Would you like to fall asleep in the kingdom of Hyrule every night? Perhaps you've already done this during a prolonged session of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch or Wii U. If so, you'll likely appreciate this absolutely stunning bedroom mural based on the land of Hyrule in Breath of the Wild.
It's been created by a Zelda fan and freelance artist named Hannah Baker – who runs Platypus Murals out of High Point, North Carolina. When her little sisters asked her to paint their room (who also happen to be fans of Link's latest 3D adventure), Hannah decided to transform it into the beautiful open-world scenery featured in the game.
Hannah says her sisters helped her prepare the walls and ceiling, and then she spent "the next few weeks" after that, painting it all. She's even added some glow in the dark elements, apparently. The room itself is also filled with plenty of Zelda-themed items and even the beds match the surrounding environment.

Okay, this is impressive. My room next, please!
Very nice indeed
All i had in my bedroom as a kid was Transformer sheets. 😢
@Zeldafan79 You had a Transformer sheet!!
I love zelda and link. This is so amazing and beautiful. I think I may call her and buy all the walls, ceilings and door. Hehe
It really is super duper cool and I wish my room was painted like this. I would want my whole room painted, that way I get up and go poo, I think the path to mountain is my closet and the hill with the sword on top is my door. I'd prolly get stuck in my room wandering around Hyrule, trying to get out.
It’s really cool. I love the door and all the walls
i want it.
Wow, just wow. This is amazing
Very cool! The kids are now happy I think)
@Forill
Yeah! G1 too i might add! They were pretty awesome but not nearly as cool as this bedroom setup!
That is really impressive! Amazing!
Next level VR.
So jealous. And I'm 32.
Yes but what’s the framerate? We need to know these things. 😃
@WiltonRoots 1wps. 1 wall per second. Hehe
@Xylnox Lol! There's not enough brevity around this place at the mo.
My guess is that if one were to commission a similar piece from a professional, it would cost a lot of money. The first figure that popped into my mind was $20,000, but even that might be too low.
This really is quite amazing! Imagine waking up to this everyday, It would definitely make my mornings a lot better.
Linkredible!
Just stunning! Lovely to see the kind of inspiration different folks can draw from a game such as BotW ... it's not just art itself, but a major inspiration for many other artists.
whats wrong with good old magnolia?
The door really makes it
Beautiful.. can't really think of what else to say
Cripes, that's beautiful! I'd love it but I think I would be frustrated that I couldn't move further into the picture everytime I woke up tired and delirious thinking I was in Hyrule.
That is fantastic! I love all the different elements that the artist put into the picture. There is a lot of stuff there, but it does not seem to busy. What a superb work of art!
Really lovely. I know for me personally, the novelty of it would wear off fairly quickly. And I love Zelda just as much as the next guy or gal. But kudos to her for that kind of dedication.
Woah. That is something special. What a talent. I don’t think for a bedroom, personally, but maybe a man cave or games room. Really great work
Well I better let her know she's going to be my wife now. Now to let my first wife know...
Probably one of the coolest things I've seen and that's some super talent right there.
@Freddo i want this...i'm 38
She's super hot besides talented, what a mom
That is beyond amazing!
Beautiful work.
That is magnificent, the exit of the shrine of resurrection on the bedroom door is class
My room next please. I have a large wallet full of rupees, a wooden shield, 12 arrows and a bottle of green potion to cover all expenses.
Amazing! Looks absolutely amazing!
This is amazing and she's crazy talented! Her little sisters are very lucky.
How much? How much? HOW...MUCH??? (throws wallet at screen)
I would pay to have this done.
Shut up and take my money!
I still really like BOTW despite everyone now hates it because of how popular it is
Its very beautiful.
