Anyway, excited about this update! I have all the themes including all the special ones, plus well over 200 points I don’t know what to do with, so I hope there’s something new to spend them on as well!

My 3DS has a permanent circle scratched into the top right corner of the touch screen because of this game! I would LOVE a sequel!!

Honestly I’ve always hated playing Picross with touch controls. It feels imprecise. Obviously the more options, the better to please everyone, but I’m happy as is.

Smashketball was my main reason for getting Smash Ultimate, and I was horrified to find out there wasn’t a stage builder at launch. So happy now!

I’m afraid that’s what clothes not made by children actually cost. Those are all embroidered and not print. When a t-shirt is under 10€, it’s pretty much guaranteed to be terrible for the environment and human rights in some part of the world.

I think you’ve explained your point quite clearly, but take a minute to listen to what others are saying. Just because they don’t agree with you doesn’t mean they’re not listening.

Mario was introduced in Donkey Kong right off the bat as a decidedly straight character. His prize was Pauline and there was a heart to confirm his straightness. It’s so normal that people don’t think it’s outright sexuality, but it is. Every Mario game since has referenced his straightness in some way, and so, yes, representation becomes important. I know some exist in more recent years, but Birdo is literally the only trans video game character I can name. That means a lot to the LGBTQ community, where if they throw us a bone, it will be a feeding frenzy. So, yes, all things being equal, it shouldn’t be a thing, but things are not equal because we get “everybody is straight” thrown at us constantly and some of us notice that as much as you notice people going nuts about Birdo.

Your point of view is not invalid, but I don’t think you’re putting yourself in our shoes and seeing it from our angle. If it doesn’t affect your life one way or the other, then let us have our trans Birdo because it makes a huge difference for us.

I'm so happy you have someone new doing videos! I honestly couldn't stand "hello all you lovely people" anymore. I'm sure Alex has his fans, but I'm glad he's no longer exclusive.

FYI: I downloaded this on my Japanese 3DS and when I streetpassed with my North American 3DS, it said I had recently played Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure. So, English title confirmed?

I know it's ridiculous but I'm just so mad about this. I can't help it. I want a standard new 3DS and I can't have one. It's driving me crazy!

Yeah I'm pretty disappointed. The thing is I prefer the 3DSXL to the 3DS, because I think the original is poorly designed, but I much prefer the New 3DS to the New 3DSXL because it fixes everything that was wrong with the original and I found the XL too big. I was so excited about this—without a doubt a first-day purchase—and now I'm just going to wait. I don't want to spend money on a new system if it's not the one I want.

I imagine they're like the Smurfs. The genderless majority can mysteriously procreate without "females", but then there's Smurfette (who was created by Gargamel), who I guess just likes to be more feminine, despite also not really having a gender.

I understand how juvenile this sounds, but is the logo, especially considering its placement in front of the character, striking anyone else as a bit phallic?

The first Gargoyle's Quest was a GB game, not a port. It didn't have an NES port as far as I can tell. Gargoyle's Quest II was NES, but then had a GB port in Japan only. So the VC releases are the original or only releases.

I'm excited to finally play this, but if it comes to the west, I really hope they add support for same-sex relationships (having removed them and calling it a bug in Japan). It would be a glaring omission if not.

Having downloading games is a HUGE benefit for people who live abroad. My Wii U and 3DS are North American, and I live in Europe. Having access to the eshop saves me a fortune in customs fees! I also have a Japanese 3DS and love being able to purchase "import" titles on the eshop. For me it's digital all the way!

I don't care that much about this game and I won't boycott because I'm angry, but the fact is I would've bought it now because there aren't a lot of games, and that won't be the case in September, so they've most likely lost my sale. I've never played a Rayman game and this looks good, but if I'm faced later with Pikmin 3 or Wind Waker vs. this, that's too bad for them. I think it's a pretty bogus business decision and I feel for the developers.
