It was a fan project at beginning, they got the licence after, and they don't care if you think that's too risky, they done that way anyway.
The the info that it is "too expensive" I don't know where you get from, because looks like that is not the case, as a local company here named TecToy release packs with hundreds of licenced Mega Drive/Master System games for very cheap every year, and TecToy is broken AF.

@BlueOcean Exactly! Sega don't even care, they license everything for anyone and this is going one for decades. Just look how many products ATGames pulled out officially licensed by Sega. Many of those even have Alex Kidd in the Miracle World included.

@Zidentia no, they had not to chose anything. The game was in development before Sega knew it existed. Sega would never make it, it was not their call. The terms are not clear (obviously) but probably the developer brought the license to release the game. Sega could have fallen in love with the project and authorized for free, but this is more unlikely.

Keep in mind that Sega is not even publishing the game, so even that Sega owns the Alex Kidd franchise, they have absolutely nothing to do with this project.

They're making the game worse, and this says a lot, given that the game is awful already

@Zidentia Actually this game was not Sega's initiative. It was a independent project that happens to acquire the license from Sega.

Pokemon Cristal is better than Gold/Silver by far. The only advantage gold and silver have is that they are playable on Super Game Boy (and DMG Gameboy too)

Mini Metro is a ton of fun, it can go from a relaxing experience to a chaotic and punishing puzzle depending on how you choose to play.

I hope this one is as good as Mini Metro.

I like F1 a lot. Never ever miss a race (this since 1996), but I dont like rocket league, so it is pointless to me. The same goes other way around, people who like the game a lot, but don't care about F1 will see no reason to get.

@nhSnork the regular bottle cap make one of your pokemon IV perfect. The golden one make every IV perfect. On Ultra Moon you can do that on the blue store on the shopping mall, It should be the same on Moon (never played that version).

The requirement for that, aside of the bottle caps, is that you reach level 100 with your pokemon.

If you, or anyone reading this, dont know what an IV is, it is a mostly hidden value that every pokemon has for every stat. It ranges from 0 to 31, bigger number means better stats.

Now, I dont know that this calculator is good for, but maybe serves a purpose for some student out there.

now we have 3 shades of red joycons, a red lite that has 4th shade, one blue joycon witch has a different shade from the blue lite (that is not purple, but we have a purple joycon that is not GBA purple).

I am against the majority here as I indeed think that old games are the ones that benefit most of ray tracing, as the devs back then had not knologe on how simulate lights and computing power to do so.

the gameboy printer will work forever. Good luck printing on instax 20, 30 or 40 years for now, as it requires an app from this era and a smartphone from this era. Sure we have it now, but in the future we probably will not.

@Gumbo1995 back on january I was lvl 38 and had 5 or so shinies. I spent for the first time on the shiny mew event, and a "miracle" happened. I am over 40 shinies now and I am on lvl 39 (didn't played that much that's my point).

It is hard, but not as hard as it sounds.

With raid exploit, shiny pokemon is incredible easy to get, and Japanese players got over the years all the mythical events.
Gen 4 have the cute charm method and gen 3 has the cloning glitch (so you get one, you get all the line).
Gen 7 SOS and ultra space wilds make many mons easy to get too.

Besides that we got pokemon go, where odds are ridiculously favorable as long as you are a paid player.

Some monsters are not in any of those categories, those are the hard ones.

Shaping up to be the most sold console ever. Even with new gen, people just don't give up on that thing.

@rjejr it should be very short. I am guessing that the impatient people like me will no play more than 8 or 10 hours. Photo perfectionist (wich is the actual target of this game) would sunk hundreds of hours on it tho.

@Debo626 that's what I meant. You have to leave the last task always open to keep playing. Given the quality and the scale of that world, it would make sense to play after ganon.
This is not the same as a sequel, obviously. (And there is absolutely no info about the sequel that confirm that you start right after the calamity is destroyed, it could be a completely different map, who knows?)

@RupeeClock The instax line already exists, It works kinda like a polaroid. The paper has everything in it, the printer uses no toner or ink.
The prices for this paper (or film if you will) where I live is R$ 80,00 for a pack with 20. It is the same as 15 USD or 12 EUR in a direct conversion, but I bet it is less than that, as our taxes on imports are huge.
