Where’s the EU update?

The entire online service is a joke to begin with. They still haven’t given me a reason to pay those 20 or 35 bucks and I’m not doing so until they give me one.

@CaptChaos They did the same with the 3DS and that system had a much higher install base at that point.

If this is going to be a minor revision with no significant upgrade, then it will be fine. Something like a Switch mini or XL version.

If they are going for a Switch Pro to get more third party support and make exclusive software titles for them, similar to the New 3DS, they will be shooting themselves in the foot again. Seperating the user base is never a good idea.

If more details regarding this upgrade start to leak before the holidays end, it will also have a big impact on their sales.

Currently has a 78 on Metacritic. I’m glad that it turned out great.

This shouldn’t even be news. If new Castlevania games do come out, it will go to the PS4.

I don’t understand why the hell someone would purchase a massive buttload of games and then don’t play them. What’s the point of it? Just finish a game and then purchase the next one. The games won’t disappear, they will (almost) always become cheaper.

I’ve finished over 400 games in my life and I never have more than 10 unfinished/unplayed games in my backlog. I wouldn’t want it any different.

Golf Story 2 would be swell, but they have a lot of other options too. I’m all up for Tennis, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball or Bowling Story.

Whatever they decide to do, it’s a day 1 buy for me.

Highly recommend this game. Personally going to wait for a drop in price, as I’ve played Steins;Gate already on Vita 3 years back.

@Ralizah @electrolite77 @DanteSolablood @dimi The new PlayStation chief stated in a fairly recent interview that he’s looking at possibilities for a new PlayStation handheld. He also explicitly states that he doesn’t want to seperate portable gaming from console gaming, but rather have them working together, which clearly hints at a hybrid system.

Could be standard PR talking, but it’s definitely a change from Sony’s previous boss who flatout stated that there’s no market for handheld gaming anymore.

Only a matter of time before Sony copies the Switch. There’s a good chance that they will make a better version of it as well. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if the PS5 is a hybrid console.

This article is biased as all hell and it doesn’t even make sense. Your subscription ends and so does the ability to use cloud saves. You renew your subscription and you can use cloud saving again.

In the meantime your local saves will always be there!

I’m a big fan of narrative games and visual novels, this game however didn’t do anything for me. It’s a 6/10 at best.

The above are my purchases for the upcoming months. Some people make fun of Switch exclusive gamers, but I haven’t felt the need for another game system since I bought my Switch. Honestly don’t think that will happen anytime soon either.

Pre-ordered my copy last month because the demo was great. Looking forward to it.

Yes! About time. I don’t think I’ll purchase a collection again though, I’ve played them to death in the past. Any new entry is a day 1 purchase though.

Oh and please bring back Gumshoe, Capcom.

If there’s someone out there who doesn’t know about this amazing franchise, this is literally the best way and time to get into it. The 4 games are all coming out within the last 4 months of the year and you’ve got sweet portability to play them late at night in bed.

One of alltime favorite video game franchises. The first game is still the best though. Hope that the 4th game tops it.

@nagash That’s why hoarding games, especially digitally, is always a bad idea.

A gamer should never have over 20-25 unplayed games. It always bites you in the ass.

@OorWullie Yes, I was. I didn’t have a Switch at that point and I didn’t expect it to be a success in any shape or form.

Lesson learned though, don’t judge a book by its cover. The hardware is great and it managed to establish a fantastic library in 1.5 years on the market.

I’m sure Sony will release a similar hybrid system eventually. And I’m sure I’ll buy it, because I loved the Vita.

And if they don’t I’ll be more than happy as well, because the Switch is my alltime favorite system.

How difficult is it to give an exact date, Nintendo? This only throws concerns towards the consumer, because as of now it sounds like it will be a rocky service.

@Findonovan95 Eh no. Just buy a PS4 if you want to play it. Switch has a great library already and would only benefit more from good exclusives.

There’s most likely a lot more that I’m forgetting. If there’s nothing that floats your boat, you’d probably be better off selling your Switch, because gaming might not be the right hobby for you anymore.

Take all the time you need, release it in 2020 if necessary and polish it to the max. There are too many games to play on Switch anyway.

Don’t like this. There are definitely some great indie games on the Switch, but I’d rather see 2-3 quality releases a month as oppose to a parade of garbage.

I’ll buy anything from this developer. Day freaking one!!
