a neat idea but I don't think I would have a party for it.

I was thinking about picking this up but as I was looking through my Steam library I realized I already owned it so I'll probably check it out there. Good to see it on Switch though.

Damn all 3 of them look great. If I had the funds I would buy all 3 of these.

I enjoyed Gris a lot but it was one of those games that I don't think I would go back to as there isn't much else there though the visuals are quite nice. I'll have to think about that one.

I'm about halfway through the game and I would agree with the score and most of what the review says. With that beings said though, it is a lot of fun and as I've gotten used to the mechanics it's gotten even better as I pull off insane moves. I'm not sorry I got it as it's something that I can pick up and run through a level in just 5-10 minutes.

I'll probably pick this up eventually but a good sale will probably be needed.

I think I'm going to go back to Gears of War 4 and finish that up on PC then I'll jump back to the Switch and start Battle Chasers: Nightwar.

I have the physical version on order so I'll be ready for it in August. I have never finished Secret of Mana so I might fire up my SNES and see how far I got when I played it a couple of years ago and finish it up. Trails is indeed the main draw of the collection.

Long overdue. I loved the PSO on DC and GC and it's probably my most played game ever. I even liked PSOU on the 360 so I'm highly interested in this.

I'm just happy to see this collaboration happen as Banjo was one of the defining games of the N64. As far as a sequel, I would imagine seeing Yooka-Laylee and a couple other titles not blowing up the charts deterred them. It's not that they sold bad but it would have to sell a couple million units before it would probably worth it to Microsoft.

Well I already own all of these titles on the Switch but having a hardcopy is always preferred to me so I'll probably buy this. I'm just hoping it's not going to be $50 or something silly.

Apparently City Connection is a solid game so I'll be checking that out. Not much excitement though this month.

Good to hear they are going to have a focus on NA developers and publishers. Hopefully that means some of the big 3rd party publishers and not just the Indie scene.

On the wishlist for now.

Overall I like it since though there are a lot of the first Contra. Probably day one for me.

I wasn't expecting it to be honestly since I am Setsuna and Lost Sphere did not have them either.
