Thats my Christmas sorted, who needs Mario Kart 9 for the Holidays!

This is actually a great idea, my eyesight isn't what it used to be so I'd actually think of buying this.

@thinkhector yes porting the android versions would have been better. They're not perfect but they're far better than what we got.

This is embarrassing, the Vita version looks better and actually has shadows under the cars. Having played a good bit of the San Andreas 'definitive edition' on Switch, I can confirm it's just awful. I stole a plane and flew around the map at low altitude, the massive pop-in and frame drops make it nearly unplayable. And also the much discussed pop-in of cars while driving is crazy, they can sometimes appear out of nowhere. How a multi-billion dollar company can release this cr*p is beyond me, I'lll never digitally pre-order a game again.

Currently playing San Andreas, it's running OK for me so far, but I haven't started any hectic mission (but I did notice certain scenes very dark). I'm angry Rockstar got my money for this half-assed effort, but I'll try to enjoy the games best I can.

The one glaring omission is no shadows, even the PS2 original had shadows. Baffling.

Not much of a holiday season if you're not a fan of Jrpgs. Can't wait for Kirby in the new year, looks great.

I've pre-ordered this, can't wait to replay them after all these years. But the lack of shadow under the motorbike is a bit disturbing!

The pricing structure for these cloud versions is completely wrong. They should be £20 for 2 months play, then it disappears off your Switch forever. This gives you plenty of time to play and finish a game you'll never actually own. If this was the case I would actually consider 'buying' Control.

@fafonio True! Nintendo seem to be not counting the Wii U as a generation (it's when I first bought Maria Kart 8).

A 2nd Mario Party game on Switch gives me hope for Mario Kart 9! (even though there is none)

Played one of these in co-op with my wife, it was great fun.

One of the best gaming experiences of my adult life was experiencing Odyssey spoiler-free for the first time. I'd love a sequel on Switch!

I bought it so I could play Yoshi 64 and Kirby 64.... then realised Kirby isn't even on it yet!

I put a screen protector on straight away, as I've done with all my past Switches. There's a great kit available that comes with a frame to place over the Switch that guides the protector perfectly when fitting it.

Day 1 purchasr. I played and finished all 3 back in the PS2 days. Can't wait for this, Vice City is the best!

After the dissapointing Art of Rally and the great Rush Rally Origins, this will be on my radar. I love top down racers.

Sold my V2 Switch on ebay and finally got my hands on an OLED an hour ago. I mainly play handheld so this was well worth the upgrade, beautiful screen and great kickstand. The whole thing just feels more premium, for instance the joycons fit tighter. I'm glad I upgraded.

I thought I could easily pick one up today without pre-ordering, I thought wrong!

Mario Kart 9: World Tour

@reyaskcin Grid is great, but I'm not a massive fan of the impersonal linear career mode. I'd have loved a garage set up where you buy your own cars and tune them, like Gran Turismo, Forza Horizon, etc..

Oh dear another rubbish racing port. Thank god for Cruis'n Blast, but would still love to see a Forza Horizon type racer on Switch. The closest we have is Need For Speed.

Also getting some Sensi vibes off this, might risk it for a fiver.

Buying a Switch OLED the day it releases. I play mostly handheld, with my aging eyesight this is perfect for me. Going to replay Odyssey to bring back memories of first buying the Switch.

Played it for a few hours, it's great! There's a multipart interview with the developer on Gamexplains YouTube channel. They ask him about lack of online multilayer and he hesitated but admited that they wouldn't have made the deadline. He said if the game sells well they'd love to add online and DLC tracks & cars. Here's hoping it sells bucketloads as it would be a great online game.

I always hated that blowing mechanic in the game, it ruined the flow and just felt completely out of place.

@Pikman I still play Blur & Split/Second to this day, absolute arcade classics the both of them. They don't make 'em like they used to...

Having played and loved the PS4 version, it's quite a graphically demanding game. I will be interested to see how the Switch Port turns out.

Macho Nacho does some of the best gameboy mods on youtube, love his work. This looks great, I may try it myself on one of my IPS SP's.

I forgot about this! I wasn't impressed with Art of Rally at all, ignoring the massive graphic downgrade the controls were a bit too floaty for me. As a huge fan of Rush Rally 3 I'll be buying this today, as i love top down racers. Do NintendoLife add the price? I can never see it.

A reliable leaker has stated that there is still a new Donkey Kong game coming out sooner rather than later, so fingers and toes crossed!

Brilliant game on PS4, bit concerned how it will port to the Switch, its proper AAA.

A port of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed would be prefered, an absolute classic game. Sonic Team Racing was a strange step backwards for the series.

i loved the craziness of the Gameboy Micro, I had 3 at one stage but sold them all (including a mint boxed famicom edition!). I missed it so much I recently bought a silver one for cheap.

Great news, I love hong Kong, one of my favourite places on earth. Bit concerned how this will run on the Switch, might just pick up the Xbox version instead.

Slick, I shall stupidly be buying this along with the white OLED Switch at Christmas.

I will be selling my Switch to get this beauty day of release as I mostly play handheld.... mostly

@Brownmonster as someone said above, Sonic Transformed beats MK8 in single player, hands down. Its one of the greatest Kart racers ever and I still play it on PC to this day. Well done!

Dream come true! Rush Rally 3 is one of the best racing games on Switch, and I love me some top down racing.

I held off getting the PS4 version for a Switch Port, will be hoping to get my hands on this tomorrow from a local retailer. I was obsessed with the 2nd game on the PS1, never actually played the 1sr game.

I was really hoping for a big Holiday game like Mario(2D or 3D) or Donkey Kong. But we get Pokemon again?(no interest in Pokemon or JRPGs in general). Is this the 3rd time we've got Pokemon games for the Holiday? It's a bit disappointing, but other than that it's good line-up.

This is starting to shape up well and I am very tempted now....

@TheWingedAvenger I agree. And Need For Speed Hot Pursuit is also a great Arcade Racer on Switch.
