I never spent a cent on this game until the mew event earlier this year. Out of 62 shiny that I have, only 8 I got before I spent real money, and I play since release (there was no shiny pkm early on but my point still applies)

@MatoFilipovic I think this game is indeed going away. That's Nintendo, and they do this kind of stuff. They discontinued NES and SNES mini when they were still selling a lot. If we go back more, they never sold GBA on 3DS, even that they got the roms ready (that ambassador program). They let a mountain of money go away and didn't care.

Without Mario 35 the NSO will become less appealing, but they just don't care. (and if they do, they can just press a button e fill the service with value from their back catalog).

You pay 20, play the game and 4 or less go to dog shelters...

Kid Icarus is awful. It's a boring on-rails shooter with a girl talking A LOT. When yoy get rid of the girl, other girl take her place. You can disable the voices only after you beat that crappy shooter.

I've been playing this update on pc, and I can't recommend enough. It was by far the best update yet. It is like the game had doubled it size (except dialogues, that are bigger now but not much).

@Lionyone I never played sea of thieves, so can't give my opinion but it is bellow 70 on metacritic, while perfect dark, 007, banjo kazooie, conker and dk64 are all above 90. Not that I am telling that metacritic is beyond mistakes, but it is an indicative of decline in quality and productivity.

@Pikachi9000 if it is shiny on home it is shiny on Sword/shield... Legit, cloned hacked, from gen 3, gen 7 or cell phone, if it is shiny there, it keeps shiny

@mariomaster96 it is easy indeed. The process to get a shiny legendary is just the same as regular for raid dens. Sometimes they made them uncatchable, but that's all.

@mariomaster96 I'm guessing that it will be like ultra space wilds. Once you found one, you can't find anymore. Now what will happen if you join a friend adventure after getting the legendary she/he is hosting I can't even guess. Currently they give poor catch rates for friends and 100% catch rates for the host (Except promo dens).

Also I don't think it will be any shiny lock. I may be wrong but they clearly don't care anymore at this point. Just look how easy is to get shiny dens today, and they did nothing about it.

If they don't fix the super exploitable RNG for raids it will no be appealing getting a shiny or a really strong monster.

@Rhaoulos yes, anyone can release a book, magazine, video, etc filled with Nintendo logos and assets as long as the purpose is information, be a guide or a criticism.

As examples, Mcdonald's and the Sea World have some very critical material available for years now on streaming platforms, with their logos all around, and the videos are still available.

But products without informative purposes are banned. You can't sell unauthorized pikachu toys for example.

@Kalmaro you don't need motion controls on handheld mode, as in this mode the tablet unit is the one that deals with the motion (even with regular joycons)

@JohnnyC Mario Kart 8 is awesome. The 2 players split screen is awesome, but with 3 or 4 players on same screen, the frame rates are so low that you better off playing a slide show. It is disgusting.

But... Mario Kart cellphone edition manage to be even worse.

@Agriculture that's 100% wrong. There are fiscal benefits to who produced goods inside our borders, but imported goods are not forbidden at all. This import ban was real in the past but it was 30 years ago.

@Yanina for me Stardew Valley opened a door that should be never be closed again. Lose half of possibilities just because you choose a gender on game's first screen makes no sense.

@beazlen1 I don't believe that galaxy 2 is included by any means, they would announced otherwise. When Nintendo made Star Fox 2 unlockable, they advertised a lot about it. So don't expect Galaxy 2 before March and consider that it may never come to Switch.

@MaxlRoseGNR if there were a hidden game we should know by now. Pirates have this game at least since Saturday, so nothing this big would go unnoticed for more than a couple of hours.

@Eel mine When I beated emerald on my og japanese cart I charged just once with one of those batteries. So I guess it lasts for about 10 to 12 hours
