Happy MAR10 Day, folks! We hope you're all having fun celebrating our favourite moustachioed plumber. As a quick reminder, be sure to check out the current sale on the US eShop as Nintendo is celebrating with a selection of discounts on key Mario (and friends) titles on the US eShop; we've listed all eligible games below.
You might want to be quick if you have your eye on anything, as the sale is scheduled to end at 11:59PM PT on March 13th.
There's nothing here that's going to particularly blow your socks off — especially as the likelihood is you've bought, played and cherished most of the games on sale already — but you might want to hop onto Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for $39.99 ahead of the first DLC drop if you're one of the three remaining people yet to purchase the game.

I picked up a digital copy of Mario Kart. Been wanting to for a while so that I don't have to change cards to play it. With the DLC coming and the sale, seemed like a perfect time.
@bstoppel I think I may do the same. We have it physically but we share that one cart across three switches. It might be nice to get that digitally so I don't need to share anymore.
....but it does pain me a bit know that this would be the third time buying this game (Wii U, Switch, Switch Digital)

that’s great that they’re having these discounts in the eShop! the “MAR10” sale started over the weekend at local retail stores and I managed to pick up an extra copy of MK8D and a pair of Mario and Luigi Home Circuit karts for 33% and 40% discount

Shame Mario Party Superstars isn't on sale. I get it though, it's pretty new, Nintendo rarely discounts a game so soon after release. Still, I want the game, just not for full price, unless some free DLC drops and adds a couple of new boards.
The Wheel of Time turns, and ages come and pass, leaving sales that forever reappear at $39.99 (or £33).

If I hadn't already maxed out my gaming budget for this month, I'd jump on Super Mario 3D World. It's one of the few retail titles I want digital. I suspect it'll see another discount in the future though.
Really weird that Mario Odyssey isn't on sale, since that's usually the one that always does whenever they discount stuff.

I decided to grab Yoshi, it's one of those games that just flew under my radar. Well it's more like I was broke when it first released and broke every other time it went on sale lol

Looks like I will be snagging Mario 3D World.
Mario Kart 8D is the only Mario game I own digitally... it's great to always have it ready, and it's not like physical copies are ever going to be rare.
If you somehow don't have MK8D, this is your chance...

If it weren't because I want my games physically, I'd totally grab Super Mario 3D World and Yoshi's Crafted World.
The former is in my wishlist for 2022, but the closures of the Wii U and 3DS eShops have priority over anything Switch related at the moment (save for Kirby's upcoming release)

@StarPoint was about to share that. If anyone hasn't played Mario + Rabbids it's a no-brainer to get it for $9.99, especially with the sequel around the corner. It's one of the best games I played on Switch.

I just bought MK8 in this sale. For the last 5 years, I kept expecting MK9 to come out but the DLC finally convinced me to give up.
@UglyCasanova Hardly constructive. So, spend MORE on a 1st party game when it's NOT on sale, or less when it is on sale? 🤔 That's not a difficult concept to deduce which scenario is better.
For me, this is an ideal and sensible time to get 3D World/Bowser's Fury; spend LESS for something I already wanted.
We all know Nintendo usually does 33% off at most. You knew that when you jumped into Switch.

Your pain is felt!…finally purchased both a digital and physical copy of Mario Kart 8 this week much to the enjoyment of all Nintendo execs! Similar situation , did not want to have to share that physical copy amongst the multiple Switchs in the house! It explains why MK8 has sold so many copies even though it’s almost a decade old! It’s because of suckers like us! Hope you and the fam enjoy karting…I’m sure we’ll feel better about it once that booster course pack is fully realized. Still they got me..and I feel a bit dirty still lol

A “victims of multiple purchases of MK8 across multiple platforms” support group is desperately needed…you and I will sit on the board for sure lol! Yes Im getting the blasted booster course packs as well…now I’m eyeing the online expansion pak as it seems like an improved value with the booster courses being added for “free”. Im just going to mail Nintendo my wallet with all my financial info at this point!
Fam had an absolute blast playing MK8 online with Uncles, aunts and cousins last night ….5 yrs later they’re asking me …”why didn’t we get this game earlier?!” So to make up for lost time I had to pay the price twice! SMH!
