Couldn’t care less about VC. We’ve had our fun with it, but time has moved on. I’ll take quality new IPs and sequels to existing franchises over VC any day.
And lmao at Minecraft's price. That game launched for 30 bucks on Playstation systems and you can score it for 5-10 bucks now.
The Switch fanboys will probably argue that it's fair priced though, because they convince theirselves that the Switch delivers such a unique experience that it automatically makes every game for any price worth the money.
@faint What does that have to do with anything? Are you saying games have never been announced for unreleased systems? Every hardware launch day had a surprise pack of games?
It's not coming. Capcom barely acknowledges the Switch.
"However, this time around it would seem that Nintendo fans might be missing out, as the Korean rating only indicates versions for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC."
So this is news why exactly? To bully Switch owners? They are already having a hard time. There's no need to rub it in.
Lmao. Love how people actually believed that this game would come out on Switch. Did you people really wanted Call of Duty: Slideshow Edition? The Switch is way too underpowered to handle this game.
@westman98 If you call upcoming shovelware, old ass ports and niche Japanese games popular, quality games, then sure, Nintendo will have plenty to offer.
@Reignmaker The 2 million who purchased it are the same old nintendo fanboys who buy anything that nintendo craps out. The system could literally have been anything and it still would have sold around that number. Just look at the Wii U, which also had a strong start. Thinking that the system can survive on ports is very naive.
@CB85 Are you trying to claim that it's unanimously confirmed that Russia is an Asian country? Because it's not. More people consider it a European country.
Yooka-Laylee is fantastic. I'm playing through the Steam version right now and I'm having a blast. Does it match the sublimity of BK and BT? Not quite, but it's definitely a worthy spiritual successor to BT. An 8.5/10 so far.
Good to see that it's doing well, because I sincerely hope it will spawn a couple of sequels.
@G-Boy Exactly the same as yesterday. The upcoming months will tell us if the Switch can keep its momentum going and I don't think it can, based on the lineup and lack of quantity. 2.4 mil is decent, but you can solely thank Zelda for that. There's literally nothing else on the horizon that people will buy a Switch for, aside from the upcoming Mario game. Casuals have their phones and tablets, the mass of PS4/PC/One gamers aren't going to buy an inferior system with crappy 3rd party support and the Nintendo fanboys have purchased it already. Especially the lack of interest by casuals is why this system isn't going to do well. We aren't living in the Wii era anymore. The casuals were the reason Wii was a success (Wii Sports and Wii Fit). They are gone this time.
My prediction is that Switch will suffer in the next 6-7 months and that Mario will give it a decent boost again during the holidays. 5 - 5.5 mil by the end of the year.
@CB85 Because the sales in Europe are ass. I can back that up with the fact that it's available since day 1 over here. Pretty much every game store has it in stock. Have been hearing the same from other Europeans.
They are already discounting the system in Russia for example.
This doesn't mean squat. The system has been purchased by all Nintendo fanboys now. The real challenge lies in the upcoming months, because they have to attract the casual crowd and gamers who play on other platforms. Looking at the droughts and upcoming games this year, I'm conviced that they can't make that happen. Ergo sales will plummet.
A 4-year old PC game that the Switch probably can't even run properly An overpriced arcade collection 2 niche japanese games that only the otaku crowd cares for Some crappy indie games
E3 better be amazing for Switch, otherwise it won't even survive 2019. It's all or nothing.
So we're already heading to a Vita situation here, where 3rd party support will mainly consist of mediocre, niche japanese games. Yeah, Switch is looking great...lol
Lmao it's baffling that some of you can get excited over a 4-year old PC game. This also seems like a desperate attempt to get some 3rd party games on the Switch. Similar to the Borderlands 2 situation on Vita. Wouldn't be surprised when this turns out to run just as poorly as that game did.

Mobile games, barf.

They realised they've got nothing else to offer but Mario this year. I'd say that 10 million is still wildly optimistic.

Re: Gallery: Here's What Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Retail Packaging Looks Like, Inside And Out
@Captain_Toad An exclusive Ace Attorney, 2D Metroid, main Pokémon game, a DK game and a quality new IP would be nice (no mediocrity like ARMs).
The new Mario game looks good as well. Have high hopes for the 2018 Fire Emblem game too.
So yeah, I hope that E3 brings something good to the table.
Re: Gallery: Here's What Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Retail Packaging Looks Like, Inside And Out
@Reignmaker I'm sorry, but what quality exclusives does the Switch have exactly? 1-2 Switch?
If I had a reason to buy the Switch, I'd have had one by now. Problem is that it doesn't offer anything that can't be found on other platforms.
Re: Gallery: Here's What Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Retail Packaging Looks Like, Inside And Out
The hype around this game is beyond ridiculous. It's the same freaking game. Just goes to show you that Switch owners are starving for quality games.
Re: Review: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch)
Lmao a 10/10 my ass. Just trying to convince Wii U owners to pay 60 bucks for the same game again.
Re: Japanese Release Of Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star Comes With English Subtitles
This game is a snoozefest. Extremely repetitive and shallow. The reviews speak for themselves.

Where did you get that information from?

I get that most Nintendo fanboys act delusional when it comes to disappointments, but at least try to be realistic..
