@LoroTalby none of the 5th generation console games have aged well in the looks department. I have a difficult time playing many of the playstation one games without getting a headache.... buy honestly I think the n64 aged better compared to the playstation

Unrealistic expectation- banjo tooie and conkers bad fur day on n64 online

High end expectation- dk64 and donkey kong game boy

Low end expectation- the donkey kong country game boy and game boy advance games

Depressingly realistic- donkey kong math and the king of swing games

the first time i played link to the past, i went step by step by the players guide. so of course I got the satisfaction of beating the game, but I was too young and immature to appreciate the value of beating the game by learning and discovering everything myself instead of going by the guide, which to this day colors my overall view of the game, so yes, I wish I could forget everything, and play it again for the first time, and experiencing everything fresh and learn by trial and error and discovery

@Ventilator banjo one and goldeneye are already on Switch Online. And an adults only Japanese switch online opens the door to the possibility of conker and perfect dark. . Don't be rude, it doesn't make you sound any more clever or interesting.

Ive always thought of it as the Pokemon console. Just a bit of a novelty made to play a novelty game series. of course, I wasnt aware of the game boy advance being on the horizon, so in retrospect, it feels like a bit of a stopgap

They really need to get on porting Disney Afternoon Collection to switch.

the GBA was good, but I never liked the blurry faux-3D graphics or muffled WOO-HOO-HOO voice effects, so this will be a nice thing to look forward to. Hopefully they'll add the original Donkey Kong 95 to Game Boy Online

on one hand, Im glad it's coming back and i have a chance to play it again, as well as the first timers getting their shot at playing it.

on the other- it's a perfect game as is, and really doesnt need the Remake or remaster or etc.
