An entire review but no mention of performance/framerate? damn.

I'm staying cautious. The developer hasn't shown any Switch footage so I expect it to run at 10fps.

I bought this last year. Honestly the fighting mechanics are pretty great, but the single player is boring. Multiplayer can be great, but in COVID times its hard to get a friend to come over...

We still haven't seen any footage from the Switch version... so maybe I'll get PS4 instead...

I've been playing this game for over a year it's great. And an absolute blast in multiplayer.

Darius Cozmic Collection is my favourite- incredible care and impeccable quality.

Mario 3D All-Stars is my least favourite. It's an emulated ROM-dump with no special features and mucked up controls + weak performance.

I've had two instances where games were broken and I got a digital refund from Nintendo but in one case I had to contact the better business bureau to get them to do it.

Yuck. NBA 2K games are awful and predatory. Disappointed they would be shipped here.

Otherwise looks like a barren period for switch. Fine by me! I've got no shortage of games.

Those are also beat em ups that aren't open world.

It sounds like you just don't like beat em ups- they can be modernized and made great, its just most indies dont bother to stray far from the tried and true.

Like, I agree with you but I don't think its a genre issue, it's just developers need to modernize 2D ones the same way 3D ones have been modernized.

Not every game needs to be open world. High quality beat em ups have their place. If you don't like them, don't play them.

Nintendo's output this gen is laughable. Brain Age, Xenoblade Chronicles remaster, Donkey Kong- all ports.

We didn't even get a new Mario Kart for the Switch.

yes they are not. The majority of Switch library are warmed over ports.

This is not true. Invoicing is not some legally binding agreement that you think they've done their accounting properly. It is JUST to get paid.

You can invoice until the cows come home and still request an audit of their books at any time. There is 0 reason to not invoice for money owed. It does not legitimize or deligitmize their bookkeeping.

Regardless of what I think of Dangen, no other Dangen dev has had these issues.

Nintendo makes money off of every sale, so they're turning into steam and allowing heaps of shovelware to come to the platform.

this game made me sad. clunky combat, stiff controls, and the music/sfx were a letdown.
