Rocket League developer Psyonix has announced a new multi-year partnership with Formula 1 that'll see in-game goodies offered up to players.
To kick things off, a Formula 1 Fan Pack will be launching in Rocket League tomorrow, 20th May, and will be available on all platforms. The pack adds the official Formula 1 2021 Car with a unique decal, decals based on all ten F1 teams taking part in the real sport this year, and Pirelli wheels.
You'll be able to grab it from the Item Shop for 2000 Credits up until 26th May.

Here are the ten team liveries you'll be able use:
- Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN
- Scuderia AlphaTauri Honda
- Alpine F1 Team
- Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team
- Scuderia Ferrari
- Uralkali Haas F1 Team
- McLaren F1 Team
- Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team
- Red Bull Racing Honda
- Williams Racing
You'll also be able to pick up a Formula 1 Player Banner for free beginning tomorrow, and Psyonix notes that the Fan Pack will return to the game throughout the year "around future F1 events."

All the millions in the bank and this is the best they can come up with to attract younger audiences to the sport...
What's with all the F1 interest lately it seems?
Guess I gotta check out that Formula 1: Drive to Survive documentary series on Netflix at some point... think there's some correlation lol.
@nocdaes Marginally more exciting than the borefest that F1 races have become.
I guess if they paid me $20 I might drive around with F1 corporate advertisements, or garbage Nascar ads. Asking me to pay to advertise is ridiculous though. Why would I want an ugly Ford truck in a futuristic vehicle sports game?! I would like electric vehicles in Rocket League though (but not pay $20 to advertise a Bolt, Ioniq, or Tesla!). I love Rocket League though!
Yeah, I'll get this F1 car pack. RL site said they use dominus hitbox. And I'll use content creator code Sotus or Sand. There are other good creators, but I've been watching them and Mr-Napkin lately.
I check in on F1 here and there. Monaco race is this week.<3
I like F1 a lot. Never ever miss a race (this since 1996), but I dont like rocket league, so it is pointless to me. The same goes other way around, people who like the game a lot, but don't care about F1 will see no reason to get.
So, what's their objective with that?
I have literally never heard of formula 1. Is it just standard racing?
@Low_ink It is probably the biggest racing league in the world with the fastest cars. There are 10 teams with 2 drivers each and most countries with a race typically will only host 1 race a year. The owners of the league have been making huge pushes to promote F1 to worldwide audiences with things like a Netflix show (Drive to Survive) and a very large social media presence. This is just another part of their efforts to make F1 more attractive to younger audiences after the previous owner disregarded them
@IronHammersFC Ah, so it's Nascar's replacement! By different people, of course. While I don't enjoy watching races it is good that they are trying to stay alive. In that case it's a smart decision on their part todo this collaboration!
Looks cool. Hopefully down the line they release some retro liveries. Would love a 1998 or 1999 Jordan car to drive around in.
@Low_ink 'F1 is a Nascar's replacement trying to stay alive'?! I'm so lost with that comment
@Fidodemo As someone uninterested in sports all information I have comes from my dad. Every time he watches Nascar races he bemoans the fact that there's hardly any interest any more. I had never even heard of formula 1. I am an outsider slightly peering in to the world of racing, what's so hard to understand?
