I like that the classic games will now feature online. Iirc when they first announced it, you'd have access to one classic game a month, then it'd be gone. Now it's an ongoing compilation. This, I can get into.
The only glitch I've gotten wasn't so helpful. I was in the northwest maze when the blood moon came. When it came back to me, I couldn't see anything but I was taking damage fast. I realized that the red sticky stuff with the eyes had spawned all around and on top of me after jumping and trying to move around. More jumping and Link suddenly was holding onto an edge that wasn't there before, and then I fell - through the bottom of the world, with the maze above me. I glided down and snapped a few trippy photos before I died. I respawned and all was ok.
It's pretty common for actors to put on a "non-regional dialect" no matter where they come from, which is what I'd blame any discomfort re her accent on. I didn't mind it tbh
If Nintendo finds a way to make a profit and keep in business, I don't mind Switch becoming a Nintendo-and-indies-and-occasional-3rd-party machine that I can play on the go. I also have a PS4 and the catalogue is so robust that it really puts things in perspective. I'd be kind of surprised to see Nintendo catch up. So I've stopped looking at this as a race between the consoles. It's sad, of course, to have less 3rd party options for my Switch, but it's not the end of the world. Nintendo isn't going bankrupt and my Switch isn't becoming less fun. When a 3rd party multiplatform game comes out on Switch, I lean toward the Switch version because of portability and because I want to support the publishers who gave it a shot. For those who can't afford both a Switch and another system, that's a problem, however, which really sucks.
I preordered Lego City Undercover! Everyone says it's great and it looks great, they say they improved load times, I missed it on Wii U, co-op sounds fun, and I wanna support 3rd party efforts. This is me justifying an expensive purchase but I mean what I say! Also glad I got it with the Prime Preorder bonus. I don't know if I'd wanna get it for $60.
I wonder when the Switch shop will start having sales. Would love a discount if you buy multiple titles from a set, like ACA or the Tomorrow Corp games.
I got Metal Slug 3. It's the first time I've played it. And yeah, these issues are making it difficult enough to feel immersed and truly learn what makes it so great. Especially with Zelda on the same system. I think I'll wait til it's patched to play again.
I'm glad I preordered with the Prime discount! This set looks cool. I heart paper instruction manuals. Let's put those clips inside the Switch game boxes to use!
Just to add my own story to the mix, I had heard they'd have some Sunday March 5 at Toys R Us... I went there before they opened and was 7th in line. Turns out they had about 104 consoles altogether, more than enough for everyone who had lined up. I hope it bodes well for the future availability of the console for everyone else. The NES Classic Edition, on the other hand...
My answer is that I'm gonna try to buy a Switch on launch day (not at midnight) at Nintendo NY since they said they'd have a comfortable supply... maybe I'm naive but a boy can dream. And I'll get Bomberman if the reviews are good, but I already got Zelda and 1-2 Switch preordered.
Seems like a flaw if I have to come to a comment thread to figure that out instead of it being obvious in the game. Fyi I haven't played the game but that's my two cents.
Maybe you should make it more obvious from the start that there is a difficulty slider that they're setting all the way up and what that means for the gameplay
