BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment has revealed that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy will be available digitally on Nintendo Switch on 26th April in the west.
The collection - which includes Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst - is set to drop players into the Ninja World, giving them the chance to experience major battles and fan-favourite scenes with larger than life bosses, adrenaline-pumping quick time event sequences, fast-paced battles, and visuals that rival the anime series it is based on.
In addition to a story mode, players can battle against each other either locally or online in kinetic 3D arena battles. The controls are designed to be easy-to-understand, giving everyone the chance to pull off powerful attacks, while the large playable roster means players can choose their favourite characters from the show.
Are you a fan of Naruto? Will you be grabbing yourself a copy of this trilogy when it hits western shores? Let us know down in the comments.

No physical release plus that awful handheld resolution: no thank you. I was so excited for this pack when it got leaked, but those problems killed my hype.
Lost me at digital only...
If it gets a 720p handheld patch I am in.
I've always been interested in these, but don't know Naruto at all. Cheap in one package, I might jump in
Sounds like a lot of game!
I love Naruto and wanted to play the games for a long time. I just really want japanese voices.. Unless that's in then it's a no-go.
It doesn’t reach the end of the series though?
@KishinLink No, the 4th game which the Switch isn't getting as of yet, does that.
I’ll likely pick this up. Haven’t played any of the Naruto games before. Any pricing announced?
>Digitally
No.
Played them all before on various systems; fantastic games. Not really interested if there's no physical edition though.
Looks like this is the three games that Namco was working on.
Would normally say day one ,but want to see what will be announced tonight during the direct. Will pick it up at some point
I`ll get it, I never played any of the Naturo games, but watched the entire anime.
I`d like to know the size, though. My 128Gb Sd card is almost full already...
Fact its only digital and covers only 3/4 of the story, I’ll pass.
Download only? That sucks. It will probably be 20 plus gigs. I was excited for this up until the download only news.
I think it will be good loved the games but they were huge on the PS need to know the size before i commit
I really want this, but I need to know about price and size if it’s download only.
The Ninja Storm series is cool. But I actually like the fighting mechanics of the Clash of Ninja series which started on GameCube, and much rather prefer that. I'll pass on Storm, but it's cool to know it's being ported.
Again we got screw with these digital only release, guess they wanted to release these to wrap up what's left of Naruto and started focusing on Boruto soon.
I would get it just so I can play with Nintendo’s button layout. I tried playing 3 on steam but over 26 years of YXBA hinders me on the context sensitive scenes out of habit. Also I skipped 1 and 2 since I didn’t have a gaming pc at the time.
My main complaint is that they didn’t opt to release Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy instead which has all 4 with Road to Boruto, unless they are planning to release it separate later. Guess they could do worse and just release the 4th one only.
Seeing as I fell out with Naruto later on in the series, this will be right up my alley as it still focuses on parts of the series I enjoyed. Will be getting.
I would buy it physical
Na, not if digital only - Pass. Will be busy with Yakuza 6 anyway.
Could you play these with the original japanese dialog? Never watched Naruto in english and I really don't want to start now.
@MattFox The trilogy on the PS4 is 18 GB so it can be put on the on-board storage if you want to do that.
@Cosmos14 Price: $60
Download only: Yes
Size: I don't know but the PS4 version was 18 GB
@whanvee the PS4 version was 18 GB and that has better graphical prowess, so I think it uses less storage
@Not_Real_Sakurai is it really 60?
Cuz i was thinking about picking it up cuz I have legacy on ps4 but never played trilogy on it only uns4. And I paid 60 euros for that so I’m not sure I’m gonna pick it up if it’s 60 euros for only trilogy...
@SonCorne I think it' priced @ 49.99 on the eShop
No physical release! I'm grateful Bandai localizes so many games but no physical release changes things, this would have easily been one of my first games when I got a switch.
