The new ones have a pad indented, and the traces inside do not scratch unless you force with a knife or a screwdriver. I doubt they will drift unless you intentionally do it (and people do this for likes)
The old ones on other hand, do drift a lot and it is not user's fault at all. The old ones deserve a free fix from Nintendo.
this "SUP" gameboy is one of the chepest emulation consoles with screens you can fint. It costs something like $3. It was a clever idea from the criminals to hide a $20,000 circuit inside there.
I don't get the point of the Mega Drive availability on NSO service. There is a collection with more games already available (and cheap) and many titles are on sega ages.
I'll raise this point again: the American copies has less historical value, as their box and manual artwork are not envisioned by the game creators. Sometimes even in game there are sprites that were not made by creators (this apart of text translations that often are censored and modified at the overseas marketing division's will). Even with that in mind, American copies cost a lot more for whatever reason.
I have a mclassic for a while now, it only servers the purpose of "correcting" a signal coming from my OSSC. The quality improvement is extremely marginal. Not worth it.
there is info about if the controller is rechargeable or use alkaline batteries?
IMO it is the major weakness of wavebird.
About the classical layout, well, the bootleg wavebirds are still easy to find brand new on China, most are crappy, some are indistinguishable from the original, that's an alternative. If you have a broken wavebird, you can swap membranes, in that case even the crappy ones will be awesome.

@valharian on google search for e-shop prices. It is a webpage that tells where the game you want is cheaper. Each game is different, there is not a place that wins everywhere, things change everyday too. That said, Argentina and Brazil usually are the best for e-shop only games, while Asia and Australia very often are the cheaper for the big triple A games.
@Moroboshi876 my international credit card works just fine on their eShop. Maybe because my country share borders with Argentina, or maybe any international credit card will do.
You can always buy a local prepaid credit card, but it is too much trouble to save few bucks IMO.
@RupeeClock to add to this trivia, the ultra ball in the original language was translated to English to "beast ball" which is a pretty dumb name. (I guess that the localization team have not much choice)
I don't even speak English, but look... The story is about a person that made a pokemon snap themed controller, but since it is the internet, the comments are revolving around pronouns, because apparently even pronouns has politics in them nowadays.
And hey look: I used "THEM". Will you try to kill me now?
@KingMike what you said don't change the fact that the NES version is not the original version, is is an altered version by an overseas marketing company, therefore worth historically much less than the Famicom version.
I don't know nothing about books, but I guess that as general rule an very old Divine Comedy transcript worth more if it is in Italian than in English.
Also, rarity is non existent for Super Mario Bros anywhere. Exclude the duck hunt version and you still get millions produced.
Among other things, the American copy lacks historical value, as it is a re-release. The creator's original vision is all on Japanese copy. If the Japanese artwork is better or not is something subjective, but objectively speaking it was created by the creators and not by an overseas marketing division.
If you have a internet browser that supports translation, you can get a CIB Super Mario Bros for the Famicom (without shipping) for around 1100¥ (around 10 Trumps).
Even that the game reaches 60FPS ever so often, the FPS is not stable at all. I wonder how they measured it as it is not the case in any instance of a normal gameplay, any room on the game (this is a measured fact).
@Spiders you can speed up the battle as normal on switch version, it is a really faithful port. Cross-save sadly is not a thing but aside of that, both versions are completely integrated.
About the steam deck, the pc version will need an update to work as good as the switch version without a mice. On switch version there are visual aids on every screen for what button does what. Those are missing on PC for the most part.
This game is awesome, I play on pc and was waiting for a portable way to play, now we have it.
On performance side, it plays far from 60 fps. For those who came from the pc version it is easily noticeable, but I bet that who never played before will not even fell.
@riChchestM IMO, Sword/Shield makes you feel tired very soon. Those remakes are not meant for competitions, but in family battles will work just fine, and the fact that they are not worried about balancing the pvp aspect of the game now is a good thing, they can go crazy with the movesets for example. I believe that your daughter either lives with you or communicate a lot with you, so you will have no problems creating rules to make your battles fun.
For battle people who you don't know on internet Sword/Shield probably will be better, but I believe that is not your focus.
this nerf thing is a dumb toy, kids play one afternoon with it then forget its existence for good, now for this game, they deserve a benefit of the doubt or should we assume that it will be dumb as well?
@Gamecuber I dont know what is happening there, 8bitdo controllers are supposed to work docked. Try the following:
1- turn on your switch docked and go to "change controller grip"
2- with the 8bitdo turned off hold Y and press start to turn it on, when it turn on release both buttons
3- if anything shows on screen press the sync button (not all 8bitdo have this button)
4- if the thing still is not working try to update the controller firmware and repeat the above
if it not solve your problem, contact their support. They're very good, and often fix/exchange for free, but there is the shipping cost for china that may or may not be expansive on your region
Hundreds of years ago, UK was known for destroying cultures and killing people for money. Now the former imperialist power is known for wasting money building ugly 25 meter hills. It is way better today IMO.

Still a awesome driver tho.
