I noticed some framerate issues at IndieCade which is a shame.
I would've picked this up had it not released the day before Halloween... I wanna play it during the Halloween time so I'll probably pick it up on sale or next october- whichever comes first!
I think this study simplifies a very complex topic. I believe that the media has a direct influence on us, even if we do not realize it or wish to admit it. But I don't think that means we can't have violent games or films... It's a very complex issue, and not one I'm qualified to comment on, but there is no definitive answer.
I love Warriors games. SW3 was great and SW:C on 3DS was even better.
I'm currently finishing up Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper on Wii U in anticipation of Hyrule Warriors and I'd like to pick up Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 if it ever drops in price on the eShop!
I am really interested in seeing how this game turns out. No footage has ever been shown so it's probably bad, but with this many extra months of dev time I expect the game to be fully optimized at least.
And by "North America" you mean "USA" and by "USA" you mean "New York" and by "New York" you mean "people willing to line up at the Rockefeller center at 8am and are lucky enough to actually get a copy."
Yeesh. Nintendo isn't into collector's editions in NA are they?
@ACK you're joking, right? Maybe low level play with your friends but high level is impossible to break into. I play high level 2d fighters and I still can't remember the entire movelist for a single tekken character.
So I'll either do that or just wait until a sale shows up. $30 for a port of a retro shmup is a bit too much for me. I was hoping for a price in line with the SEGA 3D Classics line...
I loved Bayonetta 1, so I am counting the days until this game releases. I am ripping through my backlog so I can just spend as much time as possible with the game.
@HugoSmits Yeah I have to disagree. The original Fifa 13 sold poorly because EA couldn't trick as many people into purchasing their garbage product (iirc it lacked most of the features of the PS3 and 360 versions even, I dont even know if it had online). And still, for a half-hearted port the game sold over 150,000 copies. Not a terrible ROI considering they put very little money into the game to start.
EA has been treating Wii U owners as second-tier customers and has been bombarding them with awful, overpriced ports (Fifa 13, Mass Effect 3, Madden) and then calling foul when no one is dumb enough to buy them. They launched ME3: Wii U alongside a lower priced ME Trilogy on competing platforms. Absolutely daft.
I'm disappointed... I wanted to see more characters from Awakening. Hopefully Ike's reveal doesn't mean characters like Chrom and Lucina won't be excluded...
@R_Champ Exactly! Add on top of that every other review so far has been a 9/10! Sometimes I don't agree with nintendolife reviews and that's OK. Different people have different tastes.
@SecondServing That's a shame. I know many games with mixed reviews that are some of the best I have played.
Personally excited to but this come Thursday. It looks fun, has great style, and uses the gamepad in a unique way. Add in that its an exclusive experience and is inspired by some of my favorite games and I'm sold.

Re: Feature: Five Nintendo Games Perfect For Multiplayer Fun and Thanksgiving
I would've picked Sportsball for the list. It's a blast.
Can get pretty competitive, though!
Re: Review: Sportsball (Wii U eShop)
Yup! I gotta say- this is one very unique and fantastic multiplayer experience! Grab some friends and give it a shot- it's addicting!

Sportsball. So CRAZY fun with 4 people (5 as an announcer, too haha).
Great multiplayer game. Can't wait to play more!

I had no idea this was possible... Mind you I guess gradius rebirth did it...
Re: Nintendo 64x64: Snowboard Kids
I loved this game as a kid. Great music and fun four-player racing.
Maybe some day it will come to Wii U VC?
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Removed Tharja From Super Smash Bros. To Avoid A Higher Age Rating
And yet you can play as shulk in a bathing suit...
Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2014 - Fall Edition
Am I mistaken in thinking Swords and Soldiers II is coming out this fall?
Re: You'll Definitely Want to Try Out Stealth Inc 2's Level Editor
@sam_robinson Good! I've been trying to share the game with friends but the only videos are developer walkthroughs and stuff. Can't wait to see it!
Re: You'll Definitely Want to Try Out Stealth Inc 2's Level Editor
Does this game even have a trailer yet?
Re: Review: Bayonetta (Wii U eShop)
Best action game of last gen. Hands down.
Re: Review: Hyrule Warriors (Wii U)
IT seems like the Nintendolife staff really don't like the Warriors games!
Oh well 7 isn't a bad score and I'm still definitely buying!
Re: Feature: Ahead Of Hyrule Warriors, We Take A Look Back At Koei Tecmo's Famous Musou Series

If its like a user-friendly Tekken consider me in.
Re: Feature: HD Remasters That Would Be Perfect for Wii U

I'm a huge F-Zero fan and GX is undoubtedly the best in the series and one of the best racers EVER MADE.
Re: Sega Once Again Targets 3DS As Its Most Lucrative Gaming System This Year
4 Wii U SKUs?
Are they all Sonic Boom?
Re: Talking Point: Deconstructing Nintendo's Retail Releases of Wii U eShop Titles
Nintendo isn't alone in this strategy... Lest we forget DuckTales: Remastered.
Re: Steel Empire Blasting A Path To The North American 3DS eShop Next Week
I can pick up a Genesis cart for 1/3rd the price.

Re: Talking Point: With E3 Long Gone, Nintendo Still Has Plenty to Reveal 'Directly' to Fans
Maybe I misheard, but I was pretty sure Itagaki said Devil's Third would be coming out this year?
Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2014 - Summer Edition
Bayonetta 2 all day err day
EDIT: isn't Devil's Third supposed to come out this year too?

@6ch6ris6 Haha he was totally reading off a teleprompt, too!
Yeah, no need to show the face of the person speaking. People would rather see the footage, methinks.
Re: Guide: The Biggest Wii U and 3DS Retail Games Coming In 2014
Wow. That gap between now and Hyrule Warriors is HUGE.
I guess its gonna be a backlog summer...

Re: FIFA 15 Is Lacing Its Boots For A Wii And 3DS Appearance, But Is Skipping The Wii U
They'll release for consoles with lower install bases and even release for dead platforms but won't put it out on Wii U.
I don't understand the justification here. Maybe next year?
Re: Review: 1001 Spikes (3DS eShop)
Playing on Wii U. It's great.
Re: Natsume Confirms A-Train: City Simulator For 3DS and Alphadia Genesis for Wii U
Wonder if Alphadia Genesis is any good and I wonder if it will be enhanced over the original.
Re: SteamWorld Dig Is Finding Its Way to Wii U This Autumn / Fall

Re: Nintendo Download: 5th June (North America)
is 1001 spikes on sale?? Supposed to be 15, no?
Re: Review: Chubbins (Wii U eShop)
Looks fun, but I wish they hired an artist.
Re: 1001 Spikes Hitting 3DS and Wii U on 3rd June
Nice! I might pick this up on Wii U. Always looking for more neat titles like this, especially gruelling hard ones!
Wish the Wii U version had a loyalty discount.. but I guess it's Nicalis' first Wii U eShop title!
Re: Meet Sticks, The New Member of Sonic Boom's "Core Ensemble"

D&D:CoM is at a great price.
I hope more people buy it and go online! I need more people to play online with!

Re: Site News: Check Out Nintendo Life's eShop Picks On Your Wii U And 3DS
Wii U:
D&D:CoM
Scram Kitty
3ds:
Attack of the Friday Monsters
Kokuga
Starship Damrey
3d Galaxy Force II
My additions to the lists. My favorites so far that weren't mentioned.
Re: HullBreach Studios and Cthulhi Games Retract Claim to Sadness IP
This is good news. Hopefully another studio picks up the IP and develops a real 3D survival horror game.
No offense to Cthulhi and Hullbreach, I just think that their game would not be true to the IP.
Re: Nintendo Download: 15th May (North America)
All about scram kitty this week.
Still surprised that nintendolife gave the game the lowest score of all reviews for the game so far.
Re: Review: Mario Kart 8 (Wii U)
Can you select individual tracks to race outside of time trial now? That really bugged me in MK7.
