Haven't gone back to SMO since day 1 of the balloon races, but the more of these they release the more they'll have to put on the box when they release the GOTY Edition for Christmas, so it makes sense.

Anybody else look at that pic and think ti was an amiibo? I would have sworn it was an amiibo.

I can’t stand the Broodals. They’re annoying!! Rabbits was a terrible choice but what do I know? Lol

How many hours am I going to have to spend grinding for coins to afford this outfit? I think they’re going to have to hide about 500 more Luigis in the game to help balance out the number of coins needed to buy 999 moons and get all the costumes. :/

@OnBeingHuman @Franklin It is a little more than nothing, they are fun to play around with for starters. Some of the conversations with Luigi and Bowser change depending on the conversation.

In the game some of the outfits are required to unlock levels and areas. However, I find several of the outfits fun to play around with. And considering the point of games are to have fun, I find them to have some value.

@Franklin Waluigi positively reeks charm. He's one of my favorite Mario characters ever.

His lack of character development is his development. He represents the overshadowed background character in all of us; he tries to force his way into the spotlight with wacky antics when he really knows he's rather insignificant. He wants people to like him, but he's horrible at expressing it. Waluigi gives in to the peer pressure of his brother(?) Wario for his approval. His costume description in SMO even say he's waiting for a turn in the spotlight. He's the most human Mario character there is.

But that's just me.

@ZurapiiYohane The green one is called Topper, the blue one is Spewart, the tall one with the yellow hat is Rango and the other one is Harriet.

Neat, though this kind of feels like it would have been appropriate to have been in the game from the start.

Seriously though, I saw that pic and instantly I imagined a roving cartoon fight cloud with a leprechaun, the easter bunny and Chun-li. Mario got sucked in and spat out in costume. It’s been a quirky day.
