@Zeldafan79 I can feel the frame rate drop at times through the controls. The game dropping 30 frames means that the game is less responsive and commands don't go through as quickly. There's been times where I was going to a different area and fell down a hole because the frame rate dropped and I missed the timing for Roc's Feather.
It's not unplayable but it's a shame because it takes me out of the experience.
I honestly think they should have just locked the game at 30.
They should have just delayed the game. I already played through and beat the PC version, gave up on the Switch version after it crashed for the fifth time.
@Retron This is the same company that butchered Final Fantasy VI and had to release multiple patches for the PC version of Chrono Trigger to bring it up to par with the SNES original.
@AxeltheCorvikni Fatal Fury(the anime in particular) played a big part in my high school years, so when I saw that Terry was in Smash my mind was blown.
Having played Gunvolt I'm still scratching my head as to how people compare it to Mega Man X in terms of gameplay.
Because it has wall jumping? Other than that the games have entirely different play styles.
Hearing people compare it to the X series is what initially drew me to the series and I was kind of disappointed when I actually got some hands-on time with it.
That's not to say I think the Gunvolt games are bad... they just don't scratch that Mega Man X itch for me. Then again, nothing other than Mega Man X ever really has.
@Old_Man_Nintendo Just because you played it doesn't mean everyone did. If anyone wants to get that game and play it legally now they can't, because it was digital only.
Already have played some Blaster Master Zero 2. It's a lot tougher than the first one was. Trying to figure out how exactly some of the boss fights are supposed to work.
So far I've figured out that new lock-on attack Jason has seems to be the main mechanic to use in most situations.
Wasn't able to get mine at launch. I missed pre-orders and actually couldn't find one until about July 2017.
I had my Breath of The Wild limited edition sitting on my shelf for months... teasing me. At least in that time I was able to beat NieR: Automata(my personal game of the year for 2017) and Persona 5.
Finally getting the Switch and booting up BoTW for the first time was cathartic.
Since then I've mostly been just playing games on Switch, it's one of my all time favorite systems at this point.
I was honestly taken aback by how good this showcase was.
I'm interested in pretty much everything that was showcased (I really want to play Astral Chain) and I know I'm not gonna have the time to play all of it. And there are likely more announcements and release dates to come around E3.
I figured 2019 was probably gonna be a big year for Nintendo, but I didn't expect this much from the first direct of the year.

Re: Video: 16 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In October
I've already bought too many games in a short period of time that I don't have enough time to play... so I'll pass for October.

Re: Review: Devil May Cry 2 - The Series Nadir Isn't Worth Bothering With On Switch
It wasn't worth bothering with on PS2 either.

Re: Review: Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition - Death’s A Fine Way To Make A Living
Does this have a performance mode like Warmastered did on Switch?
Re: Random: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Is About Video Games, So Don't Expect Goku Or Iron Man
Technically Goku already is in the game in the form of Lucario(same English VA).
Re: That Hidden LED Light On Your Nintendo Switch Controller Finally Has A Use
@Scorchio Only reason I knew was because Steam uses them when you hook up the controllers to a PC.
Re: Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore Dances Onto Switch Early Next Year
Hopefully this game will get more recognition this time around. It's got a great combat system.

@Old_Man_Nintendo PT and Scott Pilgrim say hi.
Re: Castle Crashers Remastered Brings Cartoon Beat 'Em Up Action To The Switch Next Month
One of the best co-op games ever made on the easiest console to transport ever? Yeah, I'm grabbing this.
It's a great game for get togethers.
Re: Round Up: Is Astral Chain A "Platinum-Plated Masterpiece" Or "Flavourless Disappointment"?
Who the hell are 'The Independant' and why are they giving a game that functions so well a 1 out of 5?
Seriously in my mind a 1 would mean the game is so broken and badly made that it's unplayable.
Whoever that guy is has no credibility in my eyes.
Re: Review: Grandia HD Collection - Two Classic Games, Shoddily Remastered
@HeroOfCybertron In simple terms, it's tweaking certain things in games to make them less tedious.
Re: EA Looking To Bring More Of Its Successful Games To Switch
Other than the Mass Effect trilogy they have nothing I would want.
Re: Review: Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered - Blowing Things Up Never Gets Old
I think I'll grab it down the line when it's on sale. Enjoyed this game a ton on 360, never beat it though.
Re: Video: Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Launch Trailer Shows Off Shovel Knight Collab
The 720p 30 docked revelation is news to me. That's a huge bummer.
Re: Nintendo Shares Colourful Graphic Outlining Upcoming Switch Releases
Surprised Bloodstained isn't on there.
Re: Nintendo's Market Value Drops By $1 Billion After Animal Crossing Switch Delay
The market is dumb.

Love that they got Cary Tagawa to play Shang Tsung.

I don't get these Funko Pop things.

Re: Bandai Namco Ending Online Service For Wii U Exclusive Lost Reavers On 30th May
So as one of the five people who own a Wii U... I never even heard of this game.
Re: Want Resident Evil On Your Switch? You'd Better Have Deep Pockets
Seriously Capcom, what the hell?
Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield Revealed For Nintendo Switch, New Starters Shown
"It's not Pokemon: Breath of The Wild".
Thank. God.
I only have so much time, not every game has to be a 200 hour open world time vampire. Linearity is not a bad thing.
Re: Video: Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster And XII: The Zodiac Age Get New Switch Trailers
@Quincy Yeah games are getting stupidly huge these days.
Re: 1TB Micro SD Cards Are About To Hit Stores, Perfect For Your Switch Storage Woes
Yeah, think I'll stick with my 200GB for now.
If anything I might eventually pick up a 400GB card, but I'm in no rush.
Re: Rumour: Joker's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Stage Seemingly Datamined
I was figuring it was going to be the casino, since that's probably the most prolific dungeon in the game.
It would be neat if the stage starts in Mementos but it transitions between the other palaces.
Re: Reggie Fils-Aime Is Retiring After 15 Notable Years At Nintendo of America
Wow, end of an era.
Re: The Legend Of Zelda And Famicom Disk System Are 33 Years Old Today
I was born the year The Legend of Zelda came out.
Seeing stuff I grew up with having 20 and 30 year anniversaries the last few years has been really weird.
Re: Yacht Club Games Has Delayed Shovel Knight: King Of Cards
@WaveBoy Shovel Knight released in 2014.
Re: Yacht Club Games Has Delayed Shovel Knight: King Of Cards
These guys have earned my respect and money several times over, if they need more time to get the final expansions out then I'm fine with that.
Re: Rumour: PlatinumGames' Scalebound Is Being Revived As a Nintendo Switch Exclusive
@ThatNyteDaez Apparently Microsoft gave up the trademark.
Re: Talking Point: Is The Remake Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Worth $60?
@Haywired Unless it's a 60-100 hour open world time vampire it's never worth the price to some people.
I miss when shorter linear games that had tons of replay value were more popular.
Re: Rumour: PlatinumGames' Scalebound Is Being Revived As a Nintendo Switch Exclusive
If this is true then that's huge.
Also, if it's true that means the Switch potentially has three major Platinum exclusives in the pipeline.
Bayo 3, Astral Chain and now possibly Scalebound.
Re: Studio Head Of PlatinumGames Talks About Astral Chain In Official Blog Post
Just put it in my veins.

Great showcase, really interested what E3 has in store.

Re: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Emerges From The Shadows This Summer
They definitely polished up the visuals a lot more since the last time they showed it off.
Really looking forward to this one as well.
2019 is gonna be a stacked year for my Switch.
Re: Final Fantasy IX Is Out On Switch Right Now, Final Fantasy VII Launches 26th March
So this is what... the third time I've bought this game?
Second favorite game in the series behind VI.
Re: Game Boy Classic Zelda: Link's Awakening Is Getting Remastered For Switch
Not really sold on the art style but I am so excited for this.
Re: PlatinumGames Is Bringing Astral Chain To Switch This August
Oh boy howdy I want this game.
Re: Dragon Quest XI S: Definitive Edition Brings Exclusive Content To Switch
The fact that it has a fully orchestrated soundtrack sold me on this version.
Re: All Secret SNES Data Has Just Been Removed From Nintendo Switch Online's NES App
@ReaderRagfihs Only thing I remember about the Jaguar were the commercials. Don't think I ever knew somebody who owned one.
Re: Square Enix Producer Retweets Nintendo Direct Announcement, Sends Speculation Into Overdrive
@Linoshi So you'll lose it in the 9S way?
Re: Square Enix Producer Retweets Nintendo Direct Announcement, Sends Speculation Into Overdrive
Likely an FFVII & IX shadow drop if anything.
I highly doubt Kingdom Hearts is gonna be happening.
