I watched a video of a guy run through a level without hitting an enemy, just walking through them. And then the enemies just sat there and didn't attack.

Surprised the review score is so high considering.

As a longtime arcade gamer and fighting game player, I seriously do not believe leverless is the "best" way to play anything.

Its ok to have preferences without putting down other input methods.

I'm priced out of Switch 2, but even when I do eventually get one, I'll keep my Switch 1. Knowing its not truly backwards compatible means i cant get rid of it...

That professor is pretty blind to reality. Sure plenty of games do receive patches, but there are plenty of games that are complete and playable on cart. There's an entire website dedicated to this (does it play).

This is not just a huge step back for preservation, its spitting in the face of consumer rights.

@HeadPirate not exactly. Humble was purchased in 2017 by IGN. Humble Games got cleaned out last year.

Who is even operating it? Even the developers in this showcase said "they lost access to critical systems" and HG stopped signing games.

Running a publisher is not analogous to flipping burgers.

How did Humble Games have a showcase? Didn't they fire all staff?

These folks lied to their customers so much, and for so long. Even this article doesn't make it clear what resources were "low" and why the money they took for pre-orders wasn't used to fulfill the pre-orders!

It took over two years to get Dariusburst CS Core after being told I would get it 3 months after I purchased it...

They spoke about transparency but never lived up to that promise. They still haven't even delivered Ray'z CE and they keep announcing new games (likely to gather money to pay for old games!).

I would be shocked if this company makes it to the end of the year.

I'm holding out for the physical version! Can't wait.

I can only assume a lot of this has to do with the increased prevalence of PC gaming.

It's really disappointing how Nintendo treated Sony here, but at least it led to the PS1 and more competition.

I love the N64 as much as the next guy but the PS1 revolutionized the industry.

This is a huge deal for Rastan Saga III aka Warrior Blade (1991). That's a legendary game.

Overall incredibly lineup. Dead Connection is a real hidden gem, and having Cadash and the full Rastan trilogy in one collection is fantastic.

Bubble Bobble and Rainbow Islands is nice, too.

Already got my physical pre-ordered.

I mean, at the end of the day Gacha mechanics are still transparently predatory and introduce artificial scarcity and gambling-like mindsets to game design.

I'm not sure it's a good thing to "learn to love" them...
