Interesting, I have been watching for this. I'll have to keep it in mind but with Octopath and N-sane Trilogy over the next few weeks this will be something I pick up down the road.
@Realist
There are 8 levels of difficulty levels that you can use the slider with.
I have this downloaded and I'm looking forward to it since I like most of Atooi's games. I put 30 hours into Totes the Goat which is very simple so I could see myself playing this for a bit as my go to pick up and play game when I just have a few minutes.
I got it preordered. Looks like a solid package overall and I won't have to purchase all the physical toys, I can just get them digital. The DL sucks as I'm almost done filling my 32 GB. Other than getting a bigger memory card, maybe Nintendo can do External Hard drive support.
This game seems to be good fit for the Switch audience but it sounds like it's more of a challenge to over to the Switch than most of us realize. I'm not sure how the EA partners program works but they must have very little involvement other than showing it off and publishing it.
I'm more interested in the game list between this and the the SNK collection coming out on Switch. I think if they are similar I would rather have the SNK Collection on the Switch.
I'm really happy that developers are doing this and it's a great option. I sadly have not been able to pull the trigger on one these games as the cost so much higher compared to their digital form. As a collector it pains me but simply cannot afford the 40 games I've downloaded if I'm putting $30-$40 a pop compared to the $5-$20.
I mean it didn't sell well but I'm pretty sure Capcom is probably okay with a $250,000 in one week and they really didn't have to do much to the games.
Too many RPGs coming out at the same time. I have this one pre-ordered along with Octopath which between the 2 of them could tide me over until September.
I've been playing it on casual mode and really like it. I'll probably run through it again on normal once I finish up this run. Overall the 8/10 seems to fit as it does some really good things and simulates the good and bad of the original.
Quite a few good ideas. My favorite being following a developer/publisher and also seeing their recommendations. I'm on there every day and pay attention to the release schedule. I happen t to find more games on sale to try than anywhere. It doesn't hurt that they are discounted.
I have this pre-ordered but I may cancel and put the money to something else since I already own these games on GC, NES, VC, and the 1st collection on the 3DS. Decisions decisions.
Good to hear, I was wondering since I didn't see in the top 15 but for a few days. I guess even if a game isn't in the top 15 games on the eshop it still can be very profitable and successful. I haven't picked it up yet though I will in time.
I'll probably jump on this with a sale since I dropped 30 hours into the WiiU version. Looks like a great port though with it being able to be played in handheld and they added all the DLC.
I hope this comes out in June because there's too much coming out at the very end of June thru July so I will not have time for it. Also I hope they announce before release when a physical version will be available since I do not want to double dip.
I was going to say ludicrous but @RuppeClock made this a long shot.
I cannot say it's a horrible idea but I think it would make more sense to make Star Fox an open world space game. Make it the the space faring adventurer.
I'll add it to my wishlist, there's honestly too much of this right now for me to keep up with. Games like this are great because of their replay but I don't think I can invest that much time into them because of all the other titles that are always coming out. Damn my interest in so many genres .
I played Pirate's Curse on 3DS and enjoyed it but I have yet to play this one. I might jump in on this but I've heard it was a step back which concerns me. I liked Pirate's but I didn't think it was amazing so a step back does not sound good.
Much like Konami, Capcom has such a rich history and simply does not use it to their advantage. The Disney afternoon collection should already be on Switch, XX should have been translated, and the Megaman collection is being done wrong with the half an half approach. Of course we shouldn't be surprised on the last one considering they screwed it up on the Gamecube version too.
I was actually looking forward to this especially after finishing The Final Station but it doesn't sound exceptional. Might still check it out but it would be at a later time.
Not that I need more games to play but with a discount I'll have to bite on this one. I almost bought it on launch week but was playing other stuff and decided to hold off. I still other stuff to play but the discount always get's me.
It doesn't surprise me, though if that's the only thing they are working on that would. I'm hoping/expecting to hear more about their next project at E3.
I ended up not playing a lot this weekend as I was busy trying to get my garden in the ground. I snuck in about an hour of Totes the Goat and another hour into South Park but I haven't gotten very far.
I played about an hour of this and was not impressed. It wasn't bad but the graphics truly are on that edge of being amateurish. The battle system is the only thing interesting so far but I'll have to put more time into it to decide the quality. So far meh.
The true test will be where it's at in 4-6 weeks. If it's like Brain Age and some of the DS games it will hang out in the top 10 for a long time. Otherwise it's going to be a flash in the pan.
I got Megaman on my radar for this month and I had Dark Souls but that is not happening. It doesn't bother me with the ports since I've been pouring money into the Indies on the Eshop. Once the retail releases starting turning into new titles (looks like July) I'll probably quit buying so many Indie games.
It's chugging along pretty good with about 95K to go. I might support this but this doesn't seem a for sure thing like the other projects I've backed. Also the game does not seem that interesting to me...
Not bad but it's something that I need to compare to their anniversary collection coming to the Switch. The game selection is very fighter heavy so I'm not sure I would be playing a lot of it. Other than that it will interesting whether it has save states (multiple would be nice) and a good menu.
I've downloaded all the titles but have yet to play any of them. Part of it is that I don't want to kill my battery on these experiences. I have enough problems getting through the day before my batteries dead without playing games. Other than that, I just do not like playing games on my phone though there have been exceptions. I did really enjoy a few titles like Peggle, Where's my Water, and Angry Birds.
I went ahead and picked this up at Gamestop since it was apparent this was going to be a limited release. Otherwise I would have waited to buy it.
I've put 5 hours into it and it's great for the genre. I would say it's very difficult though even at the Easy difficulty. The Beginner mode is a good starting off point to get better at the game. I wish they would have patched in pointer controls and let us control lives and continues.
I can appreciate Labo but I have very little interest in it since I'm not a creative person. The putting together of the cardboard would be fun and running through the software but after a weekend I probably would be done with it. I do want to purchase them though from collector's standpoint and just not put them together. Little pricey for that though at this time.
