Considering buying these individually would add up to $100+ CAD, this is a no-brainer for me.

Metal Black and Gun Frontier are excellent, Dino REX is an incredibly rare game and a long time coming, and Darius II 3-screen has never been released on console before.

The rest is icing on the cake!

But yeah, the SLG collection is better. Not having RayForce is a real detriment. It's the best game in the collection!

I'm a longtime Bayonetta superfan, bought the original game no less than FOUR times, bought the anime, and own every title on almost every platform and I have absolutely ZERO, I mean ZERO interest in this game.

I hope the series gets back on track with the next entry after how disappointing 3 was. This just seems... like it has nothing to do with Bayonetta.

One Mario game
One Zelda game (thats actually a Wii U game)
No original Mario Kart
A bunch of lame kirby games (sorry kirby fans)
Some weird games as a service stuff
and then PORTS from console that had BETTER libraries.

The only reason you'd pick switch is if you never had a Nintendo console before. It's most warmed over ports of old games at full price.

@CharlieGirl the save state deletes itself if you finish the game. You're also forced into it on boot up.

It's not a real save state IMO.

I got excited and then saw it's an "S-Tribute" version and not M2...

I'll just wait for M2. Playing Batsugun wtih 6 frames of input lag is a nightmare.

I'm a pretty seasoned shmup player so it being easy is concerning, but the occasional breezy playthrough should still be fun!

@SpringDivorce I mean, 40 games with a dedicated machine and 4 save state slots is pretty good (ACA games dont even have save states)

Unfortunately the game will still be pretty bad because the level design and camera were AWFUL, but some of these changes are improvements.

However, most of these should've been there day one.

Making nifflheim easier is bunk, though.

The ACA release of Metal Black is superior, cheaper, and out now. Previous s-tribute releases had pretty beefy input lag.

It has tons of frames of animation, enemies, and VFX. I could see it easily taxing the Switch.

I didn't expected NintendoLife to have one of the lowest review scores for the game I've seen.

Oh well, I already pre ordered on ps4 and I'm still excited to try the game. It's always hard to take reviews as a whole when they tend to contradict each other. Different strokes for different folks, I guess?

@SteamEngenius these games aren't worth 10 cents. They've got more value than your modern AAA game IMO.

Honestly the open ended levels were the weakest parts of the game. I play Bayonetta to enjoy the high octane action and fighting, not to wander aimlessly and search for secrets.

I'd much prefer remasters to subscription-based ROM dumps. They need expanded views a la the Sonic genesis remasters (widescreen).

This is a complaint I see from people who don't understand that arcade games are played for 1ccs and high score runs. If you just credit feed every time you die then yeah, sure, it's "short" but you're not really playing the intended way and you're getting low scores...

The SEGA Genesis version has a WAY better soundtrack.

NFTs take something that can be free and open, and make it limited and scarce.

They are fundamentally useless and an artificial way to make digital spaces worse.

I highly doubt the Switch GPU can handle this...
