Re: Video: That Super Mario Direct Was Lovely, If A Tad Predictable

@RupeeClock took 23 years (and some luck) to modders finally implement widescreen on Mario 64, and this was done outside emulation evoirement, this was 2 years ago. So, today, I can't agree with that:

"it's possible to produce a 16:9 image for older 4:3 3D games with little issue"

I respect your opinion tho

Re: Nintendo Reminds Us The Switch Online Service Now Has Over 80 Classic Games

@TheFullAndy I understand your point, but it is very based on your personal library. I have 500+ SNES games and almost 120 Master System games (I really like sega more on 8bit). Switch online games are no appealing for me (yes it is cool to have those games portable, but the emulation is far from accurate). On other hand I have almost no 3D game, and Xbox game pass works on pc, so for me it is an amazing deal. I am playing flight Simulador a lot this week, and after that I can play zoo tycoon, streets of rage 4 and so on.

TLDR: I agree with you but your value is not everyone value

Re: The Nintendo Switch Is Officially Launching In Brazil

@TG16_IS_BAE here we have tons of ways to buy switch related stuff, some are 100% legal, but most are not. Due to the pandemic, our currency lost value and the main gray market route is closed (wich is our border with Paraguay) so the prices are insanely high right now.

Re: Shaun The Sheep's Switch Party Game Is Getting One Of The Cheapest Physical Editions We've Seen

@okimoki because people do have kids. Unwrap a physical game do matter a lot for small kids, specially if a character they love is on the cover (it's safer too as you are not putting them on internet).

And, think about it, some adults often buys character based dolls (that obviously do no include any game) and nobody cares, so why should you care about people buying a physical video game?

Re: PSA: Remember To Update Your Joy-Con, As Well As Your Nintendo Switch

@nessisonett vibration patterns, analog axis behavior, dead zones, analog linearity, sensibility, connection behavior, auto-sleep time. Those are the parameters I can think of. There is also the IR sensor that is not much used RN, and the notification light that is not used at all.

There is a lot to be done on controllers updates, that's why first party (sony, ninty and MS) and good third party (logitech, 8bitdo, etc) always release updates for their controllers.

Re: Game Freak Adds Item To Pokémon Sword And Shield That "Doesn't Exist" Yet

@nessisonett it is not clear if it was a programming mistake or not. First, that crap anime came 1 year after the gen 1 debut, so the game didn’t use it as reference. Also every gen 1 ghost is poison type as well so it wasn’t meant for you to use ghosts against psychic.

On other hand there are npcs talking about ghosts being strong against psychic, so we just don’t know it it was or not intended, and if the error was on the guy who coded or the guy who wrote the npcs lines.
