Re: Japanese Charts: Phoenix Wright Sells Best On Switch, Anthem Steals Mario's Thunder

Those Ace Attorney sales are horrible. Watch Capcom throw out a statement like “the Ace Attorney franchise has been put on hold due to low demand”, because the sales of these 15+ year old ports didn’t meet their expectations.

Seriously, how hard is it to remake these games? They could put a new coat on the visuals and add voice acting and the games will sell like hot cakes again.

Re: Unlocking All Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Should Only Take A Couple Of Hours

@Kamalen Except I probably have way more going on in life than you do. I’ve got a full time job, I attend university 3 times a week during the evenings, got my own house with responsibilities, I excercise 5 times a week and I’m in a committed relationship. With all that going on, I still manage to find 10 hours a week for gaming.

They could have implemented new, clever and challenging ways to unlock characters, just like in Melee, but instead they chose to throw all characters at you in a handful of hours, making the starting roster completely irrelevant.

@Cosats I’m pretty sure that most people would agree with me when I say a lot of the games on that list are garbage, so I don’t think that I’m insulting the entire community here. But hey if you’ve been eagerly anticipating Timber Tennis or Urban Champion, that’s good for you, I guess.

I’ve purchased Hollow Knight, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Mega Man 11, Super Mario Party, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Mario + Rabbids DLC and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon this year for Switch and I’ve pre-ordered Pokémon Let’s Go and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate so I feel like I’ve been supporting the Switch decently this year.

The PS4 did a slightly better job this year though. Haven’t purchased many games for it but I’m currently enjoying Spider-Man and I’m looking forward to Resident Evil 2 Remake and The Last of Us Part II. Will be getting Fire Emblem, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Pokémon next year for Switch.

Tales of Vesperia as well, but not sure which platform I should get it on.

Re: Guide: 15 Spooky Nintendo Switch Games To Fear This Halloween

Prices are way too high for these games, save for the couple of indies. 50 bucks for Doom on Switch vs 10 bucks for Doom on PS4 with better graphics. Also Resident Evil 7, The Evil Within 2 and Bloodborne are having criminally low prices right now. I’m sorry Nintendo, but I have to give it to PS4 for the horror nights.

I hope an exclusive quality horror game will come out for the Switch some day. Just like Project Zero for the Wii U.

Re: Super Mario Party Rolls A Number Five In Its UK Charts Debut, FIFA 19 Still On Top

@sikthvash I disagree with literally your entire post. The little hubworld/lobby actually gives the game a lot of charm. The mini-games have been the most creative and fun since the GameCube iterations and this is factually the most strategic Mario Party game ever, because of the different diceblocks attached to each character and partner buddies. So far it’s up there with the best Mario Party games imo.

I also love how the bonus stars are different everytime.
