Ubisoft always has a sale! but Fenyx is looking pretty tempting at just 40 bucks...
I highly recommend Trials Rising. Such a fun game!
Is Mario + Rabbids ever NOT on sale? Always seems to be in Europe.
I can't wait for discount at the physical copies at my retailer!
I’ll never buy a ubisoft game for full price ever again. I can wait two weeks.
That's a very quick discount on IFR even for Ubisoft. I kinda feel bad for the people who just bought this for full price ... 2 weeks ago ... at launch.
Digitally bought Immortals day 1. Have no regrets. Really am enjoying it and don't feel bad it's discounted already. Just means others who were on the fence will grab it. Super game really!
I still love how Ubisoft games go on sale quickly. Now I have a reason to buy Immortals Fenyx Rising.
NAH MAYBE NEXT TIME.
@HotGoomba___Rebrand At this rate, give it 2 months and they'll pay us to play the game
mehhhhhhhhhhhh
I have a feeling immortals got kind of lost in the fray on other consoles. But for switch which doesn't have new assassin's creed games it really stands out.
Immortals Fenyx Rising did not get the best reviews, so this discount, I guess is to boost sales figures enough to get it into the sales charts.
@zool
I've seen good reviews of it. Gutted that I'd just bought it at full price and now could have saved £10!
Immortals is also at $39.99 at retailers like Target and Best Buy in the US this week for those looking for a physical copy instead.
Wheel of Fortune was the only one there I would have gotten (that I don't have) and it's not even on Sale in the UK
$40 is a great price for Fenyx. They have the same sale going on in the Microsoft store so I picked it up for the Series X.
From 2017 until a few weeks ago I've only had the Switch. What's interesting now is I have to start making decisions about what is more important to me: portability or visuals. In this case visuals won but I'm not sure that will be the case with everything going forward.
i want a discount for mmortal fenyx rising season pass
I'll probably get Immortals physical on sale. Those are great deals on eshop. Mario+Rabbids and Trials Rising are a steal. I've got 100 hours in Trials Rising.
Fenyx not on sale in Europe eshops yet
For those in the UK Immortals FR has dropped to £30 in Game for the physical version.
Might pick Uno up so we can play without having to shuffle the cards between games.
Come on Ubisoft... I need Stick of Truth to drop lower, you're pricing of this game remains uncompetitive to other platforms.
$24 for complete Starlink 😲 jump on that people! I had boat loads of fun with this game.
Say what you want, but there's some absolute quality content here at (almost) ridiculous prices, the Rebel Collection (especially AC4), Mario + Rabbids, the South Park games, Rayman Legends, Starlink, Child of Light, Valiant Hearts, that's a whol lot of good games at very decent prices. Immortals is definitely on my radar, but still out of my budget. Knowing Ubisoft, they'll soon enter my budget, maybe even with a physical gold edition once the DLC is released, and the DLC actually has me excited.
It’s just the same old list of titles at the same price every sale!
Ubis**t
In the UK in Tesco, ASDA and online at Amazon it is reduced to £30....... I got myself a lovely christmas gift haha
Ubisoft sales are so often and sometimes so good its never worth doing a day 1 purchase!
Immortals is more enjoyable that breath of the wild, there I said it.
@Friendly and EA.... I at least got $10 off. Is it worth it to buy any game full price? Unless it is Nintendo, which rarely go on sale, it’s just not worth it.
I always wait a year for Ubisoft games. The price drops to 20 or below and all the bugs are patched out. I salute the brave people that buy early making this possible for me.
Immortals discount doesn't show up indeed. Pretty much all the rest went live in the aforementioned 900+ crowd last week.
@Magonigal it was on Ubsoft website last week for 33% off plus another 21% at checkout bringing cost to £27. But they seem to have sold out now, even though the sale runs until 7 Jan and the offer was on physical and download.
How do you sell out of download copies?
I just feel sorry for anyone that bought immortals at launch
Hmm. I forgot that Valiant Hearts is on Switch. I need to get it.
I ebayed my immortals for $47 just two days ago. My buyer must be kicking themself
A 33% sale on a major Ubisoft game that released just weeks ago? I'm shocked
/s
This is why you don't buy games at launch.
Oh wait... dammit the sale is on Physical too for IFR... yep i feel shafted now.
Damn 😅
@ianl579 yeah that's the last time i get a Ubisoft game for full price at launch.
$20 off a game that came out 20 days ago?
Haha, wow. I'm sorry for everyone who bought it at full price, but at least this is a strong indicator ... that wasn't a lot of people.
Apologies if this comment offends but anyone who buys a Ubisoft game at launch / full price is either new to gaming or an idiot!
But don't worry as I've been that idiot. (In case you're interested it was Rayman Raving Rabbids for the Wii.)
@Eddyson
Worth every penny. Lovely game. Havent bought it yet, but played at my brothers house. Almost feels like a mix of kid icarus and zelda breath of the wild.
Not specifically into space games, and not at all interested in 'toys to life', I had never even heard of Starlink: Battle for Atlas until a couple of weeks ago when digital edition was on sale for $15. After some research and reviews, decided to take the plunge. Man, have I been pleasantly surprised. Really a fun game so far, with production values that rival BotW IMO.
With this discount I'm defo picking up immortals just before Xmas when I get paid.
A lot of great games for cheap prices here. Got most of the ones I want already, but Child of Light for that price is a steal and I haven't played it since the WiiU, so maybe. The soundtrack is one of my favourites ever! Happy holidays everyone
Only game I was interested in doesn't have a discount in Europe. (Immortals Fenyx Rising)
@daebiya doubt it; it’s just a $7 difference
@NorseGamerTommy
It doesn't have a discount in Europe?
Damn, I was gna pick it up.
Might have to finally purchase Fire Emblem Awakening...
I was going to get Immortals for my 8 year old for fiddy bones at Wal-Mart. THRILLED to snap it up for 39.00. My 8 year old poured 150 hours into BOTW. He's gonna eat this up.
I'll be picking up Immortals: Fenyx Rising for X-mas!
@Julien I got $10 off. I figured it would take at least a few months to see it drop to $40... oh well.
After trying out Immortals Fenyx Rising for roughly 30 minutes, I don't think I'll buy it for the apparent discounted price. The vibe that the story gives out just doesn't appeal to me, almost as if it was trying to be funny yet serious at the same time. I've had my fair share of Greek Mythology, but I certainly want a more serious tone when it comes to that sort of situation.
On this sale i finally bought Hades, Rogue Legacy and Horace for me, Overcooked 2 for me and my girlfriend. We'll also get Luigi's Mansion 3 as a gift, so pretty good christmas haul this year
@NathanTheAsian I guess you wouldn't like Kid Icarus Uprising. Still want that one to get some sort of remaster for Switch.
@aaronsullivan
I'd probably be a bit more lenient towards Kid Icarus, considering my biased opinion towards Sakurai.
I got Immortals Fenyx Rising Gold Edition for like $61 as I had some points saved up. It's a great game so far. I actually really like it. I like the funny story and game mechanics. Plus for $60 I'm getting a ton of content that will keep coming into 2021! It's funny as earlier that day I had bought the physical from Amazon for $43 I believe and I returned it as I was going to get the season pass but I didn't know it was $40! $99 for this game is way too much but $60 is worth it for sure.
Highly recommend fenyx rising, especially for $40
@WoomyNNYes
Target has it for 29.99
@Eddyson
Target has it for 29.99
@aaronsullivan "Kid Icarus Uprising"
I've been waiting 10 years to play Kid Icarus Uprising. My favorite game that I've never played. I thought it was a Wii game trailer when they first showed it at E3 - a good looking Wii game at that - and I've been waiting ever since to be able to play it on my TV. For this game alone we need a SwitchDS. Well this game and the at least 100 other decent dual screen games from the DS and 3DS era. They can lose the 3D, 2DS did away w/ it anyway. SwitchDS Pro could work.
I know this reply is a week later, back on the front page for the last day of the sale. Oh, and Happy New Year!!
@Bloomeml Thanks! Yeah, $29.99 for Immortals is a killer deal. I saw it at GameStop a week ago. Then I noticed the deal spread to Best Buy, Target & Amazon last weekend, and I jumped on it - got Immortals at Best Buy
I'm waiting on gold edition of Fenyx rising to get to at lest $40
What about Europe?
Asassin creed Rebel.
Never played black flag before. But man that game is serieusly the best asassin game i played, and yes i played till odysee.
Got this game when it was on sale.
I know I'll get Immortals (and watch dogs legion on pc) eventually, but right now my backlog is piling over me (I just bought Link's Awakening in that black Friday sale and haven't even started it!) and waiting a little longer for a game that will probably be super cheap by the time I'll be able to play it seems the smarter choice
I'll just hold out for the immortals "here's all the dlc in one pack" super duper special edition this time next year.
@Clyde_Radcliffe and Mario Rabbids is worth every penny, I'd love a second one.
Hm... I got Fenyx Rising for $39 on Christmas, so it's been frequently on this sale.
With my GameStop rewards and the $30 price tag on Immortals I was able to pick it up the other day for $10 brand new. Can’t beat that with a stick.
@Eddyson Well worth 40. Nowhere near as smooth as Zelda, but the voice acting is great - humor is as well. Will hold you over until BOTW 2.
@Harmonie I'm guessing putting this on sale after Christmas when a lot of people have gift cards is a smart move.
Valiant Hearts is a great game, hit me right in the feels too!
I went with Immortals Phoenix Rising on PlayStation. I did try it on Switch, but visually it was quite a bit more downgraded than I had expected. Especially considering how nice BotW looks.
Should note that South Park: Fractured But Whole's gold edition was the best deal of the bunch costing $90 for the game and all DLC's, but was only $23 dollars during this sell.
I bought immortals and i am crying for my money.
Very awfull game.
A bad copy of botw and also AC.
STAY AWAY.
I picked up Immortal fenyx Rising much cheaper physical release on boxing day. Must say yes it's a rip of Zelda but still enjoying my time with it
Loving immortals fenyx.
Going on sale already.
Also still enjoy black flag also, best asassin creed game ever.
