The secret of Stellar Blade is that.... it's not very good.

Completely overhyped game with poor combat, BAD level design, and okay simon-says style boss fights.

Seriously, if you want this "style" of game on S2 just pick up Bayonetta 1, Bayo 2, DMC 5, DMC 3, Ninja Gaiden Master collection, etc... You've got so many better choices.

...and the cherry on top? A Game Key Card...

I've literally got no reason to purchase this... I'll stick to SW1...

Not being able to swap out my own parts kills my interest but the slim profile is nice. Maybe a good travel stick?

Either way, great review and I look forward to the game. I was pretty cautious but after spending time with the demo and seeing reviews I'm excited to jump in.

This game seems plainly unfinished. That's a shame, it was a promising port.

bought this game on genesis, its a pretty mediocre euroshmup with great visuals.

I'm not really into cozy games but I got this game for my GF on PS5 and she loved it. We sit and play it together sometimes, its like if Animal Crossing had a story and focused on cooking.

@The_Nintendo_Expat Yeah, I really wish more review sites would take the time to measure input lag as a baseline for all games, most ESPECIALLY any games that are retro ports/emulation.

I also wish Digital Eclipse would improve their emulation so this wouldn't be an issue in the first place...

I was excited until I saw game key card

I'm kind of surprised this article celebrating the game is so negative.

This is, in my opinion, the best version of the original RE1 and it makes me sad that it'll likely never get ported (Capcom instead opting to port the inferior PS1 "director's cut").

Even just simple additions like the knife being on "L" or the quickturn make this game way smoother than the OG.

I get why some people just stick to the remake, but personally I prefer the tone and atmosphere of the original. It's bright and unsettling (and iconic!).

I definitely recommend people check out this game and give it a shot. It's stuck with me after all these years!

Eh... I'm not sure I trust DE with these games. DE is notorious for adding significant input lag, and that would make most of these games borderline unplayable.

@Zuljaras that's definitely what is holding me back from buying one, but surely you and I are in the minority?

I assume this is due to global recession, higher cost of living, high prices and lack of stand out games.

I watched a video of a guy run through a level without hitting an enemy, just walking through them. And then the enemies just sat there and didn't attack.

Surprised the review score is so high considering.

As a longtime arcade gamer and fighting game player, I seriously do not believe leverless is the "best" way to play anything.

Its ok to have preferences without putting down other input methods.
