It's been a busy old week in the world of Nintendo, with a brand new Smash fighter, more retro NES and SNES goodness on Switch, and even a very random update for a game that was practically discontinued seven years ago, but now it's finally time to have a sit down and relax.
Members of Nintendo Life have discussed their weekend gaming plans below, and we'd love for you to join in with your own entries via our comment section. Enjoy!

With the arrival of the holiday Switch eShop sale, I picked up I Am Dead, Evergate and Florence and I’d love to give them each a fair shake before Monday when I’m looking to set my Game of the Year picks in stone. There have been so many great indie releases this year that it’s been a struggle to keep up. I’m also falling in love with Dicey Dungeons, which could easily soak up every spare minute if I let it.
Then there’s TT Isle of Man 2. I’ve got my custom control layout sorted and I’m slowly improving – now I only drop the bike five or six times a lap compared to eating tarmac on every single corner. To be fair, I am using manual and it’s the pleasure of riding that’s keeping me engaged rather than winning races. Just as well, really.
Have a fantastic holiday if you’re celebrating, folks. If you’re not, well, still have an excellent time! That’s an order.

Hi friends! So you'll no doubt have seen that Horace went on sale recently; like many others, I immediately snapped it up and will be playing through it this weekend. Based on just a short session with it so far, I'm finding it to be a charming game with excellent controls, so I'm looking forward to diving into it a bit more and seeing what it's all about!
As we're nearly at the end of this wretched, wretched year, I'm also revisiting a few gaming highlights, including Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2, and Streets of Rage 4. We've had a few nice things this year at least, haven't we? Have a good one, folks!

Hello. This weekend I’m getting to grips with the phenomenon that is Among Us for review purposes. My son is absolutely obsessed with this game so he’s showing me the ropes and I’m quite looking forward to discovering what all the excitement and hype is about. Elsewhere I’ll be digging around in the current eShop sale looking for some bargains – I’ve already grabbed the excellent Horace for the ludicrous price of one pound – and I’ll also be continuing to relax with my selection of Xmas replays, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze will be completed by holiday’s end, and I mean it this time! Hope you all have a great weekend, whatever you’re up to and stay safe out there.

I have begun my daily routine of Fitness Boxing 2 and the weekend is no excuse to stop, aiming for another 300+ days marathon in 2021. If you owned a Commodore Amiga you will not be surprised to find The Bluecoats: North & South is on my list, along with a few other late arrivals like Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin and Cloudpunk. But I am mostly still playing GameCube, I hope by Monday to have cleared Moria and make it to Helm’s Deep in The Lord of The Rings: The Third Age. Now if only I can get this Latin earworm out of my head: Estuans interius, Ira vehementi, Estuans interius, Ira vehementi... somethingroth?
My game of the week is DOOM Eternal. Sure, late to the party on this one, but better late than arriving in a miserable broken state. My congratulations to everyone at Panic Button, these will be some real bloody holidays.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave us a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

My plan was to play through Food Girls while playing a bit of Dicey Dungeons here and there in between but so far it’s been more like the other way around because I’m having too much fun with Dicey Dungeons.
1. Vampyr on the Switch.
2. World of Warcraft
3. Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Horn of the Abyss
Steamworld Heist.
Started yesterday and having so much fun so far
Also got the £1 Horace deal so will crack that open! Otherwise will be dabbling in Hades, Capitan Toad and Witcher 3.
Probably just some Smash and AC this weekend. Also ordered Hyrule Warriors as a last minute gift for myself. Have a good one folks!
1.Among us
2.Okami
3.Enter the gungeon.
Warframe, Skyrim, either or both of the Xenoblades, plus some of the recently acquired stuff including Dead Or School and BE-A Walker. Diabolical Curse and Luxor respectively on everyone's favourite clamshells as well. Likely some Morphite.
Doom Eternal (PC)
Doom 2016 (Switch)
Overwatch (Switch)
Doom online over Zdaemon on the PC
Mortal Kombat 4 (PC)
I played these games in the morning.
1. Dance Dance Revolution MAX 2 USA PS2
2. Sly Cooper Collection PS3
3. Dance Dance Revolution Konamix PS1
I was very busy from 9 am until 4 pm to finish my calendar 2021 projects so i played for a while in the morning then continue again after dinner time.
I started over again for DDR MAX 2 as last time i accidentally corrupted my PS2 Memory card and i have to reformat again. 😭
I unlocked some songs from DDR Konamix. For Sly Cooper, i played Sly 2 and still in mission on episode 6.
After dinnertime, i will play Animal Crossing New Horizons as i have made appointment to open my gate for my friend visitation.
Black sigil: blade of the exiled. A very underrated jrpg on the original ds.
Funny, I just started playing Horace last night. I’m enjoying the story and humor even more than I thought I would. Lots of actual laughs so far. It is definitely my game for the weekend with some Yo-Kai Watch 3 and Pokemon Conquest in between.
I've started mh3u on wiiu
This week I will be mostly playing
Super Sephiroth Bros Ultimate
Age of Calamity
Monster Sanctuary has been my main go to lately with some bouncing around between Sakuna, Age of Calamity, and Outer Worlds.
@BongoBongo Just like walking into Mordor, one does not simply dabble in Witcher 3 or Hades, 😂. Great list though! Good luck not getting fully absorbed in any of those!
@feguy I’ve done the same, except I started it again on the 3DS. Never finished it originally, only getting to HR8. Plan to sink at least 150hrs in it before I retire it this time.
@Snatcher
Honestly for me
1. Enter The Gungeon
2. Enter The Gungeon
3. maybe something else.
I just like seeing someone mention Enter The Gungeon, haha
Yesterday I finished the Seven Sirens. Shantae is great! I think this might be the best in the series, I only wish it was longer.
Rocket League, I want the new sweater skin.
And tonight I will enjoy a concert by K.K.
Happy gaming everyone!
Cyperpunk on stadia, Mario Odyssey and thronebreaker on Switch
just a loooot of puyo puyo tetris 2
I'm on a switch binge. Just finished Dragonball fighterz, Catherine, grandia 2 and star ocean.
Now after a lot of short games planning to finally dive into Dragon quest 11. Wish me luck!
Horace! It's such an amazing game and I really wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is. Up there with Sonic Mania and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze for my favourite Switch 2D platformers but it feels like much more than a mere platformer with such a rich storyline. At £1 or $2 at the moment it's really a must have! May well be my GOTY.
I'll also be playing some Donkey Kong Country 3 which I'm playing for the first time as I'd already moved on to PS1/N64 by 1996. Probably some Mario 35 too as I still have 7 levels to unlock and maybe some Mario Galaxy which I'm also playing through for the first time. As you can see platformers are my special interest.
I might play some Switch Among Us too and Words with Friends on my mobile.
Persona 3 is now finished. Great game, and I quite enjoyed the final boss even if he did take a long time to beat. Since then I've been continuing to plough through Demon's Souls. I think I'm probably entering the final few stages of the game now.
I bought SMT: Strange Journey Redux in the sale so will also be starting that on 3DS, as well as continuing on with Pokemon Black.
Alien: Isolation.
I'd got stuck when I was playing a few months ago. Making room for new downloads, I thought I'd give it one last try and breezed through to the next save point this time. Close to the end now, so should get it finished this weekend.
A lot of Xenoblade 2 I hope!
Cyberpunk 2077 & Animal Crossing
I finally completed Conker's Bad Fur Day last weekend... I haven't raged at a game for so long!
This weekend trying to complete the equally frustrating Dead Cells and in-between the inevitable deaths from that game, Amongs Us.
Been playing Doom zero can’t get enough of it also bought a Hori split pad pro yesterday the analog sticks are a massive improvement over the ones on the joycons even broke some of my own records on Mario kart 8 dx can’t see me ever going back to the standard joycons unless I really have to
Shovel knight on the Wii U
My usual Spelunky 2 runs on PC are about it there. Busy work week. For Switch: some Dicey Dungeons.
Hunt: Showdown christmas event all weekend long!
EDIT: Oh, and trying my darnest to build the most perfect snowboy in Animal Crossing.
Darkest Dungeon (top priority), Dicey Dungeons and Picross S5. But given the current Xmas sale and the constant praise for Horace that I'm seeing, I'll finally have a look and see what the fuss is all about.
@Shadeon_Koopa Horace was a fun time! It's definitely not a 10/10 game, more like 8/10. Some frustrating physics and camera behavior and technical issues marred the experience. It lacks the polish of a true 10/10. But it was pretty great.
Dirt 5. Don't think it even got into the charts but probably the best racing game of the year. Amazing new Dizzy game on the ZX Spectrum. Takes me back to being a teenage gamer many years ago. Definitely waiting for the PS5 version of Cyberpunk.
@BongoBongo Nice to see Captain Toad mentioned on here for once! It's on my 2021 to buy list. I loved the demo!
@GingerNinja Ohh, I need to play the new Dizzy when I get around to buying a retro emulation console (I don't really like playing on my laptop, only my TV) I said to The Oliver Twins it would be great if they put it on Switch in the future but no response.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Mega Man X7 (Playing through all the mega man games with a buddy)
Some Metal Gear Solid on the PS1 and Cybermorph on the Atari Jaguar as I'm on a retro binge, then to follow I'll be delving deep into the Sega Saturn's fantastic library
I think I'd better finish Atelier Ryza soon since the sequel is coming, so I'll spend at least a few hours slaving over a hot alchemy cauldron today.
@Clyde_Radcliffe I bought El Capitan recently but I should have got it ages ago! One of the most chilled games on switch and up there with the Mario games in quality
Halo: Spartan Assault (Windows Phone) - Near the final mission now.
Flowerz (Windows Phone) - Also about to wrap this one up as well.
Cut the Rope: Experiments (Windows Phone) - About halfway on this one, I keep going back and trying for three stars.
@Quimbolas the best steamworld game in my opinion. Enjoy
Grindstone! This game is dope.
@Anti-Matter ‘open my gate for my friend visitation’.......is that a euphemism?
I just had my first playthrough of Limbo. A bit dark for my taste, but still got me intrigued for Inside, so my weekend will be getting through that. Among some journeying in The Outer Worlds.
1. Cyberpunk on my Series X.
2. BotW - Started a new save file. This is my all time favorite game.
3. Horace - Thanks to the sale and the stellar review on this site.
@BongoBongo Yeah the demo felt very chilled and I was impressed with how you had to really use the camera to solve the puzzles in it. Quite an unusual play style.
Probably messing about in Smash with “SEFF-EE-ROTH!” and continuing to do Christmas things in ACNH. I’m trying out Doom Eternal on Xbox One with the last month of my Game Pass, might grab the Switch one later if I like it (gyro and portable are big selling points for me!)
Donkey Kong Country 3 for me. It's the last DKC game I havent beaten, so it seems like a nice way to wrap up 2020. I'm actually enjoying it far more than DKC 2 so far, contrary to popular opinion. Let's hope it keeps this pacing. Other than that, probably more Arcade 1ups with my wife. Maybe even a bit of my copy of Wayne Gretzkys 3D Hockey that I picked up days ago (I've been having a blast with NBA Hangtime, and now I want to get back into some arcade-y sports titles that I grew up with).
ACNH. Maybe I'll start Calico. More Wandersong. Also Bravely Default II demo.
Still playing xenoblade chronicles. I'm currently at the fallen arm.
Only a couple hours into FE 3 Houses and looking to make some progress with that.
Also playing through NSMB with my wife and having a great time with it. Could never get into it on the WiiU but but for some reason the Switch version clicked for both of us.
Resident Evil Revelations on my 3DS XL with Circle Pad Pro attached. Got the game on PS3, PS4 and Switch too, but have played it way more on my 3DS's.
I'm planning to go back to play the Switch version once I'm "finished" (never gonna be finished with the game, it's just too good) with the 3DS version, as Raid mode is different in the HD versions.
For me, it'll be:
1) Smash Bros (I beat the Sephiroth Challenge on very hard yesterday, so I look forward to trying him out)
2) Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble
3) Among Us (Wanna see what the fuss is about)
4) Horace (Been meaning to get this forca while now and at that price, I have no excuses)
Played a bit of Smash with Sephiroth. Like him so far, good addition. The new stage is a bit bland though. Planning to try some of the new titles on the SNES/NES services too. Never heard of some of them but don't mind giving them a go for free.
1: Cyberpunk 2077 (PC)
2: AC Valhalla (PC)
3: Doom Eternal (PC)
4: Dicey Dungeons (SWITCH)
5: Immortals Fenyx Rising (SWITCH)
This weekend will be something like:
1 Dragon Quest XI
2 Ultra SF II
3 a little Clubhouse Games
I also picked up and am surprised more and more by Horace each minute!
I'm gonna continue on getting 100% on my Wolfenstein 2 save files. It's quite a tedious process. I have to do one run to get all the collectibles, of which there are a ton, and max out my perks. Then I have to do another run to create a save at the start of each mission with full ammo, grenades, hatchets, and armor. Three of the perks prevent me from doing it my first time through because they affect how much ammo, grenades, and hatchets you can carry. For my final run, I'm gonna try maxing out those three perks and starting over instead of doing a full run to max them out and getting all collectibles and then starting over. All of this because Wolfenstein 2 doesn't have a simple level select for some reason. And I'm doing it for both timelines in the game on both Switch and PS4. Completed the Switch version last night though so all I have to work on now is the PS4 version. After that, I'm gonna 100% Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and Wolfenstein: The New Order on PS4. Probably will then try to 100% Youngblood after all of that.
@Alexface how was Star Ocean? Been looking at it for awhile since it reminded me of Lunar and now that it's on sale considering giving it a try.
I finished Horace last week... oh boy, the MOST OVERRATED GAME on Nintendolife. It’s a painfully dull slog of tedious small levels. It’s a 5/10 at best.
I just picked up on a sale Pumpkin Jack. Nintendo Life gave it a great review and I have to say I can confirm the accuracy of that review all right. The game took me by surprise and very fun! Highly recommend if you're looking for a good old school 3D platformer. I'll be finishing that up this weekend.
On a side note about Pumpkin Jack they just released a Christmas update to the game. They gave Jack a Santa outfit which makes the levels snowing and there's Christmas snowmen. Also they added presents to find to unlock Jack's letters to Santa in each level. They're pretty funny to read. A good reason to revisit the game to those that have already played through.
Clannad and undertale. Have a nice weekend guys!
Rocket League ranked 3s, 1s, Dropshot.
@dugan I just completed the Frosty Fest challenges. The 20 assists challenge took way longer than expected, having strange drought of teammates that aren't looking for passes. I was looking forward to getting the Fireworks boost reward, but found it to surprisingly distracting while playing - didn't expect that.
On the side I've watched a few Rizzo Live replay reviews on youtube.
Dicey Dungeons, Grindstone and Slay the Spire for me this weekend. Maybe a spot of Dead Cells, too!
@Paranoid_Android I enjoyed it. If you like classic SNES JRPGs you should enjoy it. It's not the best but also not bad - probably a 7/10.
SMASH BRETHREN.
Hoping to finish Spyro Year of the Dragon this weekend. Also playing Pang Adventures on Switch which is really addictive with the game being a blend of puzzle and action, two player online play would've been great for this.
@Aispen I keep meaning to play Oracle of Ages, was thinking a remake like Link's Awakening might happen soon but not sure I'm willing to wait.
Animal Crossing New Horizons as usual. Also started Breath of Fire II on the SNES app. Random encounters are eery few steps and music is very generic but the story and rpg elements are fun.
Some retro gaming for me this weekend. Already played some Wing Commander Privateer this morning, doing some missions. Planning to play later today or tomorrow, Sonic Mega Collection for Sonic 3D Blast. Can't really explain why, I just enjoy playing this one every Christmas season.
Chilling into red dead 2 again , started from scratch and now got to the open world so just exploring. A chapter of Kentucky route zero later then maybe a level or 2 of Yoshi island. I can feel it calling me again xxxx
Animal crossing
The walking dead
Mario Galaxy
Picross
Skyrim
Dong 3 and Animal Crossing, that's about it for me
Also jumped on the Horace train, and... it’s quite something. An ambitious, sprawling, meticulously crafted, quaint, audacious and astonishingly bold explosion of a video game. I’m flabbergasted it could even come into being, such is the dedication to its idiosyncrasies.
I can’t say I’d universally recommend it. It feels like someone has approached the entire field of ‘video games’ with a view to turn it into a single mixed-media interactive art installation. Like the medium of ‘games’ has been deconstructed and then sprayed against the wall with a geyser-like blast emanating from the head of single zany British geezer with a penchant for Douglas Adams. A geezer-geyser kind of game.
I can’t promise you’ll like it, but for £1 I’d certainly recommend that those curious about it take a dip in its hallucinogenic waters.
Animal Crossing and Final Fantasy 7.
The lack of a poll is (still) disturbing.
I'm still exploring, killing baddies, completing Shrines, cooking food galore, breaking gear, and eventually saving Hyrule in my first Breath of the Wild run. I absolutely LOVE this game!
BotW is taking up most of my gaming time, but I'm still getting in some Pushmo on 3DS and playing a little Pokemon Go on occasion. I'm also going through a few old Flash game favorites in my spare time before Adobe officially pulls the plug at the end of the month. Not all of them have been/will be converted, so I want to get them in for old time's sake (I played a lot of these in high school/college. XD)
Happy gaming!
I decided to jump back into smash last night and play through WoL. It's been forever. Forgot how much fun it actually is.
Also playing a ton of FFX and little bits of others games for a few minutes here and there
I haven't touched anything on my Switch for a while, too many video meetings and too much work since they halved the workforce in September due to covid budget restraints, I now do the work of three people not including private jobs...but I'm off until the 5th so I can see me rinsing it for the next few weeks, I want to pick up Pure Pool tomorrow plus see what else I've missed on the eshop.
Witcher 3 on pc. Just finished some ac. Started Ys viii. Most like that will be the gist. I'm off for 16 days and baught Ys, mario kart 8, tales of vesperia, Hades, darksiders and more. Plan to just game watch xmas movies and keep quarratined from today on.
I've played a LOT over the past 48 hours. Did a weekly check-in on my island in New Horizons. Like some other people, I am also playing Among Us a lot. I returned to Starlink and ScreenCheat after not touching either in quite a bit. Got WRC 8 from the eShop and I have been dipping my toes into it. I also recently got a copy of Origami King which I played for a few hours tonight.
Playing through Battle Chasers: Nightwar. Such a cool and unique RPG!
With both Donkey Kong Country 3 and Super Valis IV, available to play on the SNES app, I'll be playing those this weekend. While DKC3 might be the weakest of the Donkey Kong Country SNES games, it's still an enjoyable game to play. As for Super Valis IV, I've never played it before but I'm looking forward to checking it out, as it looked intriguing enough.
I'm also thinking of starting Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All as well, the first game in the trilogy was decent fun. Like always, I'll try and play some more Animal Crossing: New Horizons, at some point as well.
Still playing Hades and Ori 2. Both are so unbelievably phenomenal.
Also got Doom Eternal. Panic Button did an amazing job, but I think I like Doom 2016 more. Too many platforming sections in this game where you have no idea if you will land or not.
You guys just made me pickup Horace lol. I'll at least check it out later tn
I picked up Horace, Manticore and Blazing Chrome in the sale, I'll probably add a few more too, some very good deals on my wish list.
I won't be playing those just yet, still trying to beat Dragon Quest 11. Done the main story, I'm in the post game now, doing the sage quest.
I hope to have the main story of Hollow Knight wrapped up tonight maybe. I'm having that with a side of Guacamelee.
Bravely Default II demo for Switch and Gears Tactics for XB1. Getting rather close to clearing my backlog so a surprise general Direct next week would be appreciated (doubt it'll happen though).
I'm replaying the four main Rune Factory games including Tides of Destiny/Oceans on PS3. (It's pretty weird that Natsume put a port of it on Sony consoles even the franchise is a Nintendo exclusive before giving the franchise to Marvelous/XSeed.) Anyway, to catch up on the upcoming Rune Factory 5 storyline. This might be related especially to dragons.
@Zuljaras I was actually wondering, how is the port of Vampyre on Nintendo Switch? Is it pretty stable?
I will probably be playing some more Super Mario Party with my girlfriend as I try to collect all stickers and gems!
@RustedHero I have been wanting to play that one for a while now! It is right up my alley!
Currently playing No More Heroes 2 and Mario Rabbids! I'm hoping I can finish those two up before the year ends. Earlier this week I finished both Overcooked 2 and The Last Campfire (both were superb).
Hades, still. Am wondering if I am pretty much "done" with it, but I still feel like playing it. I think that the story elements are pretty much played out now, and I only have four fated prophecies left... but I will feel really sad to walk away from it! Such an amazing, sensationally designed game... a bit of a masterpiece, and my GOTY for sure.
I finally finished DQ11! I'M FREEEEEE! Now to finally work through some other games on my switch, like Kirby Star Allies and Doom 64
@Tyranexx I don’t mind the lack of poll, though I’d prefer there WAS one... I just wish someone would acknowledge the ongoing questions and explain why lol
I'm mostly playing Alwa's Awakening and sprinkling it in some play with the latest NES and SNES games.
@AmplifyMJ Lol I can live without it - it's not the end of the world if it never comes back - but I really do like looking at it to quickly see what games might be trending on here. At the very least, I'd also like an explanation as to why.
I am playing Yakuza Kiwami 2. (I intend to play through the whole series, and it’s time consuming)
Picked up Horace on the sale, since you people praise it so much and I must say that I am in love with it. Such a fantastic game. (Any game that has Raphael in its OST deserves absolute praise)
Doom Eternal. I can't get enough of it.
Trials of Mana. Bought it on sale and it exceeded my expectations. It runs really smooth and is a blast to play. And I even like it that it's not one of these gross jrpgs, I don't have time for another XC.
I’m still playing through Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and recently finished AI: The Somnium Files.
Mostly Fire Emblem Awakening, a little bit of Sackboy on the side.
I finally 100% completed Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity last night. Nothing else left to do. Completed everything on the map. Unlocked everything. Maxed out the levels of all of the characters, and at least 1 weapon for everybody. Found all of the Chests and Korok Seeds. etc. etc. Absolutely nothing left to do but to start a New Game and replay the entire thing all over again. I put about 110 hours into the game. Meanwhile, I have over 350 hours in Hyrule Warrios: Definitive Edition, and still have a LONG way to go to 100% that game.
But now that I'm 100% done with Hyrule Warrios: Age of Calamity, now I have other games to attend to.
Doom: Eternal
Immortals: Fenyx Rising
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered
Sniper Elite 4
Transformers: Battlegrounds
Cobra Kai
Pikmin 3 Deluxe
Paper Mario: The Origami King
Torchlight 3
Borderlands Collection
Super Mario 3D All-Stars
etc, etc..
Just to name a few. Not to mention to go back and play more of Hades, Clubhouse Games, Super Smash Bros., Among Us, Dead Cells, and a bunch of others. Perhaps another Swith playthrough of The Angry Video Nerd I & II games, just because. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
I just started on the 2nd arc in Rune Factory 4, but I’m going to slow it down and work on my farms for a while. Winter sucked and I am sick of looking at strawberries and carrots.
I just got Stardew Valley today as well. I have been on the fence about it for a long time. I’ve never taken so long to purchase a game I was interested in. Looks like it’s going to be great.
I might also get Farm Together. It looks cool and I’m in a farming mood!
@mcdreamer Oh man, I loved Persona 3. But that final boss was so long and boring I literally fell asleep.
I just finally got all the patches and files downloaded so I can play my disc version of Cyberpunk 2077. I'm a nomad and everything looks nice out in the desert on my PS4 Pro. I know it gets choppy in the city... I'm also playing Rocket League, KORG gadget, Grindstone, Fitness Boxing 1 & 2, Jump Rope Challenge, Shikaku Shapes, Kakurasu World (I've put 5 hours into this $1 puzzle game — love it!), Pixeljunk Eden 2, wipEout Omega Collection, West of Dead, Pikmin 3, Battle Garegga, and Minecraft Dungeons (love the 60fps it has on PS4 Pro). I've also switched jobs due to getting Covid-19 (got pretty damn sick)at my unsafe previous job. I'm still in healthcare, but at a safer facility.
@TheLightSpirit you don’t need a subscription to play games on Stadia. The service is free. You can buy Cyberpunk and use the hardware you have.
1.) Cyberpunk 2077 on Stadia
2.) DK Tropical Freeze
3.). Animal Crossing
I need to finish up Blood and Wine on The Witcher 3, might do that then get started on something else, probably Assassin's Creed Black Flag.
BOTW
MK8DX
Mario Odyssey
FE3H
SM3DAS
Paper Mario TOK
Virtua Racing
Fantasy Zone
Been playing Horace and Timespinner; really fun games so far. After that I'm finally going to play through Three Houses final route over the Christmas period.
I've been playing Skyrim on Switch, trying to level up my character (so close to Level 80) by maxing out my skill trees.
I plan on unlocking every perk in every skill tree before I continue with the main quest (as in, before "Dragon Rising," after which dragons start popping up everywhere).
I want to see if I can get so powerful that even Ancient Dragons or Legendary Dragons (which are two of the most powerful generic dragons in the game) would be a breeze.
The Walking Dead - Final Season and Star Wars Pinball, both on the Switch of course
@Grackler Love your avatar. Huge fan of the Horatio Hornblower movies and that actor is great in My Family!
Dragon Quest Builders (1). Got it on sale recently. Loving this game so far. Horace, just got it today on sale. Played first 3 chapters today. Lots of fun and so different. Really digging the story elements to this. And, keep going back to BOTW on my Wii U.
@dcstud thanks, yeah I love the TV show, got bought it years ago on DVD, and Robert Lindsey is a top actor. Actually finally read some of the book during lockdown 1; been tempted to get Assassin’s Creed 4 as a result!
Not much gaming time for me but have continued Secret of Mana.
@TheLightSpirit cyberpunk on stadia works well, besides the game's bugs that is. I also read that the 1.05 patch is nog coming this year for Stadia, which is a bummer. Got the controller and chromecast pro for free with purchasing cyberpunk so I'm not complaining at all.
I had an involuntary long weekend (aka I was stuck in quarantine from Thursday to Sunday) and the sudden urge to replay Pokemon S/M overcame me... I gave in and startet up Ultra Sun. For some reason, probably nostalgia for my last happy adolescence Pokemon adventure, I enjoy the last gen so much more than S/S. I also started playing Cattails (it's basically stardew valley with CATS and it's only 1,99 Euros on sale rn) and played some Taiko no tatsujin. Overall, a very game-y weekend.
Going to finish up Trials of Mana today or tomorrow then it’s Fire Emblem: Three Houses till I finish the game. My goals is to complete it before Mario 3D World comes out.
@Grackler I've tried hunting down My Family on DVD in the states for years. Think all I was ever able to find was series 1. Hornblower is not officially streaming anywhere, but someone posted a solo copy of all the movies on YouTube.
@dcstud they’re adding Hornblower to Britbox New Years Eve for what it’s worth; but as you say is all on YouTube! Don’t think My Family is on it I’m afraid....seems a bit useless given that getting those shows outside the UK is the point of the service!
@Grackler Thank you for letting me know. I looked into Brit Box earlier this summer, got busy and forgot about it. Need to check back into it again. I do wish I could find someplace streaming My Family. Hell, maybe I should check YouTube on that too.
Merry Christmas. Hope it's filled with joy!
