I do not think people are doubting if Welcome Tour is good or bad per se. It is mostly about Nintendo charging for it which it should have been a pack in title like Nintendo Land, Wii Sports, Super Mario World with SNES, or the Astro bot game that comes with PS5 digitally installed. I am have no plans on getting this. Maybe in the future it will be free by having NSO in a year's time.

Legends Arceus was amazing! I completed everything early this year. Before getting to the post game I had already 202 Pokemon caught. That motivated me to "catch em all!" & I'm glad I did just for the Volo battle mixed with Cynthia's team and theme and battling Giratina..... AMAZING!!!!!!! It was HARD but so much fun!!!

Then the final parts with Arceus itself... LOVED its theme and battle challenge. When you fight Arceus the 1st time, its at level 75, I think. When you try battling Arceus after you beat it the 1st time, its level is....100!!!!!!! Ahhhhh!!! The pain and torture battling Arceus when its at level 100.... my highest pkmn at the time was my truly reliable level 92 Umberon...

I do not think Pokemon Z-A will be as great as Legends Arceus but still look forward to it. I do like the themes being placed here [Arceus & Z-A] mirroring Pokemon Scarlet and Violet of Past and Future.

Last thing... people in comments are mentioning epic moments in the Pokemon game series. All points are valid. I want to throw in two as my epic points:

#1- It is when you battle Gary/Blue in the original Pokemon Red/Blue at the Pokemon Legend for the Championship title. That theme hits... and the 1st pokemon Gary sends out is the high level Alakazam! Psychics were so OP in the original game...and Mewtwo was not catchable until post game...We grew up through the journey apart and together and this final battle is the "journey's end" if you will.

#2- It is in Pokemon Black & Pokemon White where the villains literally take over the Pokemon League! Then you have this epic "Final Fantasy" like pokemon battle with N and his legendary vs your legendary using each other's legendary signature moves with the music! Then to fight out, N was not even the final boss.... dude!!! Craziness! I hope we get a remake of Pokemon Black and Pokemon White.

It is not too surprising Nintendo got a low score because people have the "What have you done for me lately" it seems these days.
When Switch 2 comes out and games start flowing again, the results will rise Nintendo back up again.

Why uses two starters from Johto? I suspect that Mudkip would have been the water starter if it did not already have a Mega evolution. Maybe these three starters get a Mega evolution for the 1st time.

We have seen Legends Acreus give pokemon "unique" typing for that region..... Examples: Voltorb (Electric/Grass), Growlithe (Fire&Rock) and my favorite Zorua (Normal&Ghost). These starters will probably get "unique" typings in their final forms.

Looking at the PKMN Z-A so far, I do not feel that scary feeling that Legends Acreus gave me...like the "Red-Eyes" Snorlax chasing me down or that Electabuzz crew wanted to destroy me in the ice mountain area. Nevertheless, I look forward to the game.

I didn't even bother trying. I plan to get the system regardless of this event.

Is there a physical version of Power Rangers Rewind? If not, I will wait for one like I did for TMNT Shredder's Revenge.

This news makes me sad. It signals to Game Freak that they can rush out glitchy games like PKMN Scarlett/Violet and it will sell well. For next mainline PKMN, I will wait for reviews before jumping straight into it.

I actually did not care to get the game, but once I saw the deluxe version, I preordered immediately. XD

@umegames Hahahaha!!! XD XD That would would be awesome! All of the Rattata, Caterpies, and ANNOYING cave Zubats gets destroyed by our MAX level 255 Charizard, Incernior, Espeon, etc! [Level 255 seems to be the MAX level in Dynasty Warrior style games] Big Bosses could be the Legendary Pokemon! But that would never happen though.

PS: Oh the MUSIC!!! How can I forget about the MUSIC??? I literary play the game just to listen to the many songs in the game. Smash Bros Ultimate really spoiled us!

Nintendo make all these updates but no fixes for the constant communication errors kicking me out lobbies after every match? Argh... How is it that Splatoon 2 has better communication connection than Splatoon 3 when Splatoon 2 was terrible?! I have not been back to Splatoon 3 since the first Splatfest in November 2022 with the Pokemon starters event. Hoping for update fixes for communication errors, but nothing yet or if ever at this point.

Full price $$$ for broken communication error messages... Good job Nintendo! Broken Splatoon 3 regarding its connection issues, broken Pokemon Scarlett and Pokemon Violet with its performance issues...That GREAT SEAL of Quality you used to promote in the 90s era is all gone now? What is this?! Nintendo...why you becoming like Ubisoft, Bethesda and EA??? Adopting the mentally, "Broken games at launch and then we will "fix/patch" it later". Unbelievable. I expected better from you, Nintendo.

I hope Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be better shape. Jeez. Get it together!

Heh heh. Had a feeling Pokemon Scarlett and Pokemon Violet would influence the next Splatfest. Sweet. Now if the connection issues could be resolve before then, then I can actually play the online stuff.

Hope this update fixes the constant error disconnecting issues. I am super close to not playing Splatoon 3 ever again because of it.

How can we be in the 3rd game of the series and the online connection is still trash? Then I am reminded of Smash Bros Brawl, Smash Bros for 3DS/WiiU and Smash Ultimate and say, "Oh yea. Because Nintendo." -_-

Well, I will tell you. Waiting for my physical copy from Limited Run Games. Since I am getting it from Limited Run Games, I will probably receive the game in March or April 2023! T_T They take forever to send out stuff. T__T

After all the online nonsense that has been happening with Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony lately where players could not play their digitally purchased games cuz 'their servers didn't feel like working' or cuz 'reasons', I will wait it out for the physical Turtle's game to avoid all that... even if its gonna be a year or whatever.

I know stores like Target, Best Buy will have the game in July or August but Limited Run Games have extras coming with the regular physical game, [not the HUGE collector's edition], that those stores won't have.

My friends and I held multiple Link Battle tournaments in middle/high school during the Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. So much attitude, funnies, bragging, trash talk, competitive and friendly competition over the years. Pokemon battles in the public library, laundromats, outside the supermarkets, and questionable parking lots were all so good! Haha. There was a huge debate over using the Missing No. duplication glitch for our tournaments among the group. Drugging your pokemon with the vitamins and rare candy them to level 100 for epic battles. Those times were special! If Nintendo didnt push for proper battles, none of those experiences would have been possible. Kudos to you Big N!

Maybe I will get the game in 2023 when all the content is available. I am not into this "piece meal" approach Nintendo has been doing with their games lately.

Nintendo Switch Holiday 2022 game is going to be Pokemon Scarlett & Pokemon Violet. Last year was Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl for Holiday 2021.

Playing Dead or Alive Dimensions in 3D mode was Awesome! The snow effects, and visuals were amazing!

Went back to play Fantasy Life on 3DS due to the eshop closings. Hopefully something like that can be ported to the Switch.

Shares dropped by 6% cuz of the delay of BoTW2?? Jeez. People really need to get over it. It's better that it gets pushed to 2023.

Original BOTW changed the gaming landscape and blew people away winning constant awards and getting high acclaim praises all over the world! When BOTW 2 comes out, people will forget about their disappointment and love the game. Argh.

Bought this game at launch and still have not played it yet! If more content is coming for the game, then lets go! Hopefully, that Basketball mini game from Mario Party 6 gets added. It was SO GOOD!!!! ^__^

I remember hating A Link to the Past back in the day. It was so hard and didn't understand what was going on. As time went on and explored, I absolutely LOVE the game! Getting to the Dark World for the first time, finding the Master Sword but not knowing what the swiggly words meant, getting the upgraded to the Master Sword, finding out you need Silver Arrows to beat Ganon but were hidden...so many secrets with A Link to the Past. I'm so fortunate to have played this on the SNES back in the day. What a magical time!

I do not like Nintendo spoon-feeding us things that New Leaf game us from the get-go. This has been a trend with Nintendo games lately that is not cool. The Mario Tennis and recent Mario Golf operate in this way. But I get it. It is a cheap way to keep the game going. They better not mess with The Roost theme too much. It is perfect as it was in New Leaf and Smash Bros Brawl.

I FREAKING LOVED The Thousand-Year Door! Best Paper Mario in the series! My favorite Chapters are 3 & 4. Chapter 3 felt like wrestling mixed with Dragon Ball Z tournament drama mixed with mystery suspense. Chapter 4 felt so emotional & dark. Ch4 was also the chapter we got Vivan which is my favorite partner. Crows in Chapter 4 were like the gossiping neighbors if you used Vivan's abilities. Hilarious! Oh! the soundtrack!!! Ahhhh! SO GOOD!!! ^__^

Since Nintendo is giving up on this style of game, they should just remaster this one or release Game Cube games on the Nintendo Switch Online so we can play it on the go.

Excited this is coming to Switch, but need to know how it will perform.

I purposely used my Switch Pro Controller to avoid drift issues with my joycons. Using Joycons as minimum as possible is not a great solution but what else can we do?
