Re: Feature: So, What Happened To Super Mario Galaxy 2?

As someone already said in the comments, they had already made a HD remaster of Galaxy 1 for the Nvidia Shield in China with altered controls. So it was basically already made, they were too lazy/penny pinching to port the sequel as they could get away with just the first game in the collection.

@sj33 Ok if that's the case, they developed a Model 1 emulator for Virtua Racing, so where's Virtua Fighter? They developed a Y Board emulator for G-Loc Air Battle, so where's Power Drift & Galaxy Force I & II? They developed Outrun, so where's Super Hang On?
If they stopped Sega Ages due to poor sales well they've only themselves to blame with poor choices in games, giving us the same games we've been buying since the Wii shop days.

What a wasted opportunity. Didn't Sega hold an online poll a couple of years back asking fans what games they'd want to see ported? Jet Set Radio came top if I'm not mistaken, but they ignored the results and continued releasing the same old arcade & mega drive games they've released in the past. Why bother? Pure laziness. I think the only reason we got Virtua Racing was because M2 had already started porting it for the 3DS.
Maybe there's still hope in his comments, I'd love to see that Daytona port from PS3, JSR from Vita, etc... But I wouldn't hold my breath, Sega don't seem interested in making money.
