Not that it bothers me because I actually don't buy into EA games, Bulls Vs Lakers back on Genesis was the last time. But I'll just make a general comment, just my opinion, not an actual quote.

Alright. If you're going to be in business with a partner, why half step about it? I'd say Nintendo knows EA's negotiations and business dealings with them more than the public. But every time EA makes these kind of statements publicly I get the impression that they simply don't have the desire to fully support Nintendo's hardware. There always seems to be this "imaginary bar" being set from the CEO's at EA concerning Nintendo. "Testing the waters", so if the Switch succeeds in this then we'll do that, or if they do that then we'll do this..

Just pull your support for Nintendo if that's the case, EA. The ports you do put on the Switch will be gimped (what's the catch) kind of games anyway, at full price or close to. There's gamers out there that really like to buy into your games. But come on now, words get around quick especially concerning info about what differs from port to port. Responsible consumers are not simple minded or naive to not know the differences.

I'm not surprised. Everything in their store has been overpriced since the first day they started business.

The box art looks better than the handheld art imo. Still cool though. Good to see Nintendo pushing the Metroid franchise more seriously by marketing the name better.

Alex Kid was super challenging back in the day. I knew a childhood friend that was in tears over the difficulty of that game and the Xbox original Ninja Gaiden.

Anyways, after beating the three Alex Kid games I played, the only one that I had fun playing was the Genesis game.

Capcom has grammar school report card standards over Nintendo.. I know it's necessary considering they are on a tight budget and want their every business practice to mean something especially for good. I guess this will always be the case for Nintendo. As tedious as it sounds in one perspective or another.

Hmm.. the package bundle is pretty lazy imo. But Capcom did drop the support of Revelations 2 like a cold potato, as far as dlc goes.. But the server events are still alive and kicking. Kinda surprised they're even porting 2 at all.

But I'll buy it mostly to play Revelations 1. I'm not doing the Rev2 Huge Creature Event Bloody Gina prize again. Too time consuming for a color swap unlock.

I'll get the Xbox One version of Rev1 and the Switch version also.

I'll buy Revelations 1 if it happens. But I'm not holding my breathe.

Capcom forgot to say "thank you", to all who bought it. I know it's in the end game credits, but along with their "smash hit report" they could've said thanks too. No entitlement, just my opnion. And yeah, hopefully they will bring more titles to Switch. I'm not holding my breath though..

It's ok, Nintendo. Core gamers know your "get it while supplies last" is a common practice. In Pennsylvania the Switch is not hard to find. My local Walmart gets around five units on a weekly bases since launch.

Metroid confirmation was the only thing in Nintendo's show that appealed to me.

Good article. I'm looking forward to announcements for Switch games this week.

I only expect them to reveal games that are due out this year and Q1 18. A playable demo of Mario is a no-brainer. Metroid is my favorite Nintendo franchise, and as much as I would like to see it I'm not holding my breath about it. Wouldn't be surprised about a potential Smash Deluxe. More indie games. And we'll see if corny Capcom has anything to reveal about Switch games since they were so bent on requesting for more ram for the system.

I hope everyone enjoys Arms. It doesn't appeal to me but it's great to see Nintendo create something fresh outside of the mushroom kingdoms and Zelda. I may check it out at some point.

Positive inspiration is always good. I enjoy reading articles like these.

That's fine imo. My expectations are low and under control. I'm not entitled to anything. The Switch is brand new, selling acceptionally well, and on its third month with mostly positive things regarding it. More game news and reveals are likely to be announced all through the year. What more can we ask for?

Eh... It's a no-brainer to consider the obvious. Before Nintendo and Sony there were Atari and Colicovision, Nintendo and Sega. And so on...

Yes it's a good start on Nintendo and Indies part so far. As well as "participating" 3rd parties so far also.

I think I might watch EA's portion of the Switch reveal, to laugh at the lack of enthusiasm during their so called "Nintendo partnership" reveal.

Watch it still be 59.99 USD to. All too obvious from EA. Profound sadness. They may as well let this be their last game on Switch.

The smart strategy of supply and demand is working really well with the Switch. Even if the whole Apple/Nintendo story is true, Nintendo would still be pushing this strategy regardless.

Besides my undesired thoughts about Nintendo's online service strategy (which I have no interest buying into), the Switch is my new favorite console next to the SNES and GC.

That's great for everyone who wants Nintendo's online service. But it's not launching on my console. Besides the games, the local multiplayer/couch co-op is the better feature to its portability. Imo

Zelda isn't my favorite Nintendo franchise at all. But botw is good. I like the combat and exploration more than anything else. But the dungeons need to return, and also have a lot more enemy types.

@TreesenHauser Haha I hope no one died laughing. But anyway, yeah I don't chat on games a lot either. The game I chat on mostly was for RE games (PS4 or XBOX). I'm just poking fun at this nonsense, so it's not a big deal.

I do understand the logic behind not allowing voice chat via console Bluetooth because the battery. But this demonstration by Hori, and they tried their best with obvious circumstances, is just shameful.

I said this before, but consider the set up in docked mode with the player sittng in front of all that.

@Luna_110 That's true. Which is what makes this sloppy joe set up seem like the only way unless something is announced otherwise from goofy Nintendo (a.k.a Bell Atlantic).

This is the funniest thing I heard so far today. Needless to say, that this is one of those things where I don't take Nintendo serious. Concerning the Switch this is Nintendo's stupid moment part one.

@Devlind That's good to know. But I don't own a Wii U anymore. Sold it a month after the release of MK8 (Wii U). It's not a concern though.

@DarthFoxMcCloud That's cool. Yeah I never needed wolf link to begin with. I think it's a cool feature to have him as a companion in botw. But just having TP as the only way to max his hearts is kinda skimpy imo.

I just found a wolf link/TP bundle from Target like two weeks ago (randomly). So that's why I have it now.

Yeah I have like over 300 hours in. All missions/side quests completed, trials also. As far as korok seeds I found over 500 so far. I wasn't going to purchase the season pass but I had some Gamestop credit left over and bought a pass with it.

That's cool. But how about adding some trials or a way for wolf link to gain more health in botw?..

@MeloMan I couldn't have said it better. Capcom chose a franchise that's getting less popular for a stress test to who is going to buy it. Dubious indeed. With their recent decision making over the past few years they probably think Hado-Ken mode is what will sell the game. How is Capcom going to make a request to Nintendo last year about adding ram and then turn around to get stupid in a comment such as that? It's quite simple to catch a person speaking with a double tongue.

We'll see what happens. Nothing less but the obvious, but we'll see.

@BinaryFragger Exactly... And those so called "Nintendo Defenders" will keep at it to no avail. I can see if they actually get a cut of pay for their defensive kickbacks but they don't. Not a single coupon or a prize from a Cracker Jack box. Just a short-lived measly feel good moment.

Well, it's a win/win for Nintendo. This is why they're not flooding the store shelves with any of their products, especially Switch. The consumer has to find what they look for. Because Nintendo figures that if the consumer finds a product from them that no other store has at the moment then they'll buy regardless of the price. The other day (05/19) I was browsing in Target in the electronic section and happen to see one Wolf Link Amiibo bundled with Twilight Princes for 59.99. Knowing that this particular Amiibo is extremely rare I bought it anyway (even though I only used it once to check it out on BoTW). And I don't even own a Wii U to do those trial to get the 20 hearts. And I don't own a Amiibo Action Replay to hack the hearts on it either. I pretty much own just cause it's rare..

Anyways.. Yeah Nintendo has no intention to change their business practices. It's kinda anti consumer "imo" but they don't care enough to ensure their fans has the opportunity to purchase their systems and accessories. To them (Nintendo) a sell is a sell. A win/win situation for them...
