I love the original trilogy, but this seems like a waste of time to replay so soon after the last one came out TBH. I'm excited for the next new Atelier game though!

It's my birthday this weekend so I got a bunch of new games for my Switch 2 that I'm excited to try out: Donkey Kong Bananza, Split Fiction, and Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition. I've also been slowly playing through The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy and having a blast. I'm on day 33 and I love the combat and story so far.

I finally went back to Atelier Ryza 3 after a long break because I wanna finish it before playing Atelier Yumia! I'm loving this game overall, although 15 hours in I think I still prefer the story from the second game. Hopefully it gets more interesting as I go on. I'll also probably play some Super Mario Party Jamboree with friends

Unicorn Overlord #1!! So well deserved. Happy to see Super Mario Party Jamboree crack the top 15 at least, and Dragon Quest III definitely deserves its top 10 spot. Can't wait to give Ys X a try when I finally get it.

OMG no! I'm hoping he just can't say anything about it yet. This was my GOTY for 2024 and I would love a sequel. The first one was so unique and the gameplay loop was addicting.

I had a lot of fun playing Switch this year. I wish I had really gotten into Unicorn Overlord earlier in the year because it would easily be in my top-played games if December was included.

I love hearing Kit and Krysta's insights on the industry and Nintendo. Sooo interesting!

Ys VIII was genuinely a masterpiece. I almost never enjoy exploration as much as I did in that game. Building up my base at the island was so rewarding too.

Dead By Daylight is super fun! Highly recommend.

Mario Party 8 is so underrated. It's easily one of my favorites in the series, along with Super Mario Party Jamboree. I liked Superstars and the first Super Mario Party a lot, but it felt like something was missing from them still.

@DoBetterNintendo Right? In Mario Party Superstars two people could create/join an online lobby from the same Switch. Ridiculous that they got rid of that feature...

My copy of Monster Hunter Stories finally arrived from Playasia (first time ordering from there) and I'm excited to get into it!! I debated just buying it on the eshop, but I really wanted the physical copy. I also didn't have the storage for it as my SD card is getting close to full now lol.

Aw dang, I actually thought the trailers looked quite fun! Still probably gonna watch this though because I tend to be more forgiving than the average critic lol.

Sounds like a pretty fun game. I've been in the mood for a more classic turn-based RPG. I got the game for my birthday and I'm excited to be introduced to the One Piece universe! Who knows, maybe I'll watch the entire anime if I really like the game.

It's my birthday weekend and I got some new Switch games as presents that I can't wait to play!!

• One Piece Odyssey
• The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV
• The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak

I've played a few stages of Peach's game so far and it's super cute! I also wanna give One Piece Odyssey a go at some point this weekend. I'll have to wait to start the two Trails games until I finish Cold Steel III, but I'm super excited to play them eventually.

Both are amazing, but I was much more invested in the story and world of Three Houses so it takes the cake for me.

I've officially dived into The Legend of Heroes series on Switch with Cold Steel III! I originally wanted to play Cold Steel I & II first but I got tired of waiting for Switch ports and just read the backstory section in the game instead. I finished the prologue and am a good way into chapter 1 and I'm having a blast. Can't wait to play the rest of this series over the next few years!

Playable Zelda AHHHHH!!!

Mario Party is definitely my favorite multiplayer series from Nintendo and this new entry looks AMAZING!! Finally more than 4-5 maps like we were stuck with on Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars. Hoping the minigames are as good as the ones from Superstars!

This is so exciting!! Now I just need to finish the 4-6 trilogy before September and I'll be ready...

This class looks like so much fun! I wish it was offered it at my college. It would be fun to look at game design principles through the lens of a series.

@Chlocean I hope you enjoy the Layton/Ace Attorney crossover game! That one was sooooo good, especially for any fan of both series.

I finally went back to Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy for the first time since launch, and it's been so much fun! I just finished case one (definitely the best of the first cases in the series so far). I can't wait to see how the rest of the game is.

This will be a great game for me to celebrate the end of the school year with!! It'll be nice to actually have time to play games again for a few months without worrying about college.

I pre-ordered Unicorn Overlord the other day and I can't wait for my copy to get here this weekend!! I'm also really excited for Princess Peach: Showtime!, but I'll probably wait a bit to get it.

@Arminillo Honestly, if there's anything that's reminiscent of DBD it's getting absolutely destroyed the first 20 hours you play LOL. Thank you for the warning!

Crossplay would definitely make me more likely to get it now. Can anyone who's played say if it's worth getting? I'm a fan of Dead By Daylight and saw comparisons before release, but does anyone know if this would actually interest fans of it?

Dead By Daylight and Fortnite are definitely the most addictive games on Switch that I've played. I have hundreds of hours in both LOL

I'm so hyped!! The sequel was amazing and I never got a chance to play the original so this is definitely a day one purchase for me.

I'm happy to finally have a release date for the new Fantasy Life game, even if it is later than I would have hoped. I still have a huge backlog though so it's not the end of the world lol! Cool to see Epic Mickey come back as well. I was already sold on Unicorn Overlord but I was happy to see another trailer. Also, I can't wait to play Monster Hunter Stories when it launches. I loved the sequel and I'm hoping the original is just as good.

I've really been getting into Hogwarts Legacy the past few days so I'm definitely gonna continue it! I just unlocked my first broom and I'm so excited to be able to fly now. The further I get the more amazed I am by the game. I love the combat, I'm actually enjoying doing side quests, and it basically feels like the Harry Potter game any fan could dream of. Not to mention it runs decently on Switch too!!

I got a bunch of new games for Christmas so I wanna try out each of them for at least a little while before I pick one to commit to! The games are Octopath Traveler II, Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, Super Mario RPG, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III! I'll also definitely play some Hogwarts Legacy because it's too addictive LOL.

Fire Emblem Engage is criminally low! It had the best gameplay of any Fire Emblem game I've ever played.

I finished the first palace in Persona 5 Royal last weekend so I'm very interested to see where the story goes from here! I also decided to continue Great Ace Attorney Chronicles since the Apollo Justice Trilogy is almost here. I'm on case 5 of Adventures and I'm excited to finish that and start Resolve soon.
