We've added the pokemon sword and shield one to our household. And we'll probably add the inevitable animal crossing one as well.

I picked it up to support them and it went straight into the backlog while I played DQ11 and it'll sit there while I play pokemon shield. But once the semester ends and I have a bit of extra time I'll get started on it.

Finally! Now I have a game to look forward to before Animal Crossing 😀

I think the switch will be just fine because it isn't just a home console. The 3ds didn't suffer because it wasn't getting multiplat 3rd party games.

@Kidfunkadelic83 not in N.A we only just got the gold one announced for this region in the last month or so. The staff at my local eb games was kind enough to let me know so I'd have the chance to swap my preorder

Honestly the leaks got me more excited than the stuff nintendo was showing us. Got the double pack and the switch lite pre ordered

Well I'm still excited to spend some time with some new Pokemon in a new region

I hope we get the discount for Dragon Quest VIII in North America

The switch lite will do just fine come the holiday season. My other half is gonna be grabbing the pokemon edition and I'm waiting to see if we get an animal crossing one next year. That's when the lite will really shine
