Astral Chain day 1 for me! Oninaki was decent. Waiting on reviews for that one.
Astral chain and Enter the Gungeon are day one pick ups. I would probably double dip on Friday the 13th if the Switch version had wireless play but it looks like that isn't happening. I'm kind of interested in Oninaki so if I can find a physical copy for a decent price I might get it.
I already bought Astral Chain. My body is ready.
Astral Chain and Yu-Gi-Oh for me
Oninaki and Astral are pre-ordered. If I had extra money I’d totally double dip and get Dead Cells, Gungeon, and Mana on Physical to have the boxes. But I’ve got the digital versions already and that’s a hard justification. Not to mention I’m broke. Anyone spare a dime for poor gamer? 😆

Fantastic? Ehhh I beg to differ. I say decent in the mix with some dogs.
Astral Chain is already preloaded (normally don't do preorders, but that voucher thing left me no other choice, but I think this one is as safe a bet as they come ^^) and I tried that Oninaki Demo and what can I say, I actually liked it quite a bit. I don't know how much depth there is to the world and combat, but the first impression was certainly good esp. considering I was not into their previous two titles I tried. I won't have time to play it in the near future, but I'll might pick it up on a sale down the road. I also need to see what the PS4 version offers in excess to determine which one I pick, though I seriously doubt the game will have some meaningful features like HDR or such anyways ...
So yeah, quite a decent month all around and with FE just out and Luigis coming still in the pipe, I'd say there is plenty of happening with something for everyone, which is what really matters imho.
Astrial chain.
Oninaki and yugi-oh for me
Chances of completing Fire Emblem before Astral Chain comes out are near zero. Stupid space-time continuum...
Omega Labyrinth Life, Oninaki, Astral Chain, Dead or School, and Root Letter Last Answer are my top five anticipated for August.
No interest in any of these. I may pick up the Collection of Mana digitally some day. I'm glad people seem to be excited for Astral Chain and Oninaki, though!
Bubsy day 1
Honest
September is truly the month of great games, ASStral chain isn’t that appealing to me and I feel like it’s all hype
Rad may be the last Doublefine game on a Nintendo system. Methinks LRG could get involved too...
Collection of Mana for me! Been holding out for dat physical! :3
Next month will be murder on my wallet!
My only concern about Pillars of Eternity is how small the text is going to be on the screen when it is undocked and in handheld mode. That being said, I'll probably still buy it and put up with it because Pillars of Eternity is a wonderful game and there's so much content.
HAMSTERDAM looks amazing!
Bubsy on a "fantastic" games list?! This is pretty pathetic.
nope, at this point im looking for reasons to spend money. But just, no.
I'm looking forward to RAD, and kind of interested in Astral Chain, but I'll wait on see on that one due to the cost. Not like I don't have enough to play already.
Meh. Nothing for me this month.
Astral Chain and Mana Collection for me for sure! I'll probably pick up Oninaki at some point but will likely wait for reviews.
Does anybody know whether Collection of Mana offers original SNES graphics for all games including Trials/Seiken Densetsu 3? I've only seen the E3 trailer so far which doesn't whereas the official website shows SNES graphics only and I'm confused.
Astral Chain! No doubt.
@KarateLuigi , The mana collection will be SNES graphics for Secret of Mana and Trials. The trailer I think you are getting confused by is that they are also remaking Trails in 3D graphics like the remake they did for Secret of Mana on the PS4.
For me I have Astral Chain and Collection of Mana on pre-order right now. There are some other games I'm interested in but I still haven't touched Ultimate Alliance 3 and Fire Emblem so I see no need to pick anything else up atm since I no longer have GCU.
I didn't realize that they were porting the first Pillars too. Sorely tempting, but damn is that big for an isometric RPG!
Collection of Mana physical, Terreria physical and Remothered: Tormented Fathers for me this month.
Collection of Mana, Astral Chains, and Friday the 13th for me!
Astral chain, Oninaki, and Trials of mana are the only games im really looking forward to
@wratih9 ah, somehow it didn't quite click that they're two completely separate things. I had a look and yes, that trailer was for the HD remake. Thank you very much for your help!
Astral Chain, Oninaki and RAD all possibilities. Want the Physical Collection of Mana too.
That’s a lot for August which is normally pretty quiet.
Gonna skip all games this month (Astral Chain will be bought on a sale later). Next month will be expensive as hell, though.
Wow, Pillars of Eternity, that is awesome. I have that for PC (without the addons), will buy again for Switch if it´s any good (ported). Also very interested in Chroma Squad. This will be an interesting month for sure
Astral chain, rad and Friday the 13th. And picking up FE probably.
I have preordered two of these: Astral Chain and Collection of Mana.
Wasn’t Bulletstorm supposed to come out this summer, too?
Quite a few there I’ll be picking up.
But Astral Chain is the one I’m actually going to play day one, and to completion (pending Fire Emblem completion, of course)
Probably just clearing some backlog for me, although like so many others I've got my eyes on Astral Chain. I don't do pre-orders though, I'll wait for reviews.
Bubsy??????? I doubt it will be any good
Fantastic is pushing it just a bit.
@Isaix It should be good since it is just Runner with a Bubsy skin. I hope the take the difficulty down a notch from Runner 3, though
Let me know when mana is on sale for $15.
Clearly Astral Chain is THE game to get this month. Really hoping it does well.
No love for Guacamelee Collection? I’ll be getting that next week and Mana at the end of the month.
Astral Chain is what I have my eye set out on... whoa, wait. Bubsy? Never mind, Bubsy comes before anything.
Gotta say, Zion is growing on me. He still doesn't feel as natural in front of the camera as Alex, but he seems more at ease. I'd love to see the rest of that game room he films in!
Also not much this month I am too interested in. Astral Chain just doesn't really look like it's for me. But that's fine, I'll probably still be playing Fire Emblem Three Houses for a good long time!
I forgot about Yugioh, I'll get it eventually. I'm in no hurry since I have it on Steam, though. (I stopped playing for some reason, never even got that far. >.<)
@Zidentia I love dogs
@LUIGITORNADO
Lol me too. Especially my Huskita
Astral Chain is the only August Switch game worth buying maybe Oninaki
Just Astral Chain but that's when the insanity begins.
Astral Chain is already preloaded!
Woah, woah... woah.
Why did nobody tell me the Bubsy game was basically a Runner sequel? Now I'm interested.
I already own the digital version of ETG but the physical has so many goodies in it
