I have one temple done and about 60 shrines. This game is going to take me until at least the middle of June, probably beginning of July, to complete.

It was inevitable, but these people don’t deserve this. Not that anyone ever does, but you know what I mean.

Same here, now I’m wondering how much shrines I missed exploring over in Hebra without the sensor.

The biggest change is the dungeons for me. Yeah, you still need to find the five things, but everything else is better. Theming, bosses, music, and the puzzles are all major improvements over BOTW. And I did find that turning on pro hud, and not opening my map, helped with the whole “ go find the five things.” It felt like I was actually going through a dungeon instead of going from point A to point B.

For some reason we have some nobody named Link as the protagonist instead of the true legendary hero Tingle.

Eh, I think the postman is the new kass. Also how can you hate someone who plays the sweetest tunes to exist.

The way things are going, TOTK will easily be one of, if not my favorite, games of all time.

That’s a weird way to say Tulin is the best character in TOTK.

The first season was way better than I expected. It’s not the greatest show ever created, but for what it is, the show was pretty good. Definitely need to watch this when it releases.

Hmmm, I knew I saw Matt riding around Hyrule field.

That opening cutscene was one of the best things I’ve seen in gaming. What a way to open a masterpiece of a game.

They shouldn’t, simply because Link would get a voice. It just wouldn’t be natural.

I haven’t gotten it, but it’s one of the few amibos I’ve been tempted to get.

The great sky island was much better than the great plateau. I actually wanted to explore it, whereas the plateau I just wanted to get the paraglider and leave.

The way things are going, TOTK will easily be one of my top three games in the series and all time.

I’m gonna try to do most everything in the game.

With that logic Nintendo should never release a new console. Game stores are always gonna have switch stock left over when the new console is revealed. Just like they had extra PS4’s when the PS5 was revealed.

This was never worth doing in BOTW. I’d much rather take the extra few seconds to charge my stamina instead of awkwardly holding the controller to whistle run.

Kinda want to get a membership just for these.

I think we can all admit that EA makes much better games than Nintendo. Take Madden for example. You have a wide open receiver, then a defender phases through him to intercept your pass. How can you not love it!/s

It’s just how things work with sequels and remakes. Ocarina of Time 3D scored lower than the original even though it is better in every way.

I know that, I think I might have misunderstood @BTB20 comment. I meant that the math did add up to TOTK being $20 with the two games traded in. But that’s clearly not worth it or what he said in his comment.

I agree that the amount of Zelda content today is a bit much, but considering the game comes out on Friday, there will be a lot of articles on the game for the next week.

I wouldn’t say it’s the best of all time, but it is very good. It’s weird, but I feel like it is now kinda underrated compared to how overrated it was at launch. A lot of Zelda fans act like it’s a 6/10 game just because it doesn’t have traditional dungeons even though it blows the Zelda series out of the water in most everything else. ( except for story, but most Zelda games don’t have amazing stories either.)

Digital is more convenient . Plus I can play Thursday night.

The console is going to be what, 7 years old. The fact they are forecasting 15 million units is pretty amazing.

Can’t wait to throw hands with Ganondorf.

I feel like people think they are entitled to play any game they want, regardless of if they buy it or not. Yeah it may suck if a game isn’t for sale any more, but that still doesn’t give you the right to steal it.

Emulation is fine for retro consoles, but you lose me when you mention current gen emulation. The game preservation argument doesn’t work with a console readily available in stores.

Already have it pre ordered and am ready to spend an hour before launch, trying to access the game early.

Do you guys need to compare every game released to a Nintendo IP?

I’m not sure on where the rumors came from, just that I saw it in some Spawn Wave videos. But it does make sense that Nintendo would reveal their next console sometime this year with the switch being at the end of its life.

By big games I mean system sellers. Most people aren’t buying a switch for Pikmin or Kirby. But you put out a Zelda or Mario game and people are buying a switch to play those.

We’ve had rumors for awhile that TOTK was the last major switch game. I could definitely see Nintendo revealing the switch successor at Gamescom this year, with a Fall 2024 release.

Well yeah, everybody knows a Mug is worth $40, while a game with 100+ hours of content isn’t worth $70.

It’s just common sense after all.

Im gonna try to beat as much of Monster Hunter world as possible, then it is going on the back burner when TOTK releases.

Eh, really no point in watching since I have the game pre ordered. Why watch it and spoil myself when I can play the game 2 hours later.

It won’t bankrupt them, but that doesn’t make piracy right. You would feel pretty angry if someone stole something you owned, why is it ok to steal from major companies?
