The comparison to Xbox and PlayStation is the cause to rightfully argue their point against how Nintendo offers their cloud save functionality.

Xbox One:
You have access to your cloud saves without paying for Xbox Live. And your data is kept safe without Microsoft deleting your save uploaded data.

PlayStation:
PSN offers cloud saves BUT you do actually have to pay to utilize this functionality. If your subscription runs out you lose access to the cloud save functionality. But your saves are NOT deleted, it will remain there for when you resubscribe to PSN.

Nintendo is more so doing what Sony offers in regards to cloud saves, but Nintendo is deleting your saves if you opt not to or cancel your subscription. There's most likely going to be a auto pay option to keep your Nintendo Online active to avoid your saves being deleted. Imo, I knew Nintendo was going to tie an anti consumer way of cloud save functionality behind a pay wall. Even worse, it's not even compatible with all games as it should.

With all these reports on 3rd party attachments cooking and burning Switches (sarcasm) I'll pass. The device is already fragile, mine is bent.. So I'll just buy Nintendo licensed attachments only. Might as well play it safe imo.

I know Nintendo has licensed 3rd party products too. But I don't want to buy into second hand anything. I'll stick with Nintendo's.

The Scriptures have already been used for blame. There are religious wars everyday. More recently the media is pointing fingers at Isis and video games (of course video games has always been an off/on topic since the early 90's).

I can care less about Trump; because his real life issues that's undeniable is worse than any animated violence from a game. Nobody actually got hurt in a game. How many lives has Trump ruined from his personal disrespect towards anyone who doesn't agree with him? Every time a new true accusation is out in the open about him, and his cabinet knows about it but chooses not to defend his evil habits and intentions, Trump fires them... How about he fires himself? I'm not political, but one needs to remove the speck out of his or her own eye before trying to remove a speck from the eye of the next guy.

There's always room for improvement. Nintendo will revise the Switch at some point like they do with their dedicated handhelds. Not that I have an issue with the current Switch hardware wise; it's missing cloud saves, something that can easily be implemented and tied to your account along with your current download history.

I wasn't going to buy it anyway. Modern wrestling games are unappealing to me. Day of Reckoning is still my favorite.

The best statement was the ESA. Parents need to be better parents over their kids, especially if their child is easily influenced to actually want to do what they see. My parents knew I can discern reality and fantasy, so they never tried to take games away from me. 38 and still play games for the sake of challenge, never to actually be what I see...

Premium prices is their greed in disguise. They had to fall at some point.

He's just being a fan. But in case he has a double standard hidden in plain sight within the comment (personal people in his life would know), then he should humble himself and be satisfied with gamers who do actually buy into that series. It's not for me, personally.

The Ninja Storm series is cool. But I actually like the fighting mechanics of the Clash of Ninja series which started on GameCube, and much rather prefer that. I'll pass on Storm, but it's cool to know it's being ported.

Yeah, I agree. That seems to be where they're dedicated to go. I think after their console the Xbox division will end up being a service imo. All these years since the og Xbox Microsoft has been trying to take out Sony which will never happen.

That's cool for Nintendo. As for Microsoft, I find it difficult to see anything stable for them in the games industry. They have an identity crisis going on in the Xbox division since the launch of One; And haven't found a solid footing since despite the One X.

The Switch is my favorite gaming device.

Interesting, I guess? Cool, but the Switch Pro Controller is my favorite by far. Even without analog triggers.

Seen this video four days ago. All I can say is the truth will always reveal itself. If this turns out to be true as an actual Switch game soon then I'd buy it.

Most of all, they contributed to premium prices for everything. The last thing I bought from them was the N64 at launch. Haven't remembered them since..

I guess it'll come down to how a game is explained and marketed. Nintendo is very secretive anyway..

Nothing new from what has been seen already (Microsoft and Sony). This is just Kimishima announcing that Nintendo is committed to making service games (dlc & micro transactions), being that this business is very successful. Many hate the idea; but the majority rules. It will continue..

I struggle with those sliders and that tiny analog stub, they're just not comfortable to me.... But yeah, the library is cool.

I'm still waiting for a Cloud Save confirmation..

Good decision or should I say re-confirmation. I don't own a 3DS because I have a hard time adapting to sliders. But the library for that device is cool. Still might consider buying one soon though.

Yeah exactly. Hahaha maybe the dev cost was added for the mode that nobody speaks about? As for the characters, just color swaps..

And hopefully people who struggle to understand that Nintendo has been a company for this long making profits can finally quit their "nintendoom" theory every time a game or console doesn't sell to their liking.

I agree with this article. Although I haven't played a MH game I respect the series and fan base though. It looks like it plays similar to PSO. If it does then I'll purchase it in Switch if Capcom decides to make one. I'm positive that they will at some point for all regions.

I agree. I never thought of brand loyalty in all my 34 Years of gaming, simply because I'm a gamer that enjoys to play in between time after responsibilities. I've always owned multiple consoles. So no disrespect towards people who are into brand loyalty, that's on them if they prefer it.

This is really self explanatory and makes sense. If you want it that bad just buy it on the other consoles.

As long as they keep releasing games then the Switch should be fine. I think it's going to do better than last year.

Yeah that part of his statement was a bit doofus and spoken on impulse. But I agree with the rest of the comment. VR and 4K Screens are unappealing to me.

I would actually play the Switch more often if Nintendo allows cloud saves though.

There's going to be a whole lot of game freezing and app closing in Rev1... anyways.. I still might buy it. Not much of a desire to play Rev2 anymore though.

It's cool that they got the game to turn out right. I am planning to get this at some point after Nintendo gets with the times of allowing save data backup either by SD cards or tied to your account i.d like your download history. Until then, I refuse to buy anything more for the Switch.

Reason being is because a month after my day one Switch purchase my console reads game card after a few inserts and not after the initial insert. So I called Nintendo to set up repairs and we got all the way up to the question of game saves. The Nintendo rep told me that all of your save data would be wiped from the device with no way to back it up. With that being said I canceled the repair process.

Two years sounds about right. As far as the Switch relevance it will still profit, especially if more games were made exclusive to the system. System specs is one thing to consider, but so is the increase of user base. The more a device sells, the more software will be produced for it.

Could also be a Switch 2 around that time as well maybe.
