So hard to choose 1 game when so many are amazing. My favorites:

Bayonetta 3
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak
Splatoon 3
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (Yes, despite the bugs. The game is fun)

@Cronodoug The game is not bad. In fact, its core gameplay mechanics is so fun that many AAA games don't provide such experience when they focus too much on immersion. Games are fun not simply cuz of graphics and immersion or Switch won't be so popular. Most people really don't care that much about frame-rates too.

Having said this, I still think they should straighten out the issues.

Been really enjoying the new Pokemon despite the occasional lag and surface clip-throughs. The core gameplay mechanics is surprisingly fun.

@Zuljaras I totally agree. Amongst specs race, DRM, achievement addiction, microtransactions and all other distractions, Switch actually brought back the most core aspect of gaming, fun.

@Bydlak Same here. The original suits the style better in my opinion. I'm also not a fan of the foggy look that may or may not related to RT.

@the_beaver I agree, I'd choose portability and accessibility over horsepower too.

There're PS5, Xbox and even PC so I really don't need another "high spec" console.

@Tendogamerxxx While I don't really support cloud gaming (not until there's major breakthrough in internet across THE WORLD), I don't think just boosting the specs of Switch is the solution here.

You need to see from developers' point of view too and the resources that they need to develop for high end consoles.

Tried it and even with my fiber cable, the game still freezes at times that I find it pretty annoying.

Also there's no motion control to aim. -.-

I'd rather they focus on making good games than distractions like themes and folders.

The black and white themes are elegant and minimal.

I just got it today and I'm pretty surprised by how well it runs and its short loading screen.

It's still daunting to new players like me but I could already feel how fun the game is.

Both formats have their distinct pros and cons. There's no need to trash one over the other.

@Anti-Matter what has it got to do with the digital format? They are removed from ESHOP not from your SD card, not like they have the ability to do so.

This is like worrying about not able to play box copies if retailers stop selling them.

@TJWorks It's mainly due to manufacturing cost instead of marketing. The major price drop comes from not spending money on some parts.
