Much respect for revealing this. Games like Galaxy of Heroes and Marvel strike force would never do this. It’s easier for them to exploit gambling addiction.

Got this on Wii U and felt ripped off because I could never find an online match. Don't feel like getting burned again. But it's a lot of fun.

I’ll keep it on my radar. Obviously will need to see more than what was shown in this trailer.

Companies like EA EXPLOIT addictive behavior through games like Galaxy of Heroes.
-The game is set up like a casino with "loot boxes".
-You have to sign in throughout the day for free rewards that expire after a couple hours, keeping you engaged throughout the day.
-It's all wrapped up in a Star Wars package, we all know how rabid Star Wars fans are...

So yes, I believe gaming addiction is real and some companies know this and exploit it.

I don’t think the N64 has aged as well as SNES or NES. I prefer the sharper graphics of the previous systems as opposed to the muddied blocky graphics of the 64. I enjoyed the system during the time it was released, but nowadays can do without it.

I may buy one month and see how it goes. I don’t play enough online games to see any value in this.

It’s official. Nintendo is out of new ideas. At least it’s not a remake of a 3 year old game. Still I am very disappointed in how LAZY Nintendo has become.

As a kid it felt like endless rows and shelves of video games. I remember picking out Guardian Legend for my birthday because I liked the cover. Still have the game, box, and manual.

Great game, I won’t be buying it as it seems to be released every other week by Nintendo . I’d love a reboot of the series with a brand new and awesome entry.

I wish I never bought a Wii U. Loved runbow but could rarely find a match online. Dont feel like buying it again for this reason.

Well, maybe "guts" is the wrong word to use.

I don't think a critic should be employed to destroy ones work.

Right now the game has technical difficulties. Though released, it's not a finished product. That's just the world we live and we might want to accept that. I think it would be unfair to tell the world this game is a 4/10, because next week it could be a 9/10. But many would have already moved on and would miss out on a great experience.

The staff at Nintendo Life loves gaming, no question about it. They have a responsibility to treat the industry fairly because they respect it and love it. I'm also sure that, as gamers, they are also frustrated that 2K has released a broken product.

That said, i think it might be good to appease everyone if they could give a range of scores for these situations. It's not the first time this has happened and won't be the last. They can say, "right now, this game is playing like X but we feel a patch can make it play like a X."

I'd also be interested in an editorial where they can give an opinion on releasing games like this (if they haven't already).

On another note, the only other time I can remember questioning a NL review was NBA 2K13 for Wii U. That game sukt !

Don't be so hard on NintendoLife people. On metacritic there are only 4 sites that had the guts to issue a score for the game. My guess is everyone is waiting to justify scoring the game at least 8/10.
