Launching next week on Nintendo Switch is What The Golf?, a very silly, lighthearted golf parody game that looks ideal for nights in with friends or family.
Described as "the golf game for people who hate golf", each new course in this physics-based golf game consists of an entirely new and surprising way to play the sport. Some are vaguely similar to the real thing, but checking out the new trailer above shows plenty of games that look absolutely bonkers.
"Bring your car to the driving range, golf a bird to get a Birdy, or a house and get a Home In One!," the game's eShop listing says. We don't mind if we do.

We've got a selection of screenshots for you below, but you should definitely check out the trailer above to truly understand whats going on. We particularly like Toaster and Burger Bird.
The game's launching on Switch on 21st May with a brand new two-player party mode, available first on Nintendo's platform. You can pre-order it from the eShop right now at 25% off the regular $19.99 USD / €19.99 / £17.99 price tag.
Does this look like your kind of thing? Looking forward to having some crazy What The Golf? moments in the near future? Tell us below.

Wtf did I just watch.
This one looks really promising
With Star Wars Racer delayed I think I will buy this one next week
Hoping the 14th May announcement for PGA 2K20 will cater for my virtual golfing needs rather than this and the numerous mini golf games available for switch. Please come to nintendo switch.
Awaiting confirmation.
I played this on iOS. Its excellent. Highly recommend this!!
"but you should definitely check out the trailer above to truly understand"
I did this. I still don't understand.
I wanted this but don’t feel like having an Apple arcade subscription, so great it comes to switch
Damn this looked way better than what I had expected.
I have the game on Apple Arcade, and it's a lot of fun! The levels get really crazy and there's a ton of levels and missions. I do feel it works better as a pick-up-and-play portable game, but I definitely think it's worth getting if you're in the mood for something goofy.
This game is really fun. The levels are the perfect size and are different enough to not make it tedious. One of the best games on the Apple Arcade.
What The Golf rules on iOS. It’s gonna be great on Switch too.
I'm assuming that's local only multiplayer, not online.
Been keeping up with this one since the first announcement, and I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on it.
@kemosabii
Doesn't say anywhere on their website or in the trailer that it has online, so let's assume not. :-/
This game is awesome! Played it on PC and really had a blast.
Over-prices for what it is IMO.
But, I also didn’t really enjoy it on Apple a arcade either. I felt the physics were too inconsistent. I agree with the other person who said it’s better suited as a very quick pick-up and play game. The sort of pick-up and play when you wouldn’t necessarily have your Switch to hand.
Let me tell ya, folks...
That's Golf
This game is great and deserves some more success on Switch.
This game was awesome! I love the little homages to Katamari, Mario, Super Hot, etc
@Pod eShop listing seems to confirm as much. For NSO, the only thing stated this game supports is save data cloud, no mention of online play.
What the “something” after watching that trailer. Lol. Madness
Looks like a real party! I'm finding it hard to imagine it as a mobile game - what's the point without local multiplayer?
I played this at SXSW last year.
It is excellent.
Haha looks wacky and fun. Is there a 'story'?
