@Yosher Checked the eShop and it says there’s issues with progression. Hopefully they can get it fixed (and maybe a Switch 2 Edition to get it closer to the other versions)

I’ve been playing my brother’s Switch 2 a lot and I gotta say it’s been pretty great so far despite my grievances with Nintendo’s anti-consumer pricing and actions. Mine is still “preparing to ship” (I got my Nintendo store invite 2 days ago) and I’m excited for it to arrive! Mainly getting mine as a replacement for my Switch 1 I got a month after launch though since I have a lot of stuff on there already + new games are too expensive for my liking, especially with how little I make.

Honestly after buying MK1 on Switch 1 around the time Ghostface released (my PC didn’t have enough storage at the time) I actually haven’t encounter any major issues except for minor stutters and brief lag during gameplay (and the fact that Conan was ‘t available early on Switch like the other consoles for some reason). Shiver really seems to have improved it and I can imagine playing it on Switch 2 is even better! Hopefully we can get a native Switch 2 version of the komplete edition though.

@Henchdog I would honestly love it if we got ports of those two games.

For those who don’t know, WWE 2K18 is no longer complete dogwater when playing on Switch 2 😭

Genuinely the only problem I have with this game is that Nintendo wants $80 for it. No game is worth that much. If it were $70 it’d still be steep but it’s at least the norm and it would’ve been one of the few $70 games that’s worth full price.

My shirt got pinched with the magnets on my brother’s Switch 2 the other day which was pretty amusing to me. But yeah, suing over this when they tell you to be careful is dumb.

@Fel09ktl These sales are 100% going to slow down after a little while with how expensive it is compared to Switch 1. Rent and groceries take priority over games for people who actually have financial responsibility.

Docking the game a point for having a “poor” dub that’s optional is crazy.

@SabreLevant I imagine the non-upgraded versions would be at a stable 30fps like other Switch 1 games that haven’t gotten updates.

Probably not ordering it anymore cause I’ve kinda lost interest in it, plus since the time I reserved I ended up getting a car after finally getting my license and I’m now having to make car payments that’ll take up most of my (small) paycheck. I’m prioritizing that and groceries over a console I’ve slowly lost interest in due to all of the price drama plus I have a huge backlog and a handheld better than the Switch for the games I care more about anyways.

@Serpenterror It was available on Xbox One/Series X through backwards compatibility but apparently got delisted on that and the PS3 store in 2022. I bought it before then but it stinks that it’s just lost now.

@Vyacheslav333 We could’ve had the HD version with Spawn and Heihachi (with Link too since it’d actually be on a Nintendo console so all of the guest characters could fight each other).

Haven’t gotten an email yet and the store page for the bundle says “Invite required” which is weird because O thought it would say “Invite requested”? If this means I’m not eligible somehow (I checked before I joined the queue) then I’m 100% skipping the Switch 2. I was already iffy on buying it because of Nintendo’s increasing anti-consumerism so it won’t upset me too much.

If it does it’ll probably be simple and kind of boring like the Galaxy games and Odyssey’s multiplayer.

Thank god I got invested in PC gaming a while ago and already have a good amount of games. This is the fault of corporate greed as much as it is the fault of ol’ Trumpelstiltskin.

Meanwhile the CEO is putting more money in his pockets and continuing to get paid for literally doing nothing.

Just an excuse to be lazy and not bother with giving everyone the proper credit. I can imagine Koji Kondo only gets credit because he composed the Mario theme.

@Rpg-lover Already have that on the 3DS. They definitely need to port it to Switch/Switch 2 though so we can have an even better version.

Nintendo doing more with VR on Switch 2 would be amazing.

I got introduced to Turok thanks to the Mature N64 Switch Online app and despite the controls being a bit weird (even using my N64 Switch controller) I had fun with it! Got the remaster on PC and the modern controls are a godsend.

Definitely using the Switch 2 as a better way to play Switch 1 games at this point and not buying a lot of Switch 2 stuff. I prefer indie games on my Steam Deck anyways (doesn’t mean I won’t also buy them on Switch 2 though!)
