The Water Temple isn't even hard, it's just annoying. When I was a kid it was always the dungeon I dreaded the most because of the constant water level changing and boot swapping. It's the dungeon that would always start to make me lose interest in the game every time I replayed it.

The 3DS version basically fixed the issues I had with it at least.

@Edu23XWiiU It's Jennier Hale, one of the most prolific and sought after VAs in the industry. There's no way she's only doing this role for $4k.

There's something more going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. The whole situation is strange.

My Wii U died earlier this year so... yeah I'd like these on Switch.

@CharlieGirl Persona 5 will be physical. 4 and 3 are digital only on all platforms.

This was a legitimately shocking reveal, doubly so because it looks like a native port rather than a cloud version.

I've had mine since July of 2017, aside from joycon drift the system itself is still working just as well as it has been since I got it.

The backplate has some minor scratches on it, but other than that it's in great condition.

So naturally they're going to make the plethora of Virtual Console titles that aren't available legally anywhere else on the Switch now right?

@Crockin Ocarina of Time 3D is the better definitive version of the game. So I'd rather just play that on my 3DS.

Mega Man, Pac-Man, Terry Bogard, Cloud, Sephiroth, Sonic, Banjo, Simon/Richter Belmont, Solid Snake, Ken, Ryu and now Sora.

This game has basically became what me and all my friends wanted it to be when the original came out in 1999. It's absolutely insane the mountains Nintendo and Sakurai had to move to make this happen.

Nothing will ever top this roster, no future Smash games will ever be able to live up to it.

@Neopolitan In Japan it's always been pretty big, but it wasn't until World that it became one of Capcom's big tentpole franchises.

@Cheez FFX was one of those "you had to be there" games. Unless you played it at the time it probably wouldn't have the same impact as it did back in 2001(I'm so old).

I'm sure a lot of the people who voted for X were those who played it when it first came out.

I'm not a huge fan of the game, but I still have some nostalgia for it just because it was one of my first PS2 games.

All the more reason they should port the 3DS versions of Ocarina and Majora to their modern platform.

Fortunately I upgraded to a refurbished New 3DS from Nintendo just before they stopped selling those. So that will at least prolong the life of my 3DS collection for a while... provided nothing breaks.

The SNES version was one of my favorite SNES games I never owned growing up. It was painfully hard but that soundtrack was well worth the pain.

Astro's Playroom is fantastic.

For a game that only exists to show off the Dualsense tech it has no right to be as good as it is.

I beat the final boss and legitimately felt upset that it was over so soon.

Just recently upgraded to a New 3DS from my old XL model a couple months ago and the improvements to 3D are amazing.

Decided to play Majora's Mask for Halloween and I'm reminded how much I loved my 3DS. It was my primary gaming device for a couple years.

I don't do online Smash.

Generally I play it with friends at get-togethers. Which means I haven't really played Smash since last February.

These are the versions of the games I grew up with, so I'm really happy with this.

VI but not the GBA version.

The soundtrack sounds awful on GBA.

SNES all the way.

It still upsets me there is no "definitive" version of VI that doesn't have issues.

@tourjeff They would have to figure out how to shrink down the tech that makes it possible though, which definitely wouldn't happen by 2021.

Deep Learning Super Sampling.

In simplest terms it lets you render games at a lower resolution and then AI scales the image up too look higher rez.

For instance you can render a game at something like 540p but it'll look like it's 1080p. It can improve performance significantly in game on PC, in some cases up to 70%.

Basically it's magic.

What we need is Nvidia to come up with a Tegra chip that can do DLSS 2.0.

That would be a major game changer.

4k is doubtful, but pulling off 720 & 1080p 60 would be a whole lot easier.

Time for everyone to get their hopes up and complain if it either doesn't happen or if it does happen and isn't what they wanted.

It still boggles my mind how badly this port turned out.

There are games far more demanding that have been well optimized on the Switch that didn't need to cut as many corners as this game did.

It should have just been delayed. I would have gladly double dipped later on for a portable version of the game that looked good and ran well.

I wanted to love this game so much, but those controls just killed it.

I love Star Fox, it was my gateway into science fiction as a kid. When Zero was announced I was overjoyed to finally have a new game in the series.

I finished one playthorugh, tried another but just finally got sick of fighting the control scheme and never touched it again.

@liveswired On a technical standpoint 64 is obviously superior. SNES however has the better music and atmosphere as far as I'm concerned.

The setting in SNES was really dark and gritty. The first time I lost one of my wingmen in that game was shocking to be sure. I was shocked to see them just... blow up. No flying away to get repairs like in 64, if you didn't protect your wingmen in SNES they died and it was permanent.

That left an impression on me as a kid.

This is one of the newer games that I'm most interested in and they didn't even put it in the Western direct.

Mass Effect Trilogy, that's all I'd want.

Knowing EA they'd find some way to screw it up though.

I could have sworn that was over two years ago.

This year has really screwed with my perception of time.

My copy of Xenoblade is delayed until next week, so Shantae for me.

So far it's fun and I like the new quick transformations.

Each of those games have their soundtracks burned into my memory.

@the_beaver Rogue Squadron 2 & 3 being stuck on the Game Cube is such a shame.

Those games need to come to modern platforms.

Right now I've got FF7R, Persona 5 Royal, Sakura Wars, Streets of Rage 4 and soon Xenoblade and Shantae in my backlog.

I can wait on a direct for a bit.

Shantae and Xenoblade are my games for May.

@Anvold Families in quarantine together, maybe with only one TV. With Switches you don't have to keep the TV held up to play games when someone might want to use it for something else.

I use my paypal and have 2 step verification as a countermeasure.

I learned my lesson from the 2011 PSN debacle (funny how a lot of people seem to have forgotten about that).

@Heavyarms55 This really isn't a Warriors game with a Persona coat of paint. I played the demo, it's a straight up action RPG that has real time combat instead of turn based during battles.

This is so much better than what we're getting in North America.

I'm sticking with my inital pre-order of the standard edition. It was the last game I ordered with my Best Buy Gamer's Club.

@GameOtaku Those diseases weren't as infectious as this thing is.

There is also no vaccine, if you have a compromised immune system (I have a cousin who has asthma and this can easily kill him) or are over a certain age this thing can be lethal. They're trying to stop the spread to keep it contained so that it doesn't overwhelm the medical system like it has in Italy.

That is what the primary concern is, the healthcare system being so overwhelmed to the point where doctors are forced to decide who gets life saving treatment and who doesn't due to lack of beds/ventilators.

The lack of it kind of killed my enthusiasm for the game back when it came out.

@technotreegrass I remember when I was a kid and the internet was some mythical thing that barely anyone had access to. Now everyone and their dog is connected.

This and VI need to be done justice after the travesty of those mobile versions.

@BanjoPickles People put it above VI because it was more popular basically.

It was the big new 3D game on Sony's new console that introduced the mainstream to JRPGs for the first time.

@SeantheDon29 Having the DS games stuck on a DS/3DS screen is a massive shame.

Capcom made it work with the Zero/ZX collection, but I doubt Konami would put that much effort into it.

VI is in the top 3, which makes me happy.
