Soulcalibur II is solid 8/10 but nowhere near 10/10 even by 2003 standards. Technically there're no 10/10 games if such Ultimate 10/10 game existed the game industry would have to close it's doors permanently.
I've already pre-ordered Mario Kart World, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Donkey Kong Bananza and I'm going to buy Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment and Fast Fusion. I don't need wishlisting.
A quick session of Mario Strikers: Battle League on Nintendo Switch and I've done Softcore and Hardcore difficulty runs of Hayde3 on PC. Will attempt to get Oldschool, Omnia Mea and Catburglar achievements in one run.
Possible technical sacrifices or cut & paste without optimization depending on hardware capabilities. Ports devaluate the significance of any given game in any series.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is not the greatest in the series but it is pretty solid, varied and fun. After this game I'd like Nintendo to do another The Legend of Zelda game wholly committed to Zelda with her personal set of armour, clothing, accessories, weapons and her own adventure of Epic proportions done in BOTW & TOTK style.
The original Ninja Ryūkenden trilogy has been my all time favourite and what I've seen in the trailer of Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound left me very disappointed. This is not the Ninja Gaiden I wanted.

I appreciate NatsumeAtari Tengo Project games and cannot appreciate Lizardcube games art direction wise.
Re: Shinobi: Art Of Vengeance Gets New Trailer Detailing Its Fast-Paced Combat
@axelhander
What I see and hear is a generic licensed action game with no soul.
Re: Shinobi: Art Of Vengeance Gets New Trailer Detailing Its Fast-Paced Combat
Looks cheap and devoid of any charm the Shinobi series is known for, it definitely deserves better than this.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (31st May)
Switch - nothing this weekend as I don't have a backlog.
PC - Lumo, Xenotilt: Hostile Pinball Action and Tetris Effect : Connected.
Re: Review: SoulCalibur II (GameCube) - One Of The Best Fighters Ever, Playable Oh-So-Soon On Switch 2
@Vyacheslav333
PC superiority regarding games is debatable, however PC is superior in the illegal department and If you support it You know who You are.

Re: Sega & Lizardcube Talk Shinobi: Art Of Vengeance And How To Modernise A Classic
@mlt
I don't know about Streets of Rage 4 being the best in the series but I'm most certain that Bare Knuckle II is and will always be, period.
Re: Ubisoft's Prince Of Persia Remake Expected By 2026, But It's Delaying Other Major IP
The Sands of Time is the best
Warrior Within is solid good
The Two Thrones is acceptable
The Forgotten Sands is ok
P.S. I'd buy The Sands of Time Remake but knowing present Ubisoft it would be censored or worse.
Re: Video: 10 GameCube Games We Want On Switch 2's Online Expansion Pack
TimeSplitters 2 is good but TimeSplitters: Future Perfect would be a much better pick.

7/10 Because of Metroid Prime 4 Beyond and Rhythm Heaven Groove otherwise I'd rate it 0/10

A quick session of Mario Strikers: Battle League on Nintendo Switch and I've done Softcore and Hardcore difficulty runs of Hayde3 on PC. Will attempt to get Oldschool, Omnia Mea and Catburglar achievements in one run.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (1st March)
Shadow of the Ninja Reborn - Switch
Haydee 3 - PC
Re: Best Wario Games Of All Time
Wario Land: The Shake Dimension is my favourite just for the music alone.
Re: 'System Shock 2' Remaster Is Coming To Nintendo Switch With A New Name
Looks not as good as the original patched game with mods but still a pleasant surprise.
P.S. System Shock 2 is one of the greatest PC games ever made.
Re: PlatinumGames Wipes Several Games From Its Website's Portfolio
Anarchy Reigns and Mad World were solid!
P.S. Starfox Zero has one special message in the credits and it's enough for me to consider the game more than just memorable!
Re: Opinion: Forget Themes, I Want A Switch 2 Start-Up Jingle
Nintendo Game Cube by far!
Re: Community: What Are Your Favourite Sidequests On Switch?
@Spider-Kev
The first one did not count so only 99 to find
Re: Community: What Are Your Favourite Sidequests On Switch?
@Spider-Kev
Technically all 100 but 99 actually
Re: Community: What Are Your Favourite Sidequests On Switch?
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Melia's Ascension Quest. It was rather sad though but I consider it my favourite in the entire game.
P.S. And the least of my favourite side quests would be Rise of the Blood Lobster in Xenoblade Chronicles X yet to be released on Nintendo Switch.
Re: Rumour: Konami And Square Enix Expected To Bolster 'Switch 2' Software Library With Major IP
@the_beaver
If you say so, though ports have always been and will be where there's easy money to be made on casuals.

Possible technical sacrifices or cut & paste without optimization depending on hardware capabilities. Ports devaluate the significance of any given game in any series.
Re: Rumour: Konami And Square Enix Expected To Bolster 'Switch 2' Software Library With Major IP
Miniscule effort ports are coming nothing new.
Re: Anniversary: Resident Evil 4, One Of The Greatest Games Ever Made, Turns 20
Resident Evil 4 the game that killed the original Resident Evil spirit off and made the series casual, no piety here!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (11th January)
A brief return to Metroid Dread on Switch and finishing up Aurelia on PC hehe.
Re: Random: Zelda Echoes Of Wisdom Was Suda51's Video Game Highlight Of 2024
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is not the greatest in the series but it is pretty solid, varied and fun. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is my GOTY

Subverse on PC hehe
Re: Tales Of Kenzera Director Slams Publishers' Desire To Create "The Next Fortnite"
I miss the days when games were made for a smaller groups of people dedicated to gaming and not for the mainstream casuals nowadays.
P.S. With big audience restrictions become a necessity and the games starting to lack in every department especially in artistic vision.

Re: Rumour: Switch "Successor" Will Be Backwards Compatible, It's Claimed
I don't need Backward Compatibility as I don't buy new hardware to play old games.
Re: 50 Best GameCube Games Of All Time
@Placidcasual
Product Number 03 was practically "Dat Ass" before Dat Ass meme )
P.S. Not a great game but the Aesthetics rocks!
Re: Hands On: Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club - Rated M For 'Murder'
@TheMegaMarshtomp
Wish Nintendo would do something true horror oriented and who knows they might someday.
P.S. Eternal Darkness is Great though
Re: Hands On: Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club - Rated M For 'Murder'
@RodSD64
Geist was developed by N-Space and Nintendo only published the game, it's not the same as in-house developed M-rated title.
Re: Poll: Do You Prefer Fire Emblem: Three Houses Or Engage?
Definitely Fire Emblem: Three Houses! Fire Emblem: Engage is quite fine in what it is but lacks in oomph department.
P.S. That Unity engine performance though!
Re: 'Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club' Launches On Switch Next Month
@anoyonmus
I was hoping for a brand new Nintendo horror IP, unfortunately it is not it.
