Doesn't look too bad! I love the series so I'm getting this

I love Pokken Tournament and can't wait to get it on the Switch. It's one of my most frequently played game on the Wii U. Now, so many more people can enjoy it as the Switch has a very broad audience, overall.

The other announcements are just "meh" for me, but I'm not at all disappointed. I'll still get them all, though!

$20 bucks a year is less than $2 a month. Are people really that petty? If u don't want it just shut your mouth and don't pay for it. Not trying to be rude or anything, but seriously .... $20!!!!! for a full year!

@CheezIt umm that's the price of experience..... ever pay to go on a carriage ride? A boat tour? You don't necessarily get any "thing" to show for it .... u pay for the experience: similar to online play. You don't have anything to show for it other than the experience of it. If u don't want the experience, then don't pay for it and don't say other people are "burning" their money: it's their choice.

It's pretty cheap, overall. I do wish a VC service would be announced soon, though. Despite all the Switch games that I have, I do want loads more . . .

I was going to buy this soon anyways. The free game as compensation made me buy it earlier than expected so that's a nice bonus (I was literally planning on buying it this weekend or next anyways with or without the update/a sale).

It seems like people are taking this topic way too far. Nintendo released a new Metroid game (yes, it is a Metroid game). If you are interested, buy it. If not, don't. Stop complaining and move on with your life.

More Pokemon!

@majinx07 there's a role play mode so you don't even need to turn on your 3DS to play with it. Now everyone can pretend to be a Pokemon trainer. Just grab some balls and start throwing. . . Kind of like Pokemon go :s

I wouldve bet that a Pokemon game would be released early in the NX's release. Too bad I didn't. Lol. It will definitely tie in/work with Sun/Moon

I just replayed photo dojo last night and had lots of immature fun (cursing and inappropriate pics)

@mowerdude I can't believe you don't own a 3DS!!!! If you are hesitant or unsure, at least get a 2dS. You won't get the 3D gameplay, but at least you can play all the amazing games you have been missing out on . . . And there's a lot!

I love all of the new Pokemon!!!
They're all simple, yet unique. My favourite design would have to be . . . it's hard to pick!

I played and own both starfox and pikmin3. Both are amazing games and are definitely underappreciated.

I'll reserve judgement until I play the game, but I can see how people will connect this terrible trailer to a terrible game without trying it.

@Ichiyama it's not just video games. I also have a backlog of amiibos and Animal Crossing amiibo cards/Pokemon TCG packs that I haven't even opened yet . . . probably a hoarding problem more than anything . . .

I have the cartridge but never finished it. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it in the next 15 years, once I've cleared up my backlog.

I have almost every single video game system in existence. The Wii U is among my favourite system ever!

Pokken Tournament is definitely a great game. I am not a fan of Tekken, nor am I very good at fighting games, but Pokken Tournament is so easy to learn (and difficult to master). The tutorials and easy control scheme have really helped me learn combos and high/low blocking and countering, etc. It's such a great and fun game.

It's a shame that not that many gamers tried out the Wii U. It is definitely my favourite console ever released. No, I'm not a fan boy either as I have a bunch of Sony consoles/handhelds and X Box consoles as well.

Scizor would have been awesome in this game. Oh well! My Pokken controller arrived last week...can't wait to use it on Friday.

To this day, I don't know how people can judge anyone or anything without having any personal experience with that thing/person. I disregard all opinions unless there is legitimate experience with said opinion.

I think it was a good Direct. As for games like Paper Mario and Metroid, I think people really shouldn't judge them until they've experienced it themselves. It's like judging a person based on viewing that person from a distance and not actually speaking with him/her or getting to know that person first.

I JUST finished Black 2 the other day. It was ok, but not even close to any of the others.

They all have great aspects, but my all time favourite is Soul Silver.... and Alpha Sapphire, and X..... and Y.... and Yellow, and.... all of them. Hahaha

Even if I only played this for a total of ten hours in my entire life, that only works out to less than $8/hr of entertainment. Let's see: one starbucks latte costs me $7.10 after tax, which means this game will cost about 11 coffees.
It also costs less than one sweater, less than three movies with a popcorn combo, less than a dinner out (which doesn't even include the cost of drinks) ... Yup, it has low value because the content is "Too low for money "

I purchased so many of RCMADIAX's games on the Wii U eshop and the guy has actually liked my Miiverse posts for these games. I wouldn't say they are truly earth-shattering masterpieces, but they are super cheap and a nice way to pass some time. Some of RCMADIAX's games are cheaper than the price of a chocolate bar.

I should mention that Scyther/Scizor are my favourite Pokemon.

I was just a wee child when the games were first introduced in Nintendo Power, and eventually released in North America: I didn't know too much about either version, except that blue is my favourite colour so I wanted Pokemon Blue. However, due to popular demand, Blue was sold out everywhere (and I mean, EVERYWHERE) so I had to get Red - best twist of fate ever!

I liked all of the Red exclusives more than the Blue exclusives. However, that doesn't mean I don't like the Blue exclusives. I think I thought all Pokemon from Gen I were well designed and fun to use (although totally broken; i.e. Overpowered Psychics, etc.)

This is why I refuse to buy a PS4. In this day and age there is no excuse for the PS4 to lack a bread drive. I mean, a $15 toaster has TWO bread drives and the PS4 has zero. They are just being cheap and lazy. The technology exists. I'll stick to using my Wii U to play video games.

I've said it before and i'll say it again: either buy the Damn game or don't. Stop being so cheap and so whiney.

I never liked the Mii characters and/or costumes until I tried them out after the first round of DLC. Now, I love using the Mii fighters and the customization and variety is great. I look forward to more Mii costumes, as now, you can really have a great variety of Mii characters.

If people knew voice chat was not in the game before buying it, why did they buy it and then complain about the lack of voice chat?
