@Razieluigi there is definitely a ton of slowdown in the SNES games that have never been there before. It seems to randomly come and go and the games have eaten my inputs as a result.

If it weren't for the video I wouldn't have known the game was 720p docked. But of course now that the information is out there people will use it as ammunition in "arguments" on the internet.

@ThanosReXXX Ah, I never had anything like that. Eventually I started storing my games in old camera equipment bags to keep them safe and take them over to friend's houses. Nowadays I just keep all my SNES and N64 games in a locked filing cabinet.

Honestly if I had kept all the boxes from all the SNES, N64, Game Boy games I have I'd have no place to store them lol.

@ThanosReXXX I used to keep all my games in their original boxes for the longest time. But constantly taking them out and putting them back in wore the boxes out so much that I eventually just had to throw them away because they were falling apart.

I always wished that Nintendo would've gone the Sega route and went with the plastic cases, those things were cool.

Haven't noticed anything yet, I've had mine since last July.

Everyone's complaining that games aren't coming out more frequently, meanwhile I barely have time to get through my backlog (on Switch alone) and Octopath Traveler is a week away.

So I'm kind of good for now.

@Aaron09 That's one of my primary concerns after playing the new demo. So far in chapter 1 at the very least there's not any meaningful interaction between the characters. I'm hoping that changes once everyone is recruited.

Not a deal breaker but it kind of bummed me out when I realized there wasn't really any meaningful interaction between Primrose and Olberic in the new demo. I was curious how they would play off of each other.

@onex I don't think I've actually seen them get any use out of the DS4 gyro outside of Infamous: Second Son and the Gravity Rush games.

It just boggles my mind that they have the tech but don't give us the option to take advantage of it.

@onex The 3DS, Wii U and especially the Switch have really spoiled me with gyro aiming.

I tried playing Horizon a bit a few months back and the lack of gyro for aiming was really throwing me off. You'd figure that's a feature that would be optional in most PS4 games, since the controller is definitely capable of it.

@Arnold-Kage At the rate things are going I don't think there's any surprises left.

Not a game I'm interested in at all, but it's good for the Switch to get a big game like this.

His name is Wire Sponge. Yeah it's kind of weird he's on there. I Would have gone with Flame Stag or Magna Centipede to accompany Morph Moth as the X2 representatives.

It's odd that X3 isn't represented but all the other 2D games are.

I have it pre-ordered but Amazon seemingly didn't have enough supply to meet demand, so I'm not sure when it'll eventually ship.

Amazon has really been dropping the ball lately on the video game side of things.

I'm getting the physical version of Battle Chasers next week when that comes out.

Mega Man X is my favorite game of all time. It's something I still regularly play since I first slapped it into my SNES back in 1994.

Though as tempting as this is I think I'll have to pass, $100 is way too much for something I'm never going to take out of the box and use.

Never really played X8, but that one seemed to try to go back to basics. There's a dumb armor break mechanic that slows down the flow though.

I picked up a couple 200GB cards for $50 a pop during the Black Friday sales last year, so I'm set for a while. I don't really see myself filling up a 200GB card anytime soon anyway, since I mostly buy physical.

I have a feeling that by the time I need to upgrade to a larger SD card, the 400GB cards will be a lot more affordable.

I think I might finally pull the trigger on checking out this series.

I've always liked the art style/animation.

It amazes me that retailers still carry these things.

Back when I first got my Switch I had considered getting one of these, but then I started reading reviews and saw way too many horror stories about the thing killing systems.

@Dizzy_Boy WWE is the alleged reason the Switch port was pushed out before it was ready in the first place.

They don't care about quality, the current state of the main roster's booking could tell you that much.

This is the same company that released the "complete" version of Dynasty Warriors 8 on Steam and it has I think somewhere around $100+ worth of DLC.

After the atrocious FFVI "remake"(the only thing FFVI got for its 20th anniversary no less), I haven't trusted Square with any of their classic games.

There's no respect for the art or the legacy these games have. It just serves to get Squeenix a quick buck with the least amount of effort possible.

It boggles my mind that people would go out of their way to defend this garbage.

These games deserve better.

I remember getting this game in 1993 and putting it into my SNES for the first time. It absolutely blew my 7 year old mind and served as the gateway to me becoming a Star Wars fan.

I still think it has the best soundtrack and overall tone in the entire series, even if the visuals haven't aged particularly well.

Video games aren't a good long term investment. Especially since they often get re-released for later systems.

If they didn't get ported to the Switch they'd be ported to something else down the line.

The Switch is one of the fastest selling consoles in history, eclipsing the Wii U's lifetime sales in less than a year. It will have a much larger install base by the end of this year than the Wii U did. Barely anyone bought a Wii U, these ports are for those people and those of us who would like to experience them again with the convenience of the Switch.
