Unacceptable to me. The load times and the price are the major problems giving me zero desire to purchase or play it in general. Thanks for the confirmation NL.
Wow that is interesting. I just checked my system and it is warped slightly on the kickstand side just like the photo above. Slightly I mean like 1 or 2% warped. I mostly play in docked mode and have close to two hundred hours of Zelda time. And no I did not bend my Switch system. I always take care of my electronics..
This is real interesting. System still works though
For completion sake it's ok. But there really isn't anything there accept the Male Garudo outfit and a guy that sells the Hylian Shield. If you already found the Shield in Hyrule Castle or the Garudo outfit from the secret shop in Garudo Town then it's still a decent unlocked location though.
F5 lol ok Brock... Well, hopefully someone who is really looking to buy a Classic or Switch can Spear one before they become unavailable again with 45 minutes.
Shield surfing is cool, but I always forget about it. The side mission in the mountains was the only time I went surfing besides the korok seed challenge also in the same region.
I had this game before I sold my U. Good game but I'm definitely waiting to hear results from people who do plan to spend 64.19 tax included for this game. A mandatory install? Wow lol... Is this even bigger than Botw? Nintendo themselves manage to create an open world without a mandatory install. Interesting.
It was fun!! I had hard times using the default control scheme, so I had to switch to the fps style. But other than that I had a good time. Easy on the eyes too. Day one purchase for me.
Lol so basically I can play the Switch from Dubai to the Philippines, but on a U.S. flight at all... Wow.. If it's a safety precaution then I totally understand.
It works also in lava too. Happened to me yesterday when I was fighting a rock monster near the Goron village. After knocking me off him I fell into the lava and was walking around in it shooting arrows at him until he was defeated.
Nintendo should be taking some 3rd parties to school with techniques like this. It's not a surprise because they always been good at getting the most out their own hardware. Good read!!
I would like new titles exclusive to the Switch. At least the Overwatch creator is enthusiastic about the Switch system and is carefully considering a port. Can't fault him for sharing his thoughts about it. Maybe if the demand is strong and he continues to consider it then maybe it'll happen.
Lol.. I don't predict anything. It'll be interesting to see how this year continues to play out. Good start for Nintendo so far. I think indie devs will be their 3rd party support for the most part. Nothing wrong with that imo. I enjoy retro like games more especially if it's remade.
It could be both a genuine positive note and a covering for themselves. Nintendo has always been formal about everything they say. Which is good. Knowing their track record, which is positive in a lot of ways imo, some of us can smell bs if need be.
Nintendo knows they're up against negative sites, rumors, and media. It's obvious that there are groups who write/type negative things all the time in general. And Nintendo is always getting a bad wrap from people who supposedly don't them, but still spend a whole lot of time trashing them. To me, it's common sense to not pay attention to something that isn't appealing. But hey.. in some cases common sense isn't common anymore. Keeping it moving.
Interesting.. I was wondering why or what was causing this rare random occurrence. It happened a small handful of times against those tall creatures with a spear or sword and shield in my experiences. Good to know somebody detected these hiccup like issues claiming its WiFi related. Anyways, I'll be waiting for that patch like the rest of us.
My comment about the Switch system is simply appealing. I was never pumped or hyped about it. My expectations were low about it which is why I enjoy playing it. I only have Zelda and the second Shovel Knight game. I'm totally satisfied with my purchase. All of my controllers work (Joy-Cons and Pro Controller). The screen protector works, although the dock causes a couple air bubbles, everything is cool to me. So, I'm not complaining at all.
I appreciate the Switch system as it is. My comment is not a fact for everyone...
@BionicDodo One person's opinion, even if others agree and it becomes a "popular opinion", does not make it fact for everyone.
As I commented earlier, I do plan to dlc purchase this game since I haven't played the original. Back in the day I had quite a few friends who also owned a Sega Master System, and it's funny cause none of them bought into Wonder Boy either. Alex Kid... But not WB. None of us hated it, but just didn't buy into. There's a lot of popular classic games I didn't play. So, it's cool to see some of these older companies remastering games from the 80's. I highly enjoy retro games. I'm looking forward to finally play WB.
@BionicDodo Look Esau! Wonder Boy was your personal favorite that I didn't get a chance to purchase. My favorite games I was playing for Master System was The King Fu Kid, Black Belt, Double Dragon, Zillion 2, Quartet, Outrun, Space Harrier, Astro Warrior, Hang On, Afterburner, Shinobi, Ghost Busters, and many others. Those were my favorite/best games.
Console Locked Save Data:
I agree with this article. Unless Nintendo is working on a cloud storage I don't see the point of having no option at all to back up your game saves. I imagine that if Nintendo does introduce cloud storage to the Switch then it'll be most likely be within the online fee.
No Charging In Table Top Mode:
Sigh... yup. We have no choice but to switch to a different play set up once the battery is completely drained.
As I said in other posts though, I play in console mode with a pro controller. And in handheld mode when I'm away from home.
Amazon messed up orders in the U.S also. I preordered the Switch system for my fiancée on 1/13/17 right after the presentation. They charged my credit card on 3/2 but did not ship it. It was supposed to be delivered on launch day. Spoke with seven different people over the phone in different departments and no one had an answer lol.. It's cool though, they refunded me. And I found a Neon Switch system at Walmart after work on the 3rd anyways.
I attended to midnight launch to pickup my Switch system preorder. And I tested the Joy-Cons from the IGN video, and I have no issues at all with neither controllers before and after the update.
@Blizzia There's nothing cocky about me. You don't even know me lol... Internet is your defense, so you're quite welcome to be so narrow minded. No need to prove or convince with you with smarts. Your judgemental attitude is wayyy out of its jurisdiction. Meaningless too..
(So true and yet so sad to see Esau without a pinch of humility)
@gatorboi352 They sure do lol. It's a shame for them to be extreme on an imaginary battlefield. Their sensitivity causes quite the chuckle though, at least recently speaking..
Hopefully it'll get addressed soon. The problem could be an issue for players with big hands. It's not a game breaker for me though. It's a good thing a preordered a pro controller awhile back. All is well...
@Blizzia "PR for Nintendo tells me that..." This link provides a person speaking in hearsay terms. Didn't you actually read it yourself? Come on now... You can't even accurately substantiate this as evidence from anyone at Nintendo simply because "anybody could've said what this guy typed from your provided link." So my liking has nothing to do with it..
I know the issue is getting fixed regardless.
Inb4 you think you know any better. Don't waste your time typing more about it. Keep your hands in your pockets..
@Blizzia
And you provided no source to your possible claim of what Nintendo could've said, which is unproven. So I'm switchin' up on you like a southpaw you get left

That's cool. It also downloads fast when docked in my experience.

@YorkshireNed lol. 45 seconds to claim the NES/Switch. 45 minutes to checkout depending on the possible long lines and number of quantities.

Ok fare enough. That 59.99 price needs a patch though. I'm just sayin'...

Modern society is sad..

Damn!... lol
That's going to be a long flight to the Philippines and I can't even play some MK8 in the way there in a couple months.. oh well

@Dr_Corndog Exactly!..

@EternalDragonX I agree. Just like the Original Xbox One was sold at a loss.

Having the freedom of a console experience anywhere is well worth the 299.99 imo..
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Wii U)
The soundtrack for Hebra Mountains is my favorite in this game. Very relaxing.
