I even saw a 0 points review because the reviewer "don't like how you have to go to the airport to send postcards" – many stupid people out there in the internet...
Half of the people in my Switch friends list are already playing Animal Crossing. That‘s really fascinating. But ACNH deserves it; it is such a great game...
@Kabbij well, that‘s not the reflection of the moon but just how the waves are looking. You can see the same shape of waves in the first video at 0:05 in bright daylight.
@JokerCK I think Pokemon is also overrepresented in Smash, but there are also 8 Fighters, the same amount as FE (now), not more. But the Pokemon are very different to each other, visually and in fighting style. So that‘s another problem with FE characters: They are (mostly) too similar.
That‘s no triangle (polygon, 2D), that is a pyramid (polyhedron, 3D)! If they would have made a tetrahedron, I would understand them to choose a simpler word, but that is just a pyramid!
Really nice game, especially for those 1,99€ at the moment if you own another game by them (for me it was Mini Trains).
Good controls, nice presentation, hard to master, plenty of different cars. Wished you could change the car‘s colours...
Are Infos about ZR/ZL official? I cannot find them on Nintendo websites. The German website even says they are compatible with games using D-Pad, A, B, X, Y, L & R - There is no mentioning of ZR/ZL at all! Because of size and shape those buttons could be home and snapshot, couldn‘t they?
The game I played through the most times was Eternal Darkness. So sad there was no sequel.
Was a little disappointed of Wave Race Blue Storm, while I loved Wave Race 64 where I had a long time competition with my sister
Had much fun with Gauntlet and with Smuggler‘s Run
Beach Spikers was great, too, despite I don‘t like sports games very much
And V-Rally 3. The first realistic rally game I played.
Soo many great games on this machine...
I really liked that game. Bought it twice on N64 and Dreamcast. Had some trouble with the English speech that days, but the German version (which was fully dubbed with very good voice actors) was censored unfortunately. The missing blood destroyed the scary athmosphere, but more silly was you could not kill the enemies, just stun them, so the German game was much harder...
@bluezbro then maybe you are very lucky with your TV. Most flat screens cannot show N64‘s standard resolution of 240p/288p, they render it as it is 480i, and that (interlaced instead of progressive) is unfortunately a very visible loss in quality.
Every time I read „Battle Worlds: Kronos“ I am wondering if there are Klingons in the game 😂 And will there be sequels like „Battle Worlds: Romulus“ or „Battle Worlds: Andoria“? ... seems I have watched too much Star Trek recently...
@dumedum It is the way to differ textadventures and graphicadventures with text parser from the later adventures you just need the mouse and no text input. The name at least tells what they are. In difference to the special scrolling fighting games called „brawler“.
Wulverblade is great. And filled with so many historical facts. Really cool for people interested in celtic or roman history. First a little hard in single player, but got an easy mode.
@impurekind you are right, S-Video is already much better than Composite. A problem nowadays is, that video grabbers and flat screens mostly have no S-Video anymore AND don‘t support the N64‘s low video resolution of 240p. So they convert it to something terrible looking.
@impurekind N64 had no RGB, but the SCART adapter had a much better picture as composit because of using S-Video (same cable as for SNES) RGB output seems to been planned by Nintendo, but they didn‘t finished it. French consoles of the first batch have some parts in them, so that they can be finished with RGB output; so as written before, RGB just with modded consoles.
Since this Joy-Con update reaction in Fitness Boxing is much better. Especially my right neon-red Joy-Con had big problems (losing connection while standing 1 Meter in front of the Switch, strange long vibrations, not reacting...) Now all is running fine.
@Paraka

Not necessarily, kiwi plants for example are either male or female.

„This is awesome i love him in The Little Shop Of Horrors.“
Well, Audrey2 is a „mean green MOTHER from outer space“, despite of a more male voice, but nevertheless, it‘s a really great film! Have the vinyl somewhere, should hear it again.

What‘s your problem? Just because someone tell‘s an „it“ a „she“, after it was told a „he“ twice he/she propagates feminist bs? Just ignore it, but don‘t fill the comments with anti-feminism bs, please.
Got mine today and just finished the third challenge with 3 out of 3 stars. Really cool and slow game. A little too much mud till now It‘s not often I start a game and have a big smile after a few minutes while playing.
Great for simulation fans!
Analogue throttle would be helpful, but with stuttering digital throttle it is manageable.
@Gerald Well, I was a little ironic, I know every system has its strenghts. But as you mentioned, there are games showing what really was possible at the CPC, but there also are so many loveless ports, especially the many speccy ports because of their similar hardware, which may be great at the Spectrum, but are slower at the CPC and additionally often uglier than on the C64. I also loved some of that Mastertronic games, and they where cheap enough for a pupil.
You should take a look at some of the newest games released the last few years. For example the winner of this years CPCRetroDev competition „Operation Alexandra“ is really great! And I hope the port of „Pinball Dreams“ will be finished soon, the playable demo is phenomenal.
btw. I played Saboteur 2 at my CPC those days, but was not very good at this game. But I loved the music, one of my top 5 songs of 8bit games. Rob Hubbard is one of the best!
@Gerald because the CPC always was the best 8bit computer by far and everyone was/is frightened, it could get world domination (Just made mine even better last week with a Gotek USB-Floppy-Emulator)
My game arrived today. Haven‘t played it yet, but am a little disapointed about the package. I know, manuals are oldschool, and also the PS3 version just had an info card about the controls. But the switch package doesn‘t even have a nice picture at the inside! My computer version had a (so called) short(!) manual of 34 pages with stories, maps and descriptions of the hero classes! Diablo 2 had even more pages and I really don‘t know, how often I read it. The game doesn‘t deserve such lovelessness...
Why again is „Death Race“ mentioned? It is a movie by this director, but it is not a movie to a game!? It‘s the remake to a movie of 1975 (Death Race 2000). Maybe because Carmaggedon was inspired by the original movie?

You also can use the stone axe for gathering wood, it won‘t chop trees either but is more sturdy.
