@Yorumi As long as there’s a PlayStation, Microsoft or Nintendo console, there will be no problem. The games will still appear on those systems as well.
@sanderev When was the last time they showed footage of a Pokémon game during an E3 presentation? They only show something during the Treehouse, not the actual presentation.
@GrailUK That was a 30 second announcement of a Pokémon game with no footage just to reassure the fans.
That doesn’t have anything to do with my comment. My previous statement still holds up; they don’t dedicate time to a mainline Pokémon game during an E3 direct and it won’t be different this year.
@GrailUK What are you talking about? Pokémon games never get attention during an E3 presentation. They always get their own directs. That’s been happening in the past 5 years ago.
This direct reconfirms that it won’t be in Nintendo’s presentation.
@LunarFlame17 Why the hell would you buy a full priced game with the intention of playing it later? You do realize it will be much cheaper when you get to it, right?
@roboshort Yeah, using it in handheld mode is most likely the author of this article preferable way of playing. He’s probably completely blind to the fact that the majority of Switch owners doesn’t even use it as a handheld.
@Sabroni Almost every Nintendo game comes out on a Friday and they hit the charts every time. It’s suddenly an excuse because Labo VR didn’t make it? Lmao
You fanboys are overreacting like hell. Couple of things here:
1. This is not VR like PSVR or Oculus. Watch the video before you comment. It’s not in 1st person.
2. The screen is 720p, which will make the screen more blurry than everything else on the market.
3. You can’t attach the device to your face. There’s no strap. So you have to put your arms in the air the entire time.
4. If this was such a big deal, wouldn’t they have announced it with a Nintendo Direct? They know it’s of very low quality, hence why they announced it via Twitter.
@SmaggTheSmug To each their own, the mixture of action and tactics is a perfect combination for me personally. At its core, it’s still a turn based strategy game, you just have to take your time a bit before you start getting familiar with the mechanics.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 really clicked for me at chapter 5/6. I’ll admit that it was a bit confusing for me at first as well. After I learned how everything worked, I clocked 85 hours in the game and completed everything. One of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had.
If you’re not into anime games then yeah, I can understand why it wouldn’t be something for you. Its story is definitely a big part of the experience.
It is a niche franchise, yes, but that’s mostly due to the fact that there aren’t a lot of people who are willing to try it out or refuse to play further than the first couple of chapters. Patience is all you need and you’ll get a gem in return.
@SmaggTheSmug You do realize that you are in the minority when saying that the game is unfair, right? I’ve never heard anyone complain about the rules from Valkyria Chronicles and it’s a well loved franchise. Seems like you just don’t understand the mechanics.

Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Games Of 2019 (So Far)
Where the heck is AI: The Somnium Files?
Re: Curse Of The Sea Rats Is An All-New Metroidvania Headed To Switch
Looks generic as hell.
Re: Super Robot Wars V And Super Robot Wars X Both Headed To Switch
These will never come to the west. When was the last time a Super Robot game was localized? I think the last one was a GBA title.
Re: A Rat's Quest Is A Romeo And Juliet-Esque Story Heading To Switch In 2021
2021..what’s the point in announcing it now.
Re: Feature: Best Pokémon Games Of All Time
This list is trash. Pokémon Let’s Go should be at the bare bottom by a mile.
Also, both Diamond/Pearl and Ultra Sun/Moon are top 5 material.
Re: Review: What Remains of Edith Finch - One Of The Most Unforgettable Games On Switch
@datamonkey Why would you buy a game full priced just to put it in your backlog? You’ve wasted 15 bucks, since it’s only 5 right now.
Re: Fire Emblem: Three Houses Director Reveals It Took Him 80 Hours To Complete One Pathway
@Kirgo Completely agree with you.
Re: Random: Was Shantae The Half-Genie Hero Just Teased For Smash Bros. Ultimate?
Would be awesome.
Re: Story Of Seasons: Friends Of Mineral Town Gets Western Release And New Info
Looks generic as hell.
Re: Retro Studios Is Seeking An Art Director For Metroid Prime 4
@Ricube I don’t think we are ever going to find out. My guess would be working on a couple of canned projects.
Re: Square Enix Also Exploring The Idea Of Its Own Subscription Or Streaming Service
@Yorumi As long as there’s a PlayStation, Microsoft or Nintendo console, there will be no problem. The games will still appear on those systems as well.
Re: Banjo-Kazooie Confirmed For Smash!
I literally got goosebumps when they revealed Banjo. This and Breath of the Wild sequel were the highlights for me.
The entire direct was fantastic, though.
Re: Pricing For Zelda Spin-Off Cadence Of Hyrule Is Revealed
@MagnaRoader Don’t recommend mediocre games to other people.
Re: Rumour: Shigeru Miyamoto Will Be On-Stage During Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference
@koekiemonster Because Banjo-Kazooie is a Microsoft IP. 😉
Re: Rumour: Shigeru Miyamoto Will Be On-Stage During Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference
Banjo-Kazooie in Smash. You’ve heard it here first.
Re: Pokémon Direct Officially Confirmed For Next Week
@Grumblevolcano That’s not a mainline Pokémon game.
Re: Pokémon Direct Officially Confirmed For Next Week
@GrailUK We were talking about the mainline Pokémon games here, not spin-off games. 😉

Re: Nintendo Switch Has Now Shifted 34.47 Million Units Worldwide, Sales Up 12.7%
I don’t like the tagline btw. The Switch is not a handheld, it’s a hybrid console. I thought we put an end to that discussion 2 years ago.
Re: Nintendo Switch Has Now Shifted 34.47 Million Units Worldwide, Sales Up 12.7%
@617Sqn He’s a blind fanboy.
Re: UK Charts: Nintendo Labo VR Fails To Enter Top 40, Yoshi Slips Down To Fifth Place

Re: UK Charts: Nintendo Labo VR Fails To Enter Top 40, Yoshi Slips Down To Fifth Place
No one gives a rats ass about Labo VR. The fact that it launched later in the week doesn’t matter.
Re: Feature: 10 Games We’d Like To See Come To Labo VR
Lmao at making an article regarding Labo VR.
Re: Nintendo Switch And 3DS Blockbuster Sale Starts 11th April, Up To 60% Off Top Games
@Medic_alert That’s €39,-. Not sure if that’s going to be worth it. I’ve heard so many mixed reactions about that game.
Re: Nintendo Switch And 3DS Blockbuster Sale Starts 11th April, Up To 60% Off Top Games
Hmm I might snag Octopath. Although 40 bucks is a still a bit too much imo.

This is just the Virtual Boy all over again.

Pretty blonde.
Re: Team Sonic Racing Finally Gets A New Gameplay Trailer
@Matthew010 Because he always feels the need to show his loyalty to Nintendo games.
Re: Team Sonic Racing Finally Gets A New Gameplay Trailer
Crash Team Racing is going to destroy this game.
Re: Nintendo Download: 28th March (Europe)
Lol that list of sales. I’ve never seen such a huge list of crap.
Re: Ubisoft Will Host An E3 2019 Conference, Date And Time Confirmed
Why is everyone so opposed to a sequel of Mario + Rabbids? That game was awesome.
Re: Ubisoft Will Host An E3 2019 Conference, Date And Time Confirmed
Mario + Rabbids 2 please. Put over 60 hours in the first one. Loved it.
Re: Yacht Club Games Reveals Cyber Shadow, A Thrilling New 8-Bit Ninja Platformer
Looks amazing and the music is top notch!
Re: Xenoblade Studio Monolith Soft Is Hiring Staff For The Legend Of Zelda Series
@Matthew010 He’s talking out of his ass. Nothing indicates that the next 3D Zelda will come out in 2020.
2021/2022 is a lot more reasonable.
Re: Wolfenstein: Youngblood Fires Onto Switch On 26th July, New Trailer Released
Same date as Fire Emblem: Three Houses...yeah, I know what I’m going to buy that day. Sorry, Bethesda.
Re: Review: Yoshi's Crafted World - A Charming Construction Made From Familiar Materials
Minus 1 point, because this website is biased as all hell. So it’s a 7/10, as expected. A good game, but nothing special.
Re: Detective Adventure AI: The Somnium Files Launches This July
Is that date for a western release or a Japanese release?
Re: Google Reveals Stadia, Its Vision Of A Cloud Gaming Future
@nhSnork You could have copy pasted your own comment lmao

Re: Get Double Gold Reward Points When Buying Top Mario Switch Games This Weekend (Europe)

Switch is 2 years old this week and they can’t even bother to throw out a decent sale...
Re: Video: Player Beats Bowser In Super Mario 64 Without Using A Joystick
@Nicolai As opposed to the above poster, I am saying that it’s a waste of time and yes I do manage my time better.

Re: Feature: The Best Metroidvania Games On Nintendo Switch
The absence of Monster Boy in this list is disgusting.
