I'm not too fond of the list in this article. :s I feel like third party characters are a nice addition, but I would like a greater emphasis on Nintendo characters

I'm torn between downloading this or buying it at retail for twice the price . . .

@bluedogrulez wow that's crazy. I'm in Canada and I've only ever seen it for sale online for 50. I've never seen a physical copy in a physical store 😐

@imgrowinglegs nice! I'm a sucker for wasting money so I'll buy Scribblenauts despite not enjoying past entries and hearing terrible reviews for it. According to my other post I don't enjoy Lego games but they're all on sale so I might get one or two.

I do find this more strategic to play than Hyrule Warriors. This is an excellent game.

The cut scenes and voice acting in Detective Pikachu is quite cute and light hearted. He gameplay is okay, but the giant amiibo is awesome.

I'm over the LEGO games. I bought all of them up until LEGO Dimensions and have never completed one. I get caught up in the excitement of a new LEGO game, but never enjoy playing any of them. Only took me a million years to realize I don't enjoy them. Lol

I played Pokken Tournament because I wanted 5o try out Blastoise . . . Not a fan . . . But I LOVE Aegislash

Due to my low attention span I know I'll be playing a bunch of different games for short bursts. Last night, I played Skyrim and Bayonetta 2 on Switch and Demon' s Crest, Watch Dogs, and Mega Man 7 on my Wii U. For the rest of the weekend I'll be playing random Switch and Wii U games . . . Might even fire up my Xbox One or PS4 . . .

The games that automatically pop into my head are Pokken Tournament, Bayonetta 2, and Splatoon 2. Yes, I know you could have similar experiences on the Wii U with the games I mentioned, but so what? These games are fun at the core and that's what playing video games are about. 😀

Has anyone been searching Amazon Canada? There's a bunch of games listed ... such as "Square Enix Monster Energy Supercross" and several others

@XCWarrior I wouldn't call the starting storage for PS4 or Xbox One to be a "ton of space to start." I own both and both required an external hard drive after only a few physical games (due to mandatory installs and updates). I even needed to buy extra memory for my phone, PS Vita, 3DS, digital camera, etc.

I don't understand the problem. Xbox and PS4 requires installs for games, physical or digital. Once you run out of space on the console then you need external storage. Same thing with the Switch. Why is it a problem for Nintendo to do this but not for the others?

I love Pokken Tournament on the Wii U and still play it. I will definitely be downloading the Switch demo while I wait for my preorder to arrive.

It really is a fun game that has a lot of depth, if you put the time into it and not discredit it immediately. I probably spent at least 30 hours with this game (which is a big deal as my average is probably only 20 to 30 minutes per game).

I got the physical version at launch. I've only played a few hours, but it has been really good so far. Hopefully, it maintains momentum for the rest of the game.

I'll get back to it eventually. If you haven't tried it yet I suggest giving it a shot.

I've lost count of my DS systems .... I think I own and use 9 or 10 (I don't generally buy systems to keep in the box)???

But I really really want this one

@maceng my hotel was about $155 CAD per night in Shinjuku and the hotel was very nice . . . It was even during the cherry blossom festival so I thought it was an amazing price. I do have expensive tastes so maybe my perspective is different than the average person ..... for me, $155/night is dirt cheap, considering my average cost for hotels are close to $200/night

@DarkmarkUnited Granted,they werent for games likr Zelda but you could find a ton of cheap games used in amazing condition

I just came back from Japan a few months ago. The flight was dirt cheap and I had a gorgeous hotel right in the midst of everything. It might just be worth it to plan a trip there and enjoy the sites, Sounds, food, and everything else .... buying retro games would be a big bonus. Even used game stores had DS and Vita games for under $3 CAD.

I bought I Am Setsuna at regular price and it was worth it for the price (just a decent game imo, but still worth the price). At the discount it's more than worth it

@Fuz I usually don't follow online reactions to things too much until I've had a chance to experience it myself. Of course, the internet influences me but not to the extent as many others.

I just played the first 20 minutes of this game and I like it so far!!! The battle feels fluid and it seems like a game I would play more. Just need to stop playing and go to the gym for a bit

I had one preordered but had to cancel it .... I bought two of each of the new amiibos and they cost way too much .... Not to mention all the switch games I bought bills I have to pay .....

I've always preordered the lego games but never once enjoyed the gameplay for any of them. I'm vowing to never pay full price for a lego game again, starting with this one.

@-DG I read that those can be unlocked after you beat the game .... So you don't need to have the amiibo unless you want to unlock them early

I am using this service with Splatoon 2 now and have no issues with it whatsoever. It's actually a pretty neat little app that I will use regularly.

I have never heard of this series until recently and already have it preordered. Yes, I'm one of those people who buy way too many video games (I'll probably play it for less than a couple hours and put it away).

I'm amazed that anyone voted for "it was a bad day." I think even one of the announcements or trailers was enough to go past "bad."

I think I've spent way too much money on amiibos already ..... ugh .... still getting these, though!
