100% of PS3/4 owners that do not own a Wii/U is because they claim the games are too "kiddie". 100% of these owners also LOVE professional wrestling. Go figure.

You probably won't lose EVERYTHING. However, my system had to be repaired and they wiped it clean. Some games (like Donkey Kong Country) were no longer available to download. They did give me credit for those games but I would have rather had the games that I purchased back. The idea that what you purchase will always belong to you is 100% FALSE.
@dumedum Have you ever used Nintendo repairs? They lack any respect for your property or game progress. They will wipe everything off of your hard drive including saves. They even deleted all of my Mii characters including family and friends who have passed away so thats a real bummer. I always took enjoyment of seeing them randomly while playing certain games. Another time they sent my Wii back to me literally disassembled and in pieces. I am refering to NOA repairs btw.

Personally, video games are more addictive than heroin.

There is one type of buyer for this game(initially, not counting bargain bin purchases); people that only have Nintendo systems . Owners of ps3, xbox360, and their successors find these type of games as dime a dozen on those consoles.

@leemeyer26 a reasonable defense of your scoring thoughts. I do feel that the game sets a new standard for the retro genre. If this game were released in the 90s I think we would still be giving it a 10. Mario 3d world got many 10s and I don't think they really reinvented the 3d platformer with it, but I guess that's the power of Mario. Anyway, good review.

Will they let you use the Mercedes online? Funny if they will... You can't play as a Mii in smash bros because everyone is afraid of Hitler but you can drive one of his cars. OUTRAGE!!! ROAR!! ME MAD ME OFFENDED!!!!

My Wii U collected so much dust at the beginning for me to even consider purchasing a PS4 at this time and at this price .

I'll say it was a "good" e3. I think a surprise release on eShop would have pushed them over the top. Nothing about e3 drove me to turn on my Wii U other than discounts .

Best mario kart ever. Therefore I will only mention cons to this point in my initial impressions.
1) both rainbow road levels are major disappointments. Especially the 64 version being to short.
2) the game pad struck out as it mainly displays a (useless?) giant horn button. Would've rather had something functional like a rear view on game pad.

I'm all for the adapter. But if it is made a requirement for GameCube VC it will be a step backwards and a disappointment.

Wii Sports Club needs to be completely free for all current Wii U owners. The original 4 sports should also be unlocked, free, and included in all future Wii U consoles.

I love the bonk series. This game looked a bit too generic. I would like to see a new bonk with a graphical style that resembles the new duck tales game. I also think he'd be a good smash bros addition .

I've done nothing but complain about Wii U VC since they've only rereleased games from Wii. That said, having never played a game boy advance before, I have been very happy with the GBA games released. Admittedly, I was very skeptical about GBA released on WiiU. I have downloaded metroid fusion and yoshis island and they are both superb. I look forward to Wario 4 and more GBA games.

Maybe they can squeeze Kenny , Ernie, and sir charles into the game.
