Re: Fortnite's 'Rainbow Royale' Celebrates LGBTQ+ Community With Music And Rainbows

Play fortnite with voice chat and the last thing you will find is respect with homosexual people.

It is awesome initiative, don't get me wrong, but if they really care with the well being of LGBTQ+ players, they need to start to take action against those awful homophobic players.

Raise a flag is cool, but concrete actions is what really protect people.

Re: "King Pokémon" Attracts The Ire Of Fans Over Comments Regarding Famous Artist's Signature

abdias

I didn't got it. People are angry because he said that the signature means nothing? Just that?

First It is not even his real signature, it is just his name in Latin letters.

Second, it was on a show about fiance, so "means nothing" is about monetary value, not about the artist or his work meaning nothing.

IDK why people are so dramatic when the subject is Video Game characters (especially pokemon). It is not religion for f. sake.

Re: Review: Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX - Vintage Sega Hero In Mediocre Remake

@Zidentia you don't even bother researching.
"Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is what one would call a labor of love. What began as two Alex Kidd fans recreating their favorite game, the project eventually got the attention and blessing from Sega. Developer Jankenteam, along with publisher Merge Games, is bringing the classic to life with completely revamped visuals and music."

It was a fan project at beginning, they got the licence after, and they don't care if you think that's too risky, they done that way anyway.
The the info that it is "too expensive" I don't know where you get from, because looks like that is not the case, as a local company here named TecToy release packs with hundreds of licenced Mega Drive/Master System games for very cheap every year, and TecToy is broken AF.

Re: Review: Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX - Vintage Sega Hero In Mediocre Remake

@Zidentia no, they had not to chose anything. The game was in development before Sega knew it existed. Sega would never make it, it was not their call. The terms are not clear (obviously) but probably the developer brought the license to release the game. Sega could have fallen in love with the project and authorized for free, but this is more unlikely.

Keep in mind that Sega is not even publishing the game, so even that Sega owns the Alex Kidd franchise, they have absolutely nothing to do with this project.

Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield Players Can Now Vote For The Next In-Game Distribution

abdias

@nhSnork the regular bottle cap make one of your pokemon IV perfect. The golden one make every IV perfect. On Ultra Moon you can do that on the blue store on the shopping mall, It should be the same on Moon (never played that version).

The requirement for that, aside of the bottle caps, is that you reach level 100 with your pokemon.

If you, or anyone reading this, dont know what an IV is, it is a mostly hidden value that every pokemon has for every stat. It ranges from 0 to 31, bigger number means better stats.

Re: A True Pokémon Master Has Defied The Odds And Collected Every Shiny Pokémon

abdias

It is hard, but not as hard as it sounds.

With raid exploit, shiny pokemon is incredible easy to get, and Japanese players got over the years all the mythical events.
Gen 4 have the cute charm method and gen 3 has the cloning glitch (so you get one, you get all the line).
Gen 7 SOS and ultra space wilds make many mons easy to get too.

Besides that we got pokemon go, where odds are ridiculously favorable as long as you are a paid player.

Some monsters are not in any of those categories, those are the hard ones.

Re: Round Up: The New Pokémon Snap Reviews Are In

@rjejr it should be very short. I am guessing that the impatient people like me will no play more than 8 or 10 hours. Photo perfectionist (wich is the actual target of this game) would sunk hundreds of hours on it tho.

Re: Random: Link's Breath Of The Wild House Is Set In A Surprisingly Divine Location

@Debo626 that's what I meant. You have to leave the last task always open to keep playing. Given the quality and the scale of that world, it would make sense to play after ganon.
This is not the same as a sequel, obviously. (And there is absolutely no info about the sequel that confirm that you start right after the calamity is destroyed, it could be a completely different map, who knows?)
