It works in a warriors game, but I don’t see how playable Zelda would work in a mainline game.

You would be right for the present day storyline, but the memories are focused on her Journey in the past.

Plus, making Zelda playable would ruin Links purpose in the games. The only way I could see playable Zelda is if Nintendo handled it like Peach in the paper Mario games. They could also handle it like MJ in Spider-Man 2, where she had a couple stealth sections in the game.

I actually liked Zelda in this game and her character was much improved from BOTW.

But Tulin is by far the best character in the game, possibly the series.

The entire story was focused on. Zelda’s journey, I don’t see what making her playable would accomplish.

Probably ran out of OG switches to pair with the bundle.

So how soon do games usually release after being rated?

The rating is off, but why would this be unnaceptable when something like say, Red Dead Redemption is just fine?

Reality is that most of the things that are okay in gaming are knowhere near okay in real life. I wouldn't go slash someones chest with a sword just because I can do it in Zelda.

We better be able to carry over digital games.

Time to boycott if Nintendo can’t hit the bare minimum of 8k and 120 fps.

Nah, timelines are cool and can be kinda fun to look at, but at the end of the day they don’t matter much.

I already bought Spider-Man 2, so I’ll have to wait awhile before I spend more on games. Probably will snag Wonder and Mario RPG at the same time using game vouchers.

The Zelda fan base is weird. It seems like the only games that can be a part of the timeline are the ones that fit their personal theories and ideas. Which leads to a million different timelines that all make less sense than the official one.

I was truly shocked when I first heard that Sonic had a timeline. They get surprisingly deep with that sort of thing in The fan base.

Trust me, I don’t have nostalgia for most every Paper Mario game. I played Super when I was a kid, but other than that every other game I’ve experienced within the past 4 years or so.

Personally, while I don’t find it that funny, I have no problem with the idea. It’s more so the fact that the game hasn’t even came out yet, and they are already modding it.

Somehow people are going to find a way to make this about Nintendo being anti consumer.

Don’t get me wrong, I love TTYD. But I do think it is a bit overrated. (So a 8.5-9/10 instead of 10/10.) what I don’t like is this idea that the older games can do no wrong, while the newer ones do nothing right.

Listen, I get it, TTYD is a great game. But to instantly write of any of the new games because they aren’t the older ones is foolish. While I personally think Origami King is the best in the series, the older style is definitely superior overall. I think instead of saying the series needs to be one or the other, they should take the best aspects of both styles. Take the battle system and creativity of the older games and the exploration and art of the newer ones. Heck, Nintendo has started to do that with the TTYD remake art-style being a blending of new and old.

Did you not include Color Splash because it didn't prove your point? Although then you would need to take into account that it was on a system with 14 million units sold.

But I do agree. Let the sales of TTYD decide whether the fans really want a return to the old style, or if thats just a vocal minority.

You litarally said that anyone who puts the original 3 games below Origami King shouldn't have their opinion taken seriously. So yes, while exagerrated, you did essentially say that nobody should think that TTYD, or any of the original games, are worse than TOK.

Hopefully! Bug Fables is probably the best RPG I've played and in my top five all time, so its a high bar to beat. But I think Born of Bread will be on a similar level.

Sweet, aside from Bug Fables there surprisingly hasn’t been much Paper Mario-likes out there. Glad to see we have another good one coming.

I always thought they just gave Mario a headbutt.

That is one of the worst things about modern gaming. At least Nintendo isn't as bad as Playstation, where you have to copy the entire game from the disk to the system before you can play it.

Any game that releases physically will get leaked. For example, Spider-Man 2 has been getting leaked left and right due to people getting early copies. Now I don’t know if other company’s have it as bad as Nintendo since the switch is easier to emulate than newer consoles, but it’s not like their the only ones dealing with early copies getting out in the wild.

The game boy could survive a freaking bomb. My 2DS broke after being hit by a small ATV, so not really in the same league.

The early 2000’s were a very strange time, that’s for sure.

I’m not to into the game myself, but usually the quality of a sports game depends on you liking the sport itself. I’m just a random guy on the internet though, so what do I know?

I think that Mario Wonder is a case where a demo isn’t needed. You know what your gonna get with a 2D Mario game gameplay wise, so why would a demo be needed?

Yeah, it could have been handled better. But when you take a player as polarizing as Kaepernick and put him front and center, it would be foolish to not expect the conversation to be about him. Right or wrong, thats just the fact of the matter.

Seems interesting, but not for me. I just wish an actual simlation game would come to switch, even if it was Madden.

I remember a 500 piece set used to cost around $40 dollars. I know theres been inflation, but thats more expensive than TOTK for a medium sized set.

Just let me go sell my kidney and I'll pick up one of these sets. Maybe if I'm lucky I can get two.

Spiderman 2 is also arguably Sony's biggest game of this generation. It will be close, but I would bet Spiderman beats Wonder out.
