It's time for another Nintendo Download Update in North America, and this week has a busy line-up. On Switch we have a retail release, three titles from Tomorrow Corporation and another ACA Neo Geo title, while there are a lot of options across the Wii U and 3DS to consider. Let's get to it.
Nintendo Switch Retail Download
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ (Nicalis, $39.99 / $49.99CAD) - The final and ultimate iteration of this title, it includes all of the key expansions in one place along with selected mods from the PC scene that will be added by the developers in 'booster packs'. It's a whole lot of Isaac, basically, with an impressive range of room configurations, weapons and broader variations to explore.
Nintendo Switch eShop
World of Goo (Tomorrow Corporation, $9.99 / $11.99CAD) - A title (at that point released by 2D Boy) that helped define the WiiWare service, this is a clever physics puzzler in which you tackle various stages by building and rearranging goo-based structures to avoid danger. This will include the soundtrack to listen to at any time, along with various control options; we'll bring you a review soon.
Little Inferno (Tomorrow Corporation, $9.99 / $11.99CAD) - A peculiar premise that originally arrived as a launch day title on the Wii U eShop. You selectively burn a combination of items to solve puzzles, all to reach a typically quirky ending. This will include the soundtrack to listen to at any time, along with various control options; we'll bring you a review soon.
Human Resource Machine (Tomorrow Corporation, $9.99 / $10.99CAD) - The studio's most recent release blends that trademark satire and humour with a unique approach to puzzles; the central premise draws inspiration from programming / coding, so requires logic and careful thought from players across its 38 puzzles. This will include the soundtrack to listen to at any time, along with various control options; we'll bring you a review soon.
The King of Fighters '94 (HAMSTER, $7.99 / $9.87CAD) - We've already had The King of Fighters '98 on the Switch eShop, but why not go back to a previous entry? We quite enjoyed this one in our original review. This is part of the ACA series, and so features various menu options and online leaderboards.
Wii U eShop
Sky Force Anniversary (Infinite Dreams, $9.99 / $12.99CAD) - A shmup released to some critical acclaim a decade ago, it arrives in remastered form promising improved visuals and a 'powerful upgrade system'. The Wii U has had some decent shooters like this over the years, so we'll see how this one stacks up.
Sudoku Party (Lightwood Games, $5.00 / $7.00CAD) - There ain't no party like a Sudoku Party, according to some well-known socialites. Ok, so we made that up, but this offering does include 1000 puzzles and a multiplayer mode in which you can take on an opponent (locally or online) to show off your Sudoku prowess. For fans of these puzzles this is surely rather tempting.
VRog (ByteRockers' Games, $4.99 / $5.99CAD) - The concept may be VR, but in practice you use the GamePad to see through the eyes of a frog while tackling various modes and challenges; it's cited as a 'child-friendly' experience, too, so no raunchy frog shenanigans here.
ACE - Alien Cleanup Elite (Nitrolic Games, $5.00 / $7.00CAD) - Definitely riffing off run and gun action titles from the '90s, it'll be interesting to see whether this one can rise above some rather iffy screenshots to be a fun game.
Double Breakout II (nuGAME, $7.00 / $10.00CAD) - 20 new stages, but otherwise seemingly along the same lines as its predecessor; it's Breakout for up to two players, and we're not sure what else there is to say.
Wii U Virtual Console
Picross 3D (Nintendo, $9.99 / $6.99CAD) - Following the arrival of a sequel in 2016 we now have a chance to catch up with the DS puzzler that added a neat 3D twist to a classic formula. We rather enjoyed it in our original Picross 3D review.
3DS eShop
Sudoku Party (Lightwood Games, $5.00 / $7.00CAD) - Essentially the same as the Wii U version, but in this case Download Play is usable for multiplayer and online matches are also a feature.
New Nintendo 3DS eShop
Double Breakout (nuGAME, $7.00 / $10.00CAD) - It seems we're seeing a mini-revival of Breakout games; this effort from nuGAME (previously on Wii U) promises to blend elements of Breakout and Pong over 20 stages (with support for two players).
3DS eShop Demo
Fairune 2 (CIRCLE Entertainment, free)
As always, Nintendo of America also wants you to check out the official sales and deals website (or the eShop) to learn more about discounts - confirmed reductions this week include the whole Monster Hunter franchise that's on Wii U and 3DS, with up to 66% off depending on the title.
That's the line-up for this week's Nintendo Download Update in North America. Let us know what you plan to download in the poll and comments below.

I'm picking up Afterbirth at retail. For the same price, I'll get a cool full instruction manual. For all that talk about carts being expensive, hence the markup of Switch games, it's ridiculous that the price of this game is the same both physically and digitally.
I really like that Wii U VC is alive for both regions despite the Switch being out. I imagine both regions will catch up with each other and Smash 64 get released before the end.
King of Fighters, World of Goo, and retail Binding of Issac for me.
Just binding of Isaac for me. Between that and Zelda, I'm set for months now on my switch.
@Grumblevolcano Super Smaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaash Brothers!
N64 version on VC would be cool, a definite buy for me.
Added a Fairune 2 demo that was missing initially, my bad.
RIP 3DS.
I'm picking up Afterbirth at retail on Friday. After that I think I'm done until Mario Kart comes out in April. Between Zelda, Fast, And Isaac I think I have plenty to play until then.
@flapjackashley2 ok Godzilla for the ps4 is 20-30 bucks at GameStop..On the PlayStation store it's $59.99.so people need to stop acting like Nintendo started this
@flapjackashley2 o final fantasy is $59.99 on PlayStation store.and retail.what ain't PlayStation getting bashed
I have Sky Force Anniversary on Vita and it is quite good.
While $40 doesn't make me happy, I may have to get afterbirth + anyway.
I was gonna grumble that the Switch eshop seems a little slow but I guess it beats the 3DS eshop by actually launching with the console so I'll shut up and buy Little Inferno which I always meant to check out
Was hoping for another Wii U N64 VC game BUT not too bad! I don't have a Switch and don't plan on getting one for a bit so meh week for me. I can't complain though as I'm deep into Zelda and also trying to now beat Shovel Knight on Wii U. I beat Blaster Master earlier in the week too-- that was a excellent romp through my old stomping grounds!
Nah, I've got the free versions of two other Sky Forces on Android. If I had more time and some throw away money, I'd definitely support the dev, though.
I would pick up World of Goo/Human Resource Machine/Little Inferno in a heartbeat.
Are these coming to Europe?
Just wondering, are you guys planning on reviewing the ACA Neo Geo games?
Waiting for the EU update, and without Isaac and the Tomorrow Corp games, I fear we're in for another bad week.
Does anyone know if "World of Goo" US edition has a language selection option ? My gal needs french...
as Picross 3D is pretty rare (It's 50$/€ on ebay) and a real drug. I would recommand every Wii U owner to buy it.
Nothing else brings the boys to the yard like a Sudoku party, am I right?
SMH 270 degrees like a disgruntled owl
Never had any interest in Isaac....almost got tempted by the retail release, but the art style still makes me cringe, and it would get no play time....holding off for my Setsuna physical import to arrive...someday....some week.... and then holding out for Snake Pass and Has-Been Heroes physical edition the following!
Besides I'm still cramming in some Bomberman (still suck badly) and RMX and Shovel Knight SoT (and doomed attempts at Blaster Master)....and occasional Snipperclips coop to bother with these!
"Switch has no games!" Yeah, right, tell that to my stack of Horizon, and Gravity Rush and FF XV and two DQs and more all piled up in shrink wrap for other systems....
I wonder when the Switch shop will start having sales. Would love a discount if you buy multiple titles from a set, like ACA or the Tomorrow Corp games.
@Alto I was shocked that we got Bomberman 64 last week! I love the N64 Bomberman games, so I hope they release Bomberman Hero and Second Attack as well. Other than that the US is still missing Smash, but I can't think of much else to be honest.
I love little Inferno and world of goo.
O would love a platform that isn't my IPad to play world of Goo on and I don't even have my Wii U plugged in(and won't for some time methinks) so little Inferno is great too.
Yeah, we are seeing a mini-revival of Breakout games, so why don't you actually review some of them?! We're still waiting on reviews for eShop games dating all the way back to last August, for Pete's sake!
I want Isaac, World of Goo and Little Inferno... BUT nothing on the EU store this week! I have £50 credit that I want to spend!
Do any of the Tomorrow Corporation games have co-op?
So... No more European eshop releases announcments ? No deals/sales on the French Nintendo Website ? ...
As much as I love my WiiU, 3DS and Switch and am fully into Zelda BotW, it seems harder and harder not to feel like Nintendo is going down...
PS : and what about these prices ??? They are crazy... I really though that the 3 intelligent systems game would be released as a 10€/$ bundle and Binding of Isaac for 40€/$ is simply a big joke for this kind of short session / retro game...
Sorry, I'm a Nintendo fan, with a lot of Amiibos and Nintendo games and consoles... But I really feel like Nintendo is going too far these days...
@-DG oh me too! I bought that immediately! I LOVE Bomberman 64!
And I agree there's no much more but I am hoping by some miracle we get Mischief Makers and castlevania 64
Otherwise I'll be getting smash when that's released
The Wii U has a pretty good 64 library!
It's sad that the Wii U eshop has more releases than the two platforms actually still in production...
Everyone who hasn't played Little Inferno - buy that. Same goes for Picross 3D, although that's better suited on handhelds....
Human Resource Machine for me. Looks cool!
Just found out that Little Inferno (and presumably the other Tomorrow games) is coming on 23/03 for us in Europe. I really hope there's SOMETHING for us to play this week...
Wow, they're asking $40 for isaac? I mean, it's a good game and all, but you can run it on a potato PC, and it's only $20 on there.
I thought Nintendo said they were going to continue support for the 3ds. Then where's the VC titles! It would make sense to release both Star Tropics games on the service at least and bring Castlevania Legends and Belmonts Revenge since the adventure is already on it.
@RedMageLanakyn
Those are misconceptions : "Afterbirth +" is about $36 (maybe for $20 you can get "Afterbirth"), and if the game looks like it's easy to run, it actually requires a solid machine.
Nothing for me quite yet, my wallet needs a rest for a while! Haha! ...I could be tempted to download Stardew Valley, Yooka-Laylee, Overcooked!, and The Escapists 2 from the eShop down the line - but I'll need to save up some yen first!
@Moon yeah not even the splatoon 2 demo is out in EU...
So Wii U has more support than 3DS now?
@ThomasBW84 any word on the european list. I might have missed it earlier in the week if it was announced but I don't seem to be able to find it.
@RedMageLanakyn you actually need a decent pc due to all the calculations. This is why the wiiu never got to full version. Not enough ram.
@Ryluri we just got the demo, and there's a download update on nintendo.co.uk now. I'm sure NLife are typing it up as we speak
It's been forever since I played World of Goo, so I'll probably end up buying it again. It's supposed to have added multiplayer, too.
Also, I'm just really curious to see how the pointer controls work on the Switch.
Why it takes so long for Europe?
Can someone explain to me how the Tomorrow Corp games control on Switch? No touch screen when docked and no Wii pointer control either.
@Ryluri @FlashmanHarry @setezerocinco
European download update
http://www.nintendo.co.uk/News/2017/March/Weekly-download-news-1207226.html
@gatorboi352 There are pointer controls actually!
https://twitter.com/NintenDaan/status/842226564775481344
So now it's
Switch > Wii U > 3DS?
Wii U was at the bottom for the March 2nd download update, but I don't remember its placement last week.
Why was it switched around?
@Moon no World of Goo, or did I miss something?
@Moon Damn, that's pretty bare...
@setezerocinco we get basically nothing unfortunately
@chewytapeworm yeah, it's even worse than last week.
Release Samurai Shodown III instead of more king of fighters games.
@BinaryFragger same here! I'm a big fan of this game, not a switch owner yet, and this edition is a must have. Already have this game in other platforms so this retail version if for my personal collection haha.
What time in America do these come out?
The Binding of Isaac sounds expensive at $40... I only played the original on the PC way back, so I wonder how improved the Switch "ultimate" version is. Any thoughts?
@faint @Tibob I can run it without issues on my 6 year old laptop, so i wouldn't say that's true. I only paid a total of $23 when I bought it, as it goes on sale often. The wiiu/ps3/psvita/3DS didn't get the expansions because Nicalis has admitted on more than one occasion they are terrible at porting the engine to consoles, and have a lot of trouble optimizing it for some reason.
Where is the European update?
Yeah that actual manual seems glorious, the switch can wait, a physical BOIA+ just can't.
We aren't the only one with this nonsense haha.
Greetings!
@RedMageLanakyn so you got it on sale. If it was a SALE then why criticize the price?
Well, I'll be getting all 3 Tomorrow Corp games and Binding of Isaac. On the fence about Picross 3D.... I want it, but I don't know how much I'll play it on my Wii U.
Have not played World of Goo since Wii, or Little Inferno since releas. Last one I have not played at all.
@The__Goomba I'm wondering what's taking them so long to write it up? I mean, it's not hard to write:
Switch eShop Downloads:
Splatoon Test Fire Demo
King of Fighters 94
is it?
Honestly it's probably not even worth them typing it up.
@faint Because it runs on inferior hardware at a lower price, and let's face it, nintendo games rarely get sales like that. If you're OK with paying premium for a game that has a track record for running terribly on consoles, be my guest.
It's a little weird that the Vita has been abandoned by Sony for quite a while now but still manages to get more decent releases than the 3DS these days. I've got enough of a backlog for both to last me for forever so I'm not exactly starving for games, but it's disappointing when I'm eager to hand over money every Thursday morning but haven't seen anything worth grabbing other than Blaster Master in a long time.
@Slim1999 Well, you are comparing a price of a used game ($29.99) to the price of a new one, so the comparison is not fair. And digital games should be more inexpensive all around on any platform, Nintendo or not. It costs considerably less to distribute and sell a digital game than produce a physical one with a disc/cartridge, packaging, etc. Puyo Puyo Tetris is more fair because it is $10 more for a physical over digital on the Switch, but this is more of the exception rather than the rule.
"so people need to stop acting like Nintendo started this"
Nobody is saying Nintendo "started this". Just because there are similar things happening on other systems doesn't mean we should just accept it.
@IceClimbers Hey, thanks for that link!
I suspected that pointing could get done with the JoyCon as Skyward Sword used gyro+accelerometer for it primarily rather than IR pointing. I was hoping that the IR scanner could maybe help, but you'd have to have something out in front for that.
Looks like it works well enough for a Skyward Sword remake on Switch.
@RatKing64 It really is! The upgrade system is addictive.
@RedMageLanakyn @faint
I'm sorry but you didn't pay 23$ for Afterbirth +. Again, it must have been Afterbirth.
I can agree that games are expensive in general... but why you are hating on this game in particular is a mystery to me. The content is way worth the price imo, and it runs smoothly on 3DS (for exemple).
@IceClimbers of course! I forgot about the pointer in the R Joy Con!
Skyforce Anniversary Edition!!!
So I was right. There ARE pointer controls! Makes sense, considering how the Wii version controlled.
Ok Nintendo... need to start upping your game with the Switch. One NeoGeo game and games we already have on Wii and Wii U are not going to cut it. Zelda and Bomberman, BlasterMaster, and two NeoGeo games is all I've bought so far. What is the next retail release coming? Has Been Heroes? Puyo Puyo Tetris? (Besides Lego City!)
Looks like I'm gonna be sticking with Zelda this week, and probably will continue to do so until Mario Kart comes out.
Still on Zelda the on to Bomberman. Nothing interest me this week and I'm ok with that.
@Tibob I'm not hating on the game, i actually said it was a good game that has horrible optimization on consoles and handhelds. Saying it runs on 3DS smoothly isn't true though. For me it's frozen up multiple times to the point I've had to hard reset the 3DS.
I only paid $6.69 for Afterbirth+ on PC. There was a preorder discount. I bought Afterbirth for $6.66, also a preorder discount. I picked up Rebirth for $10 on sale. So yeah, $23 for everything. If you don't believe me, i'm sorry, but i'm looking at my steam purchase history, and these are the facts.
I want Binding of Isaac but am in the UK.
Any idea when it will be coming out here?
I read that we can login to other regions' estores, but can we buy stuff on there?
Yeesh. Nothing this week.
Retail Binding of Isaac for me.
Fairune 2 demo for sure!
My name is dumedum and I approve of this update.
I bought Issac physically from Amazon.
I will download all the Tomorrow Corporation games - this developer deserves it for being such awesome loyal Nintendo fans.
@Moon why not just d/l it from the US shop if you want it now?
@mystman12 The Wiiware version of World of Goo always had multiplayer (up to 4 people on same Wii).
@IceClimbers Yes, it's basically two versions in one. Pointer, and touch control when handheld.
@RedMageLanakyn I am ok with paying premium for a physical copy of this yes. I'm sure it will double or triple in value by the time the console is done. I can also play it anytime and anywhere.
@Talkshowhost with most credit card companies yes. There are a few that are region locked. I was able to buy from the Japanese eshop with a visa 💳
@rdrunner1178 has been heroes comes out the last week of this month. It's a GameStop exclusive tho.
@faint Well enjoy, hopefully they do right by the Switch and fix any problems that might pop up.
You're not really paying a premium for the physical release though, since it's the same amount for digital as well. You're paying a premium because it's a console release. By comparison, if you preordered the original Rebirth and the two expansions on PC, it would've cost less than $25, and that was months ago.
@Tibob he is using one sale prices to argue against launch prices.
@faint It's not a launch price, the game launched months ago, on several other platforms. Don't team up on me, both of your accusations and arguments have failed so far.
@RedMageLanakyn I can sell mine to make up the difference if I'm that hurt by it. Can you do this? It's also portable which is a feature that has value to me. I'm sure they will fix any issues that occur. Tyrone has said they have already sold above expectations in pre orders alone.
@RedMageLanakyn is it launching on the switch? Yes I do believe it is.
KOF and skyforce shall be mine.
Skyforce looks pretty great (shmup with no borders!).
@faint Well, again, if you're OK with paying extra because they say so, then have at it. If you believe everything that comes from Tyrone....well, let's just say he writes a lot of checks his twitter account can't cash.
You can call it a "launch price" if that takes the sting out of it for you, but to me, after backing out of doing any fixes or updates for wiiu/3ds versions, i'd say it's overpriced. You have absolutely no guarantee you'll have a working game based on their past history of saying "f*** it, we can't handle the engine, no more fixes or updates".
@RedMageLanakyn ok ok man. I'll let you be right. You can ignore that it's new to the system and that it costs money to port. You can ignore that I'm getting it physically which has value . You can ignore that both the 3ds and wiiu had a laughable amount of ram which is the most important thing for a game like this. You can be right. It's cool.
I'm DEFINITELY downloading Sky Force, and I'm picking up Binding of Isaac retail.
@faint Do you know if Nintendo estore credit will work on a foreign store?
@faint Ah yes, the passive aggressive "I give up" response when faced with an intelligent responder and facts. I'll take the win I guess. Have a good day and enjoy your game
HumanResourceMachince.add(1);
😜
@Moon thanks
@RedMageLanakyn I gave you facts. You just dismissed them.
@Talkshowhost not sure. The eshop cards used to be region locked. Not sure if it's still that way.
@KirbyTheVampire I'm confused Nintendo isn't releasing those games third parties are.
@faint What, that the WiiU and 3DS had laughable amounts of RAM for a game like BOI? You brought that up after already stating you were done.
The fact that it costs money to port a game to a new system? It does, but after failing to update or fix either of the previous versions they put out on Nintendo platforms, i'd say they made more than enough to cover a Switch port and give a good faith discount for new/previously burned customers.
I addressed your "decent pc" statement with one that proves otherwise. Other than that, you didn't list any other facts, just speculation as to how you think your physical copy will increase in value as time goes on. You're spinning your wheels man, let it go.
I don't know if you want to update this now, but the Nintendo eShop actually lists Isaac coming out tomorrow, 3/17. That seems to be when the physical version will be out, too.
@flapjackashley2 The physical release will actually have an instruction manual?! Or is it just the usual 3 page pamphlet with all the legal and safety stuff printed several times in different languages and barely anything about the game itself other than the occasional illustrated controller with the controls of the game printed around it?
@WarlockNem it has a manual. The early versions come with extras too.
I got Blaster Master for the 3ds and I love it!!!
@RedMageLanakyn so the physical aspect is not a thing? The wiiu u and new 3ds didn't get the update due to ram restrictions. That's why it's relevant.
Good week and good games. I don't particularly have an interest in a lot of those games, but good to see some quality. Stuff is starting to really thin out for Wii U and 3DS as to be expected.
@RedMageLanakyn BoI: Afterbirth + is $36 on PC.
Thank goodness i have accounts for all regions. Mans gotta keep on the top of his game yo!. Also I'm aware i sounded like a muppet then too lol
Sky Force is uh.........well, they tried?
I'm moreso continuing to anticipate Switch titles.
I have a whole list of things to get once I get my Switch:
Breath of The Wild
Binding of Issac
Specter of Torment
Fast RMX
Some of the ACA games
So many good games right off the bat.
@faint Yes, the physical cart is nice. I'm sure if you bought a copy and kept it sealed, it might be worth a little more down the road. The value of it being portable is entirely up to the individual, and for you it means a lot, so hey, go nuts and get it. After dreadful experiences on both 3DS and Vita versions, and zero problems on PC or PS4, i'm less than convinced they will do right by the Switch. One can hope, of course, but I'd call it a gamble.
As far as the wiiu and 3DS versions not getting expansions due to limitations, i can see that. But then again, why release them at all for the platforms given the buggy and unstable state they're in now? Surely they were working on Afterbirth before rebirth released on wiiu and 3DS, and knew it stood no chance of running well. That tells me it was poor planning, and left a portion of their consumer base without the full experience due to their mistakes.
Lost somewhere in Hyrule for the foreseeable future, but I am happy the VC on Wii U is still getting releases. Maybe they will eventually get around to putting the SNES games I really want on the gamepad there. Otherwise, I will start collecting some of the titles I skipped.
Either way, it will be a while before I jump to the Switch.
@RedMageLanakyn
No man, I do believe you. I didn't think of the cheapest every piece had been but as you got them that way it does add up to 23$ indeed.
@ThePoochyKid Yes, it is, and i'm sure it won't see a sale on Steam for awhile in order to avoid upsetting Switch customers. It does go on sale frequently though, enough so that you could wait it out and get it more than 50% off easily. You won't have that option on Switch, as most games, first and third party, hold their asking price for years, and get minimal discounts.
@NandN3ds So? I'm just saying I probably won't buy any Switch games until Mario Kart.
well I am thinking of picking up the retail version of Isaac...never played one before...what is the game style?
@RedMageLanakyn the guy just doesn't know when to LET IT GO. LOL
The fact that we are getting NeoGeo games are awesome.
@RedMageLanakyn @faint
Is there a way to play the game for cheaper ? Yes, just like there must be a way to hack it and play it for free.
Am I gonna smend +500hrs on it and is it worth every penny of the 39$ ? Yes, for sure, and that's all I need to know.
@Tibob More power to you. Between 3DS, Vita, PS4, and PC, i've easily spent over $100 on BOI over the years. I love the game and have put 100+ hours into it myself. My concern lies with their ability to keep the console/handheld versions stable. Rebirth is basically unplayable for me on Vita and 3DS, with crashes galore. So to me, it seems like a gamble as to whether or not they'll treat the Switch version with care. If i had a switch, i would wait it out a couple weeks to see if there's any major issues.
@WarlockNem It's an actual manual, and it is reminiscent of an original NES Zelda game booklet.
https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2017/02/the_binding_of_isaac_afterbirthplus_misses_switch_launch_day_but_retail_release_adds_instruction_booklet
Such riveting choices on the 3ds eshop...
@RyanSilberman - It is pretty good. I have it on Steam. It's a SHMUP that feels like an arcade classic, but without the constant bullet hell stress.
@bluedogrulez - This is actually one of the few modern SHMUPS that isn't a cheap feeling flash game, or a ridiculous bullet hell that only the grand master professional gamer could beat without dying every two seconds.
@RedMageLanakyn actually most independent game get discounts quite frequently on the eshop. They have even done a few eshop specific humble bundles.
@UK-Nintendo I could say the same about him
Welp, I got my Shovel Knight amiibo today, and with a few other games on the side, it's alright I am content for this week...but the shovel (knight) ware lately on the 3DS, p00p.
@Drac_Mazoku

@faint I'll just go ahead and make this my last comment. We had already said we were done, and obviously we disagree on some things. No harm done. As I said before, have a good day, enjoy your game, have fun, and I'll do the same.
lol, ninty wants you switch to the switch.
and bury the bone that is three-dee-es
I'm really sick of Tomorrow Corp, honestly. They're just dragging along the same games for years and dumping them on every new platform. Already have them, not going to waste my money on a Switch version.
When i get a Switch I'm absolutely buying Binding of Isaac. I've sunk too many hours into that game on just the 3DS version.
Vrog reminds me of the game "frog bog" from the intellivision system back in the day!
Surprised to see this many people still into Binding of Isaac.
When the first game came out all those years ago, I didn't expect it to have any real legs.
@retro_player_22 I second that.
Come on, Nintendo! Put Picross 3D: Round 2 on sale already! It's been out since September 2016 and it has still yet to have a price drop or even a sale! $29.99 is too steep for something like that!
why are people complaining about the afterbirth+ price? the game is just short of $40 on Steam so it's actually amazing that it's pretty much the same price on switch. and the deal is even better when you get the retail version with a printed manual in the style of the original zelda
So there isn´t any discount in KOF 94 or 98 if already have it on Wii VC??? (Nintendo ID)
In the Coming Soon section of the NA eShop, Puyo Puyo Tetris is listed at $40. Wasn't the digital version supposed to be $30?
Waiting on more TG-16 games on Wii U. Otherwise back to Zelda on Switch! Lol.
Psst... put Rondo of Blood on Switch, Konami...
switch needs organization options for games now that the library is filling up.
@VR32F1END
Or they could release the tg16 games on 3ds like in Japan (for the original model)
I wouldn't pay quite that much for The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ but I will definitely get it when it goes on discount.
Ugh! This weeks Switch update has Wii U written all over it again! Nintendo just can't put us through this again!! They just can't for the love of god!! No VC on top of it all!! They better pick it up quick or Switch sales will stall!
@GameOtaku
Seriously?!! That really isn't fair. I'd download some of those in a heartbeat!
Where is the Japan Weekly Update?
@DarkEdi
There might be when VC comes to the switch but this isn't the VC service, it's like the old consoles on PSN. Though I can't see them having this and VC versions of those games.
Any word of a UK Binding of Isaac release?
Wasn't "Blaster Master Zero" also just released for Switch & 3DS?
@Alto I forgot about Mischief Makers! Also I just remembered Mystical Ninja and Goemon's Great Adventure! I wish they would get a VC release, but I doubt they ever will.
@-DG oh my.... if mystical ninja 64 ever got released on VC I'd lose it. That game is classic!! IMPACT!!
It's crazy how we have a Gameboy and a SNES mystical ninja on VC but not the 64 one. Oh well we can dream I guess
