Among the glut of launch releases on the Switch eShop, VOEZ stood out as rather unique. It's a portable-only game as it uses the Switch touchscreen and it delivers over 100 songs and rhythm gameplay; we were very impressed with it in our VOEZ review.
The game may move up some wishlists - or at least get a little more attention once again - with an update scheduled to go live on 1st June. The free update will add another 18 songs, a welcome addition to the hefty line-up already included; you can check out a preview of the content below.
Are you a VOEZ fan looking forward to the free update, or perhaps on the fence and now a little more tempted to jump in? Let us know in the comments.

Nice. Been starting to get the urge for a bit of a VOEZ fix so this is pretty perfect timing. Look forward to giving all the new songs a go.
I haven't even gone through half of these songs yet, this game has a staggering amount of content (even if the songs feel samey). Good deal.
I love the songs in this game quite a bit especially the theme song Colourful Voice.
Not bad. I haven't been completely head over heels for this game, but it's kept me busy. I probably will check out these new songs.
EDIT: Gotta admit though, when my own personal playlist won't cut it anymore, I've taken to just putting Voez on and just listening to some of its songs as a nice little change. xD
A welcome surprise! I haven't even played all the songs already in there, and I got the game at launch! Maybe I should play less MK8...
I like rhythm games, but I can't get past the music in the trailer video - I didn't hear anything I liked.
This is a great game!
I tried it out on iOS, before buying it on Switch and was a bit disappointed that some of the songs I liked a lot were missing. Hopefully they are added now.
Plus, you can sort songs by genre in the iOS version. I hope they add that function as well.
Was really hoping for some mandopop....I play mostly on switch for the nicer screen, but I have installed on ios still because it's missing Chinese songs on Switch. Different publisher, different licenses. :3
I need to buy this game still.
Just bought it last night! Not everything is to my personal taste, but what's there is the frantic reflex-test genre that I adore.
Love it and love that they are adding free updates instead of making you buy the songs instead, far surpasses the mobile version already lol
I wish they let us choose favorite songs like Future Tone does, with a tracklist that long it could really be a useful feature.
Anyway, I will be on the lookout for this update.
