@Ghost_of_Hasashi yeah, I forgot about that earlier release.
Don‘t get me wrong, 30$ for the classic Doom games is OK, they are just not complete without Doom64.
But I still think the additions in the collector editions aren‘t worth the price. Just look at Bethesda‘s merch store what you could get for 50-100$ instead...
Edit: It seems, LRG has raised the price of the standard edition to 39,99$. So this means I am even not ok with the price for the games without additional stuff anymore. At least that merch is not an additional 50$ but „only“ 40$...
30$ for the game collection (unfortunately missing Doom64) - that is not surprisingly.
But additional 50$ for some garbage merchandise!?
And another 50$ for that LED-lit cover thing? That‘s insane!
Something I never understood: In Pocket Camp the campsiders can use many objects (as the carousel or balloons seen in the video), in New Horizon everything besides benches is just decoration...
And why aren‘t the balls kickable like in the very first(!) Animal Crossing? With the already available goals you could do a working sports arena! So much fun with so little needed effort...
Being able to swing the camera to the left and right for about 45 degrees outdoors. (Like it was in the older games in houses). It‘s a shame some very nice items like the Campsite sign cannot been read/seen in 3 of 4 positions!
Anyone wanting in-game posters of Zipper, so you don‘t forget about him the rest of the year? I would trade them with you ...hm, haven‘t seen his poster on horror islands yet...
Is it clear that he only uses LEGO bricks and none from another company? Otherwise I would recommend to say ‚toy bricks‘, as LEGO‘s lawyers are very aggressive at the moment...
I really love train strategy games, but this one is not for me.
Tried the demo yesterday. It‘s far from beauty (which is not THAT big problem). Textures are very very low resoltution. So to ride the train is a nice gimmick in theory, but you wont use it more often because this hurts the eyes and destroys the immersion (while in Railroad Empire I like to ride the trains just for fun).
The zoom cannot go far away enough to have a good overview. It seems you cannot tell a train to go somewhere immediately or to stop, so if there is a mess, you have to take the train off the rails completely!?
But the biggest problem I had are the shadows, constantly flickering all over the screen because of the fast flowing time and moving sun. You can turn shadows off or freeze the sun, but that makes the not so pretty game not prettier... this is not just ugly, this is unbearable.
I had problems with A-Train for Amiga and I don‘t like A-Train for the Switch. Seems, this is not the right game series for me
@Lone_Beagle @masterLEON Ah, I remember it came on 3 CDs; the third had the soundtrack, so I used my internal drive for the game CD and my external CD writer for the soundtrack CD to have music ingame I always felt the space stations were much too empty, in look as in sound...
I visited my old Animal Crossing town on the Gamecube today and built a (perfect) snowman. So many things I forgot that were already in this very early game of the series. And I have been insulted by one of the villagers right away And met Blanca on the train to the city on my second memory card. I miss her in New Horizons... What a great game
@Lone_Beagle I own and played Terminus, too, as it was the only good Elite-type game of that time, at least for the Mac. I imported the US Edition to Europe, as it has all three versions (Mac, Windows & Linux) in one package.
@MakkaroniOni Well, I know what sarcasm is. I am sorry, when I was not able to see it in your post. Maybe it was not absurd enough to be clearly a taunt to people believing this could happen?
@RupeeClock @SwitchForce
Genki already wrote in Kickstarter comments section that it will work with a USB-C to USB-A cable. As the adapter (just) emulates a webcam for the computer, this is no surprise
Edit: Yeah, I know hashtags doesn‘t make sense here. Nevertheless, because of their behavior I dislike Epic even more. It‘s funny they collaborate with Samsung for this, a company which is more important than politics in South Korea...
@Heavyarms55 recipes are in balloons, but it seems they are more rare than previous balloon-recipes... Also still missing some of the mushroom ones, but already had two recipes twice what never happened before, not before collecting all possible recipes...
I always thought SSSV was a hidden gem on the N64. Love that game. Ever recognized you can feel the bass when standing near a speaker in a level and using the rumble pack? - The GBC version unfortunately was not half as good. Too hard shooter levels...
Funny thing they put Gil from Tower of Druaga in here, as he is not very well known nowadays. I read the game was popular in Japanese Arcades in the mid 80s, but it was not so in the west. I saw it, but never played it. Well, seems to be the time to test the game, as I already have it on my Evercade
@Eberon You were faster than me At least it is some sort of cute and fitting name. Most German names in AC are boring und generic. It seems, the translator just picked some normal names randomly...
Is it possible to create a pizza with a whole lobster and bananas? ...I should play the old „Pizza Connection“ a.k.a. „Pizza Tycoon“ again, that was so much fun. And I liked the 2D cartoon style more than those modern 3D graphics...
@Bermanator of course they close the duplicates. You don‘t want multiple entries for the same bug, otherwise you would need to investigate the same bug twice, that then would probably already been fixed. You are free to comment the existing oldest bug report.
Maybe there are other (game breaking) bugs more important to be fixed first. Or older bugs. Or easier bugs. Or special schedules. So it is good, that you report errors, but relax.

„To me cheating means "gaining something for yourself that others don't have". So as long as you aren't stealing from others or "cheating" others, I don't see how you're cheating.“ #50
Stealing CAN also be cheating, but it is stealing.
Cheating is to subvert rules. And this is not necessarily giving yourself an advantage over others. Even in the 80s where nearly every game was single player, we called it a cheat to give you more lives, manipulate save games, deactivate a timer or similar things.
If the rule is to play in real time, then jumping in time is a cheat. But this is not necessarily a bad thing.
Cheating in competitive multiplayer games of course is really bad. The names I have for people doing this would get me banned here
But playing a game in an „easy mode“ the game offers by itself of course shouldn‘t be called cheating.
@UmbreonsPapa 1. I myself traveled in time backwards on the Wii version to get things I otherwise would have missed. But I know this was cheating. 2. the game tries to prevent time travel (rotten turnips, etc), it does not offer it!
Everyone should know by him/herself, if he/she uses time travel. It just makes rare and special items very generic unfortunately. Seeing islands full of original statues is just boring. This was not my point. My point was calling other people fools by playing the game the way intended.
@Anti-Matter well, let me cite you: „I am not a fool to follow the slow pace gaming like that.“ #17 „The real time was a gimmick to fool players to follow the gameplay style of Animal Crossing. I am not a fool like that.“ #21
@Anti-Matter Well, the game does not offer you time travel, you have to change the system time of your Switch to do so, so this is not something the game offers. Even if you personally think this is no cheating.
But are you seriously insulting everyone not doing time travel a fool? Wow...
